Cute little place done in a cool mid-century style. Great to have a kitchen and a little patio, and the location was wonderful. Staff was friendly and checked in to see if I needed anything.

The heat randomly comes on in the middle of the night and mid-morning and is jacked WAY up! Even when I turned the whole system off, it would still come on and blast to 75F. Too hot for sleep! Also, some of the bowls and glasses that sit out on the open shelves were a little on the dirty side.

It was nice to have a little apartment instead of just a room. The location is good, parking abundant and pool was nice.

I booked a room with a balcony and got the only room without one with no other rooms available. I also could not get any hot water in the shower but I had already pestered guest services with several other issues (difficulties with complicated check-in process, clogged A/C filter, TV not staying on wifi, light switches not working, needed laundry card) and I felt like a troublesome guest, so I just took lukewarm showers. Room had some trash under the furniture when I came in that I cleaned up.

The Twist is a lovely property that was possibly a Motel in a previous life with some units residential & some are the holiday lettings. Rooms are spacious, clean & comfort table. It was so lovely to have a fully fitted kitchenette with full stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher & Keurig Coffee Maker (& pods) supplied. Dishwasher soap & pods supplied. Lovely toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, soap) available and replenished. Fluffy clean white towels & sheets. Small private balcony off bedroom. Location is great - lovely coffee shop next door & short walk to breakfast places. About a 20/25 min walk into downtown area with lots of lovely shopping & restaurants (might be a challenge in high heat of summer - was about 30C when we were there in May & kids couldn’t do the walk as too hot) Staff are really lovely & helpful. They are very responsive to email & text prior to arrival & during stay. Office closes at around 5pm but room can be accessed easily via keypad code if you arrive after this (we didn’t get in until 10pm as flight from Ireland landed in LAX at 6:30pm) The Twist had a great pool area that the kids really loved and spent a lot of time in. Also has bicycles & helmets that you can use but we didn’t avail - they looked lovely. Very family friendly hotel and would definitely recommend and return to if we can

Nothing really as hotel lovely Tow small issues: 1) room didn’t have a fold out couch as described in advert - however we were fine in the large king sized bed and pump up single bed (2 adults & 2 kids ages 11yrs & 5yrs) - this might be an issue though for others 2) card for machines in laundry room didn’t work even when loaded with money so we couldn’t do laundry.

Wonderful stay at the twist ! Not too close to downtown and not too far. The swimming was heated as well of course as the jacuzzi. Need a towel to go to the pool, well just ask reception. About the studio not much too stay, the bed was comfy, the AC was working and was really quiet. There was everything needed in the kitchen. Yes a really good spot to stay in Palm Spring

Nothing to add in fairness ! The ice machine was also working perfectly :-) Maybe the patio was a bit dusty but this is the desert here and sometime the wind is blowing strongly !!

The location was great. It was right on the N. Palm Canyon Strip. The Twist had a nice pool that was kept clean and even had inflatable swan tubes to float on. The staff was also very friendly and kept in communication through text which was convenient. And there is a Tiki Bar/Coffee Cafe on the corner in front of the hotel which was great for morning coffee. The manager was also friendly and accommodative. The room was great and had a full kitchen in our unit complete with utensils, plates/bowls, a stove, a cute retro microwave, and even a pot and pan or 2 if you need to cook something. Overall, it was a great stay!

Had a slight snafu checking in, but that was resolved in short order. Also, had an issue with the wifi to stream to the TV, but the manager resolved that problem quickly.

Location is ideal! Lots of great shops, eateries and bars within 1 block. Plenty of free parking! Great, helpful, accommodating staff, loved the text option to contact them. Fun, funky, retro vibe, huge studio with huge patio and firepit area. 24-hour heated pool and hot tub. No glassware allowed at pool, but you can buy your own alcohol and put it in the orange Solo cups provided in your room. Big and fully equipped kitchen if you like to cook your own meals. It’s technically a 3-star, “limited service” hotel, but you sure get a lot of bang for your buck!

Some furnishings could have been more comfortable (mattress, chair); certain room amenities could be better maintained (raising & lowering shades could have been easier). Bathroom was a little small, although shower stall was big. (And the unit was huge.) However, my shower door leaked at the bottom, getting my bathroom floor soaking wet.

The room was fantastic! Our room was on the first floor and had an amazing outdoor patio. We loved the room decor, retro kitchen, and the location was excellent for dining and shopping options. The parking was very conveniently located behind the hotel.

Getting pool towels can be tricky since the staffing hours are rather limited. I suggest bringing your own pool towels or asking for pools towels upon your arrival. Also, you do hear people walking overhead in the second floor units due to the tile floors. While I loved the 1st floor patio, I would likely request a second floor room for my next visit.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable during the stay. The pool and mini golf were a hit with the kids and the place was centrally located to shopping and restaurants.

It was a lovely stay. Staff Shoshona helped us out so much when we had several issues with our first room. Amazing customer service! Once that was sorted out, our new room was wonderful. Also, the pool and location were great!

The cleanliness of our first room was not great. Our second room was cleaner. Very cute decor in the rooms, but that may have been used to cover up the fact that some things were not in 100% working order or a little shoddier than desired.

The staff was ready and willing to help out at all times. Got locked out of the room right away and one phone call and someone was working on the issue and wouldn't let me go until I was able to gain access.

Having to sign in for the Internet everyday on the TV. Then having it fail before finally connecting. Not have the password in all caps, since there is no caps lock option. Also, the pics I was given for my room, didn't match with what I was given. I didn't have a couch and the long table. Had a chair and an end table. The patio area was closed off with trees and completely blocked the sun. It's just those small petty things. But I will return.
