Location was great, the patio view was amazing, parking was very close to our stairs to the room. The flowers all around were lovely, the welcome wine was a nice touch & the bed & bedding was very comfortable.

A sign in the room saying we can't use the shower/tub in the room after 9pm to be quiet felt absurd, especially if they are not having the hot tub functioning. We arrived at 9:30 and I was really looking forward to a hot bath after a 4 hour drive so that was a bummer. There were also so many messages emails and texts leading up to the stay that could have been all done in one message and one text so it would be less stressful. They'd be all the same info with one extra part thrown in so it just made me a bit ancy before the trip. Streamlining and consolidating it would be helpful for future travelers. Other than the stress leading up to checking in and the first night disappointment not being able to use the bathtub in our own room everything else was lovely.

Our cottage was so comfy. The bed and pillows were especially good. This may have been the pet friendliest place I've been. Dishes, treats, a bed, poop bags... And literature about pet friendly places around here. Oh, the little bottle of wine for the humans was lovely, too... Not cheap stuff.

We texted with staff but never met them. Maybe this is endemic life? I don't love it. But I see complaints from other guests and I just can't agree. This place is relaxing and cozy. We'd return.

We stayed in the Captain's Watch. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed that there was a hottub and a walkin shower. Even though the weather was cloudy/foggy we sat out on the deck every day and took in the view of the ocean. It was very peaceful and quiet. We used the coffeepot and microwave and mini-fridge.

Nestled amidst the hills, this delightful and charming inn offers a wonderful getaway. Its strategic location provides easy access to a plethora of exciting activities and attractions. Make sure you watch the sunset over the ocean at Mendicino Headlands State Park.

I loved the welcoming extras… the bottle of wine; the doggie treats and dogbed. The property was lovely to walk around in.. The view of the pacific coast from our room was gorgeous! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Beautiful grounds and peaceful.

Room was a tad to small for 3 people. The curtains were open for our arrival making the room extremely hot and stuffy with the afternoon sun as the room was facing to the west. Very difficult to cool the room down.

Setting is relaxing, deck view was really good despite the ocean haze. I thought the bottle of chardonnay was a nice touch.

I missed the spa and an ice machine.

The beach cottage feel. All the trees and flowers. The Rose Cottage was perfect. The view of the ocean. Best of all Dog Friendly!

Beautiful grounds, peaceful area, only 7 minutes drive to Mendocino, bottle of wine and a note in our room on arrival was a lovely touch, super quick and easy check in and out!

Beautiful location, close to the beaches, city . Place is very clean and beautifully decorated . Bed very comfortable . Super dog friendly , they had beds , towels and dog dishes . They also had a complimentary bottle of wine , coffee and tea
