I really liked that Marisol and her team accommodated me as I came in early to see if a room was available for early check in. It was. I came to run the Carlsbad 5000 and the hotel opened breakfast up an hour early giving runners the opportunity to eat before the run. I really liked the location of this place. I am so happy to see that the room came with a full kitchen!! Wow!!

The room could have been cleaned a little better. I found a cockroach that was nearly dead on the floor and a few hairs in the bathtub. But other than that, it did not feel yucky. Just not the cleanest because of the two things described.

It's a perfect place for an extended stay

It is not a place for pleasure. NO BREAKFAST the advertisement clearly says breakfast is in part of the package but there is NO BREAKFAST that's a lie. The lady that checked us in must have been tired because she made checking in confusing and difficult. I had to get upset at her inorder for her to snap out of it and give us the room that we reserved. The bad part about that was the room was clean and available she was just too lazy to call the housekeeper to check to see if it was ready. Instead she had us going up and down looking at rooms that wasn't what we ordered. After driving for 5 hours that became frustrating.

Clean neat Staff was Great

Got a handicapped room. Because it has a shower chair I'm in a wheelchair and it was broken and removed ask for portable shower chair the stated they did t have any they should have a couple of those In case short handicapped rooms.They are 30 bucks, and their breakfast included should just be removed .coffee instant oatmeal granola bar. They must get a lot of grief. The first thing they tell you when checking in is how limited it is if you have a couple small kids under five it may suffice you get your first coffee of the day free saves a few buck

Location was perfect. Pet friendly and freeway access. A lot attractions nearby and a lot of places to eat nearby.

No access of getting back into hotel. All the exit doors you can go out but can't come back in. You have to walk all around to the front entrance to get back in. It's kind of an inconvenience.

It was in a great location. Quiet and away from traffic still close to beaches and convince store.

People were smoking on the first floor made it smell to walk thru to get to outside door.

I loved this place, it was my home when I almost lost everything. Thanks to the staff that understood my situation in my stay. Especially to Erika and Emily that help me in any need of my family and me..

Clean room .walking distance to the beach

Shower head was loose spraying water on floor tightened by hand so it will not leak no shampoo and conditioner in room no hairdryer.

The staff was amazing Emily and Elizabeth especially. One of them was the manager and she was cool and my son loved the place too.

Bigger breakfast would be great.

Location and had kitchen

Refrigerator looked like the outside hadn't been cleaned for a while. Took 3 tries to get working coffee maker. Shower curtain rod barley attached to wall. Been to this hotel a few times, not as nice overall as it has been. Don't know if I will book in the future. Luggage carts had flats making hard to roll
