Staff were very friendly and helped order our dinner when we arrived late and most restaurants were closed by 9pm. Light breakfast was included even though not listed in the hotel description and this was very useful as most places open only by 8am. Rooms were very clean. Get your lunch sandwiches at Pioneer market nearby (opens at 7am) if you drive to Yosemite.

Seemed a bit expensive for a motel. Also since every room faces a small courtyard with just railings - anyone in that courtyard can see inside your room when the door is open! Parking is limited but we did get one of the last ones.

The room was great - the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was small but there was plenty of good coffee. The motel is about an hour away from Yosemite, we spent 2 nights there and it was an easy drive with beautiful views. Would come again.

There are only two minor things that are a bit annoying. The rooms are pretty loud - I do not really know why. The owners seems to know about the problem - hence the free ear plugs in each room. Secondly, the breakfast room is a bit small, so you might have to wait for a table or just grab something ypu like and eat outside or in your room.

Fabulous welcome from Theresa, lovely and bubbly, room was great, everything worked and I could see from previous reviews that so much care had been taken to improve anytime someone made a comment (I.e someone said the shower head was too low- in our room there were 2 shower heads at different heights) and I’m sure it was due to the comment and actions after! The breakfast was a surprise and great, lots of choice and well laid out!

The only thing was the noise of the ice machine but we had been advised of this- no biggie!

Godd starting point for Yosemite NP, very friendly and helpful staff , breakfast included - just bagels and muffins , but sufficient , rooms clean . If you want to have good american dinner , go to Happy Burger Dinner , very good food . all in all , we can recommend for ST stay

Quite expensive , but on the other hand it is close to Yosemite , limited room size and storage spaces , no pool ( the temperature was really high during our visit and refreshing pool would be great)

Everything was great ! We reached the property very late in the evening. Teresa from the front office was exceptional in taking our call, responding pleasantly and helping us with the check in when we reached there at around 30 mins past midnight ! Rooms are spacious, and well maintaimed. Breakfast spread was adequate. Personalised service and helpful nature of every staff member made our stay memorable, and is sincerely appreciated. We are keen to visit there again during spring.

It was a bit of a last minute decision to stay here and we were happy that we did so. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had intended to stay further up towards Yosemite but decided to drive a bit further south at the last minute and we are happy that we did. There is a small museum in town showing the history of Mariposa and it is well worth a stop. It's really interesting to learn about the First Nations peoples of the area and how they were affected by the gold rush and the development of towns like Mariposa. They have a lot of interesting artefacts on display and the lady who was working there was very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the 2 restaurants we visited (the Mexican on the main street and the brewery). Overall we were really happy to have ended up here by accident.

Brilliant location on the doorstep of Yosemite. The town has a lot going on with great food. Room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Check-in and check-out were both very quick and easy. The continental breakfast was good as well and sets you up for the day!

Bathroom was quite dated with loose fixtures, and the room is very noisy with everything going on outside being heard, but the hotel does provide earplugs so that's a positive!

Staff were lovely and welcoming on arrival, with welcome chocolates which the kids loved. The room was big in size and had all the amenities you need as well as being perfectly clean. The location is great, you can walk to the centre of Mariposa easily. Breakfast was provided too which was great as this wasn't listed on booking.com. Would definitely stay again/recommend to friends.

Bed was a little soft so ended up rolling towards the other person in the night.

First, the fabulous Teresa behind the check-in counter. The room as very spacious, plenty of pillow choices, fridge and they had the aircon on when I arrived. Stay FAR AWAY from the chocolate muffins in the breakfast room. You’ll be tempted to load them all in a shopping bag, thus incurring glaring looks from the other guests. They are so good. I’m just looking out for your waistline. Oh, the kitty 🐈‍⬛. So fun and friendly.

I didn’t like leaving the kitty. Kitnapping is not my thing. I only had 8 pillows to choose from.

The room was clean to perfection. There was attention to details. Everything need was in the room. For example, there were earplugs for the night. The service was excellent and the management did a great job!

The bed was a bit broken, and therefore it was not 100% comfortable. Nothing major though. I feel it is normal when you have a little old net or frames for the beds. Regardless, we had a pleasant night.
