A wonderful small boutique hotel that's puts a capital C in their marketing description of curated. The design and feel of the hotel is very stylish which we felt was a fusion of Moorish and Mediterranean style blessed with Southern Californian charm. The service from front desk, chef and everyone else was amazing, so friendly, attentive and nothing seems a hassle. The little touches from live music and mimosa's at the weekend, to arrival calming white wine sangria and the "evening peanut" cookies were superb. Our room was beautifully appointed (reality matched the marketing pictures), clean and Cowshed bathroom products are extremely nice. We ate a few times in the hotel and the food quality was excellent even though the selection not extensive. Overall a magical place to stay for a few days to take a calm moment.

This is a really gorgeous hotel. There is beautiful tile work and gardens everywhere. The spa was wonderful. The pool area is very nice. When you walk in you are greeted with a white wine sangria and given a tour and help with bags. The service was great. I think the only reason it is not listed as 5 star is because there is not 24 hour room service. The restaurant is small and limited. This is not a new modern hotel. It is a beautiful historic place that has been really well kept and well decorated. Once I entered, I did not want to leave - I just wanted to relax on the grounds.

A few more options on the dinner menu would be good. There was not much if you are vegetarian or pescatarian.

The inn is beautiful- the design, the courtyards, fountains, plants, everything was serene. The rooms are beautifully designed as well- like a magazine photo. Love the pool area, small but very comfortable and lots of shade for those that get burned by the sun easily. Staff are amazing! Super nice and friendly,

I wish the bed in our room was a little softer. Also, there is noise from the cars going down Coast Highway, which is noticeable in some areas (like our private terrace), but not noticeable in most of the common areas- the plants and fountains help a lot.

We had an excellent stay. Staff is wonderful and location on the hill offers ocean views. You order breakfast the night before and it`s ready for you at the time you picked. The menu has various items, fresh fruits and protein options. The only down note is that the sauna was temporarily out of order and we could not use it. :( We definitely recommend it!

I think the coffee could be better as the rest of the breakfast items are excellent.

We loved the Spanish style architecture and interior courtyards. Rooms were small but comfortable and most have balconies with ocean views. Breakfast is included and was great; it can either be delivered to your room or you go to the main courtyard.

The pool was unfortunately closed while we were there but they reduced our rate because of it, which I thought was a nice gesture. It looked like a nice pool area though with ocean views. The sound of PCH was annoying sitting on our balcony but most Laguna Beach hotels deal with that. While you can see the ocean from the hotel the walk to Victoria Beach takes about 15 minutes and you have to walk up through the neighborhood to get there.

Very nice location in Laguna Beach and comparatively affordable considering the location. If you are looking for a relatively well-priced place in Laguna Beach to stay and explore the surrounding area, you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was also a nice touch!

Room was quite small without much light and a bit outdated. The property is right next to Highway 1, so it can get a bit loud depending on traffic.

The hotel is very quaint and gives you a real sense of being special. For a full hotel we ate most meals by ourselves or with maybe just one other couple. The eating area options were great. We ate at a different spot each day. Service was very personable. Food was limited, but was very good. Massage was great as well. Room had a very nice view of the Ocean and sunsets. Very beautiful grounds and fountains. Very serene.

It would have been exceptional if there wasn't the traffic noise from PCH. For a dog friendly hotel they didn't have a decent spot for them to do their business and the surrounding streets are steep and there isn't any grass anywhere. Besides that they are very dog friendly. There was some construction / remodeling going on around the pool area which we were not informed about so that area was closed.

EVERYTHING!! it’s the cutest spot, so genuine and authentic, a place filled with love in every detail and the sweetest staff any one could ask for! Food was great, above American standards and the beds!! haven’t sleepy so good in years! Pool - clean and prefect temperature! staying here feels like being in paradise and the manager Zamar is a star, he made us feel so welcome and made our stay unforgettable.

Very very charming! I ordered room service twice and it was exceptional and breakfast delivered every morning was extremely tasty. I had a lovely outdoor patio which was shared with other rooms but no one sat there but me and it felt like my own private garden

My only critique at all is that the room although beautifully designed had no place to lay your clothes …no Dresser or a shelf and no chair to sit on.

The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent location.

The parking garage spots were a little tight.
