I liked that the hotel had a nice clean lobby and rooms. I also liked that the woman at the front desk was personable and answered any questions easily. I also liked that the parking lot of the hotel had nice sized parking spaces rather than spaces that were so slender that it would have made it difficult to get in and out of your car. I liked that the hotel was just a short walk to the main shopping area and that it was on the ocean side of the street making it easy to see some of the coast and ocean from the balcony. And having stayed on the 4th of July, I loved that we had a front row seat to the Laguna Beach fireworks display. It was awesome. Even other guests that were on the balcony or at the pool that evening enjoyed it immensely.

There was nothing that I found to not like on this first stay of mine.

Laguna Beach House exceeded my expectations. It's even cuter than the pictures, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, it's quiet, great pool area, and our balcony had a peekaboo view of the ocean. I loved the location as it was walking distance to the heart of Laguna Beach (about 10 min walk) and beach (5 min). Sufficient parking to handle all of the guests and the spaces are large so you don't have to worry about hitting cars or posts.

I can't really think of anything I would change. Compared to other hotels in Laguna Beach at the time I booked, it was mid-range, but overall it was a little pricier than I like to pay for a hotel.

I love how inviting and comfortable that it is. It is a vintage, retro hotel with a surfer vibe that reminds me of the early days of Laguna Beach. My room had wonderful views of the beach and was very comfortable to stay in. I loved the hospitality of the staff and how nice the room was to stay in.

Nothing that I can think of—it is my favorite hotel to stay in Laguna.

The room was nicely located near the pool. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the property. We were able to walk everywhere which was great!

I thought the hotel would be closer to the beach. The room was very expensive, especially with added costs for parking and the hospitality fee. I requested no down, but there was a down pillow in the room so I woke up with a migraine the first night. I was fine after getting rid of the down pillow. It would be a best policy to double check rooms for a special request like this.

Our room was wonderful, really spacious with a huge bed and an outdoor terrace. We were close to the pool, which was really handy and perfect for a quick dip. There is a wine happy hour, where you can get a free glass of wine to enjoy in your room or by the pool and freshly baked cookies also served in the evening. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, it is very conveniently located.

No complaints really the room, location and staff were perfect. The pool was a little on the smaller side - this was fine for us as it wasn't too busy but if the hotel was more full I can imagine it getting a bit crowded at the pool. But you could just take yourself to the beach in that case!

I loved the ambiance of the hotel~ quaint but upscale feeling. My daughter loved the smell of the property and room~ big compliment from a 16 yr old girl! Many comfort details provided~ sunscreen, beach gear, bags of ice and cookies and milk!

I really enjoyed everything for our one-night stay. I didn't like that I couldn't stay another night!

Great location just outside the centre of Laguna Beach with a great walk through a park to a quiet cove or the town. Nice restaurants nearby. Room nicely furnished and comfortable. Pool area was pleasant with a fire pit for cooler evenings. The people who serviced our room were pleasant and efficient. Great underground convenient parking.

No bar or breakfast facilities. The floor of our room was dirty although the room itself was clean.

You can’t beat the location. A close 10-15 minute walk to Main Beach and all the shops. I chose it because of the close proximity to everything and I liked the laid back beach vibe and how small it was. I was not interested in the large chain hotel. All the staff were so nice and accommodating. I wanted a room with an ocean view and a patio, and I got that, it was wonderful. First time in CA, and my first solo trip. The hotel was my home for 4 days and that’s exactly what it felt like. What I didn’t expect was the immediate warmth you’ll feel when you walk in the ADORABLE little lobby. They have this incredible essential oil that they diffuse in the lobby and after I asked if the scent could be purchased because it’s that amazing, I was told that an essential oil company designed a scent specifically for them and are not selling it just yet. Just you wait. The wine and cookies were a nice touch in the evening. They provide tea and coffee in the mornings. A lil breakfast would be nice, but there’s 8 million places you could go eat when you walk out the front door, so that’s definitely not a deal breaker. I didn’t want to leave and I will definitely be back.

The room was adorable, love the beach theme. We were steps from the pool, had our own little patio by the pool and we liked the small deck off the back of our room. Great location to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.

The hot tub wasn't working while we were there, no big deal, just disappointing. We were told we could use the pool/hot tub at their sister hotel down the block which is very nice.

Darling hotel with tasteful beach vibe! The staff was helpful and friendly and everything was very clean and functional. It's not terribly spacious, but I knew that going in. Small but functional pool - my kids loved it! Just a few minute walk from the beach.
