Very friendly manager who went out of her way to help us with everything. Got a free upgrade because the AC in our booked room was broken. Comfortable beds, big room with everything you need for a short stay. Good shower, though even for someone who is only 173cm in height, it was mounted very low on the wall. Some contortion was needed to rinse my hair. Mariposa has excellent dining options, many varied restaurants of which the Ramen place was our absolute favourite. 45 minute drive into Yosemite National Park if you start early enough to be ahead of the crowds.

Every room has an extremely noisy AC unit, which produces a mini-heatwave on the outside of the rooms. The noise is constant, but if you’re into that it’s the perfect white noise to cover all the other noises of a hotel. The breakfast is complimentary, but a bit sad. Individual portions of cereal, plastic wrapped bagels, very sweet muffins and some highly sweetened yoghurt. In my opinion it would be better to save that money and fix the now defunct pool. There are perfect breakfast options within walking distance that open at 6 am as well.

Location was close to Yosemite. I liked that it was close to the restaurants/bars/breweries of downtown Mariposa. The front desk person was very friendly and super helpful and accommodating. Despite being busy due to many people arriving around the same time as me and my wife, she made sure to make us feel like we were tended to and for us to feel comfortable enough to reach out if there's anything we needed.

There were a few what seemed to be tiny fruit looking flies that were attracted to the lights by the bathroom sink mirror that were very distracting and difficult for me to ignore.

Clean, bright, safe and quiet Inn to stop over to Yosemite which is An hour drive away. It is also a short walk to park & ride Yarts bus to Yosemite. Restaurants are walking distance away too. The queen studio with 3 beds is spacious for our family of 4. The bed and pillow is comfortable. We slept well. I like that it is a non smoking & pet free Inn. The simple morning breakfast of cereal, muffin, bread, yogurt, fruit, coffee & milk is great to start our day. Staffs are friendly & helpful esp Kristen. We stayed on 2nd floor (our preference) so have to carry the luggage up the stairs but it is alright for us. Strongly recommended Inn to stay.

The property was good. Nothing fancy, but decent, as in what you would expect in a small town Inn. The manager was the best thing about the property, she was very friendly and did everything she could to make us comfortable. You have restaurants, convenience store, gas station, all within 200ft. About a 45 minute drive from the Yosemite national park

The town has no mobile coverage at all. (But they provide Wifi in the property.) Funny enough, you have plenty of coverage in the Yosemite national park itself.

Staff were very friendly and helped order our dinner when we arrived late and most restaurants were closed by 9pm. Light breakfast was included even though not listed in the hotel description and this was very useful as most places open only by 8am. Rooms were very clean. Get your lunch sandwiches at Pioneer market nearby (opens at 7am) if you drive to Yosemite.

Seemed a bit expensive for a motel. Also since every room faces a small courtyard with just railings - anyone in that courtyard can see inside your room when the door is open! Parking is limited but we did get one of the last ones.

Front desk staff friendly and helpful with details about the Inn. Location felt very safe and the cute town of Mariposa where Inn is located was friendly and safe. Room was large and beds comfortable. They have a continental breakfast that they offer from 6-10am which was a surprise to us. Great place to stay.

I am 5’3 and the shower head came to my chin. So was an issue with the 6 foot husband.

Fabulous welcome from Theresa, lovely and bubbly, room was great, everything worked and I could see from previous reviews that so much care had been taken to improve anytime someone made a comment (I.e someone said the shower head was too low- in our room there were 2 shower heads at different heights) and I’m sure it was due to the comment and actions after! The breakfast was a surprise and great, lots of choice and well laid out!

The only thing was the noise of the ice machine but we had been advised of this- no biggie!

Kirsten helped me with the check in process and she is kind and helpful and went the extra mile to provide useful information on Yosemite hiking, and helped to check where I can hire snow chain. The room is spacious and has convenient onsite parking.

The air condition is quite loud, which can affect sleeping.

Godd starting point for Yosemite NP, very friendly and helpful staff , breakfast included - just bagels and muffins , but sufficient , rooms clean . If you want to have good american dinner , go to Happy Burger Dinner , very good food . all in all , we can recommend for ST stay

Quite expensive , but on the other hand it is close to Yosemite , limited room size and storage spaces , no pool ( the temperature was really high during our visit and refreshing pool would be great)

The room was great - the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was small but there was plenty of good coffee. The motel is about an hour away from Yosemite, we spent 2 nights there and it was an easy drive with beautiful views. Would come again.

There are only two minor things that are a bit annoying. The rooms are pretty loud - I do not really know why. The owners seems to know about the problem - hence the free ear plugs in each room. Secondly, the breakfast room is a bit small, so you might have to wait for a table or just grab something ypu like and eat outside or in your room.
