Location was on purpose, to be close to my old neighborhood. The common spaces - and the larger house itself - were great! Staff was fantastic, very communicative. Close and walkable to Echo Park, which is great!

Our room was on the smaller side. We were on street level... so tricky to leave windows open. It was also a Dodgers home series so parking was hard to find (again, I used to live in the area - I know all the streets).

Overall our stay was great, the location, cleanliness, friendly neighborhood and walking distance to plenty of businesses, restaurants, bars, etc. Parking was not an issue. Very nice room although a bit sparse, could use a loveseat or second chair and a small table. AC worked well and patio/deck was also very nice.

Two things that were bothersome. 1) the overpowering artificial scent odor. The first night it was so strong on the bedding that it irritated my throat so much that I woke up in the middle of the night. At first entering the room it seemed to smell almost like cedar, which was pleasant at first, but then as time went on there was just too much of a "perfumey" odor. The bedding and towels both. Prefer just plain clean. 2) Television viewing was literally none, worked sporadically if at all. Could not get the wifi to work for the Roku provided but was able to get phone and tablet connected, didn't understand that. Techie spouse could not get it going. Suggest a little WD-40 on the door hinges.

smelled good. great design. some parking in back. deck space. overall clean and new. great view! bedding was nice. loves the sink in the room

we think the cleaner took our food from the fridge and we were staying another day - we were going to eat it! the bathroom wasn’t as clean as we hoped but it was fine. saw a silverfish scoot across the floor in the room 😐 not a huge deal

We were slightly worried when booking this hotel due to some reviews on guests having parties when staying here, however we experienced nothing of the sort. We were provided clear and simple instructions before arriving on how to enter the property. The property itself was quiet with everyone keeping themselves to themselves. There was a communal kitchen and seating area which was very modern and a great option for those looking to cook their own food. The room was also equipped with a fridge and kettle meaning you didn't necessarily need to use the communal kitchen if you weren't looking to cook. We also found the washing facilities very beneficial which were located in the communal area. Washing detergent was provided at property so all you needed to do was pay us use the machine (the machine took quarters). This was a great addition for us personally as were traveling so needed to wash our clothes and being able to do it on site made life easier. Cleaners also visited the site daily to clean the communal areas and any rooms that had been requested to be cleaned which kept everything feeling very fresh. The location of this property was ideal for commuting into downtown LA or to Santa Monica beach by bus with bus stops being near enough outside of the property.

The walls in the rooms were slightly thin meaning you were able to here other guests conversations or when they started their shower however this wasn't much of an issue.

Nice facilities though there's no one onsite and due to a series of mistakes, I was locked out with no phone and no number to call, just a form email, on Thanksgiving. (the number is printed on a card, that was in the locked room.) Note: When you visit, write down the two passcodes and the helpline text number. Put it in your wallet/purse. Just saying. As soon as the managers were alerted through another renters help (they had that number in their cell... Just saying.) the managers texted the codes for the front door and my room, so I didn't have to spend the night in the car after all. When you enter the first floor door for rooms 1-5 there's a kitchen( fridge stove microwave, plates and utensils and farm table. Then there are five rooms down a short hallway. My room was very spacious with a side chair, private shower-restroom, dresser, hanging clothes closet and sideboard counter with tea, instant coffee, cups and kettle, a sink and small fridge and a TV. The bed was very firm though comfortable, the sheets were well cleaned and changed daily, and lots of pillows. My only other note is that it can take five minutes or more to get hot water. In California that's really bad. They might look into instant hot water systems.

Imo there should be a plaque or sign with the emergency text number. Perhaps on the first floor deck?

Nice modern design of the room, nice kitchen, opportunities for laundry. I don’t agree with some reviews that it is only an instagram location as everything was nicely setup to chill and relax. Access to the location was described well in the emails. I agree that arriving at night it is still not easy to find the entrance gate. FYI: The property entrance more to the left is less steep and has less stairs (better for those traveling with lot of luggage). The accommodation is as mentioned in a residential area what was a bit of a disadvantage for us coming without a car but with Lyft we managed to get around. As by a friend of us the area is popular for live music. For us it was a good stopover with opportunities to cook, chill and do our laundry.

The accommodation is compared to other properties quite pricy. Considering this I would have wished for a better mattress and that the TV would have been setup properly. Luckily my husband is quite tech fit and reset everything. As it is a residential area the first morning we were woken up early in the morning by garbage trucks taking their rounds. If you stay in room 1-4 you don’t know where to find laundry options (it is in the other entrance that takes you to first floor upstairs). As nobody answered my message to the property, the next day the housekeeper could kindly help us and we finally also managed to get coins from the supermarket down the street. As mentioned a nicely designed house but maybe not the perfect option for every traveller.

The room was huge, beautiful and spotless. The bathroom recently renovated.

The room was very hot at night when the AC turned off and we had no control over temperature.

Close to Dodger Stadium and near restaurants, coffee shops and the park.

The rooms are small but you have big common areas. I liked it actually but it's something you should know. We are a family of 4 and had 2 rooms. We had access to a full kitchen and living area as well as a big balcony. There was another room on our floor but we only saw the other guests once. It's a small space so you can sometimes hear others.
