The suite was spacious and perfect for a family. The pool and spas were great with Mountain View’s. The full kitchen was excellent and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of activities that we didn’t utilize but looked fun…ski lift up the mountain, ropes and climbing…

The hotel itself is a little dated. We also did not have a good experience with the pricey and underwhelming restaurant food on site and the hotel is further from the town center than I realized so no restaurants from town would deliver. For that reason we left early to go into town for breakfast because we did not want to eat at the hotel restaurant again. We would have preferred staying to enjoy the ski lift and other activities. If staying again I would buy food in town and cook our own meals in the suite kitchen.

Absolutely fantastic location!!! I had asked for a room upstairs and facing the mountain.....and they delivered! I could watch skiiers from my window and lay back in bed and gaze at the snow covered mountain.....this was it for me!!! So inspiring!!! All the staff were great! Helping me to get the room I wanted and having a bell man carry all my bags to my room when I was exhausted from being at 9,000 ft...not used to that altitude! Comfy bed and wonderful room! Love Mammoth Mountain Inn and can't wait to return in the winter!!!

Everything was fine!

The Mammoth Mountain Inn has by far the best location for mountain access. It's as close to ski-in, ski-out as there is at Mammoth, with spectacular views of the mountain from many rooms and the hotel bar/restaurant.

The Inn is very dated and run down. The rooms are desperately in need of refurbishing. The food service is limited with dinner only served in the bar, and breakfast in the dinning room. The food quality is fairly good, but the service varies widely. The bar service was very good, particularly on a night when they did a great job even with an overflow crowd. Breakfast the next day was the opposite. The food was good, but the service was awful. With an almost empty dinning room, I had to repeatedly ask for parts of my order - juice, coffee, toast. I ended up getting my own coffee refills while the "waitress" spent most of her time talking to receptionist.

The Inn is the best location in Mammoth for skiers. Maybe 200’ of a level walk to either express chairs or the Gondola with great access to the whole mountain. The Inn is dated (see other comment), but that keeps the prices exceptionally low for almost a ski in, ski out location.

The inn is very dated (1959 wood construction) and most rooms are in need of refurbishment. The dinner options are very limited. A small dinner menu in the bar, and one alpine motif restaurant across the street. For any more, it’s a drive into town.

Great location in the mountains, very quiet and with good air, good rooms although a little bit dated. Great bartender.

Whole place is dated and looks like it was built without a permit or at least in multiple stages - expect a maze of corridors. They are also overdoing the whole "Mammoth" thing - it's everywhere and they are kind of pushing it to much.

Beautiful inn with huge mountain-themed common room and kind staff. The pool is great and has mountain views. The suites are very convenient, with a small well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds.

Hotel was nice , it was nice, huge , with loft, full equipped kitchen including fans , heaters , there is everything you need if you go with kids , beds were comfortable and kids loved the loft with twin beds , also they have a shop in the hotel where we could get milk for kids

One of the rooms bathroom they was a leak , I did call the main line and complained so they gave us credit on cleaning fees so we didn't get charged extra and parking was packed when we came cause it was pretty late , just wish they have more space for parking

Our room was comfortable and cool despite the heat wave. Our room was air conditioned and very comfortable. The evenings and nights were so cool with temperatures in the 60’s. The Swiss village design was darling. There were many outdoor activities available just a short walk from the room.

The food was not terrific. Maybe they are still recovering from COVID restrictions and trying to save money. As things open back up, that is the time to really wow guests. Especially since we are essentially a captive audience with no other meal options available.

Staff was very helpful. Right by ski slope which has loads of mountain biking and other activities in the summer. It has good public transport options. Buses into town and reds meadow run right from the hotel as well as Yarts which takes you to Yosemite.

Helping Staff was very helpful ,special thanks to men and his wife my to dig my car from the snow . I believe his name was Plake. He had long colored hair, she was super sweet

Lack of covered parking. Unloading was stressful during snow stormn. Restaurants Should also be open for lunch Have more servers and better food selection. Almost nothing for vegetarians!!!!
