I have always liked the location of this hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and you're close to plenty of shopping as well.

I stayed here all the time when traveling back from Arizona and Nevada over the years to Oregon. This was my first time staying here in almost 5 yrs. They have clearly renovated this hotel in that span but, it still just feels old. This is a great hotel if you're looking for affordability but, there are a couple of other hotels that definitely would be nicer on the other side of the highway or along the same road (Hilltop), if your looking for a more luxury feel.

Great Location at a good price. The rooms are well appointed and large. Keyed entry to inside hallways to rooms are secure. We had a nice view of the courtyard and pool. The hotel is being remodeled and updated. The bathroom was clean. The hotel's lobby is grand and the breakfast/dining area is a large open room with lots windows. The food was good and there's a Pete's Coffee Bar located inside the breakfast area.

The front office was not informed our reservation included breakfast, so we had to straighten that out. The wood floor in our room was dirty. There was a constant droning noise in our room so we had to wear ear plugs to sleep. could have been a venting system on the roof, but we don't know. It wasn't the room's heating system or the refrigerator because we turned both of these off, but the noise continued.

The room was large room, had good beds, a clean bathroom that was supplied with ample towels, shampoo and tissues. Our room was quite and comfortable. Breakfast was good. A coffee bistro in the dining area was slightly confusing, and it's not included with the breakfast.

The only thing with this hotel, as is with many hotels, is the heating and air conditioner fan is loud; quieter would be better.

Breakfast was good parking was good. Loved the adjoining rooms. Beds were comfortable and even though it was raining, was fun swimming and getting in the hottub. Front desk was nice and very helpful!

The cleanliness of the room wasn't great. There was obvious food splatter on the wall and under the bed was extremely dirty. The coffee pods from the last guests were still in the coffee pot and there was sugar all around it.

We went to restaurant in Red Lion Hotel and there was live music that had us dancing in our chairs! 1960-70's songs. Great songs and the dance floor was full. The food was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and stay. In the morning breakfast was a very nice spread. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had! Again, we were completely satisfied and are looking forward to our next stay! The sheets smelled so fresh. I drifted right off to sleep 😴.

We didn't have a longer stay! Perhaps next time. Actually, we had this room 1 1/2 weeks ago and there still was the longest cobweb on the wall. About 18 inches. See the picture below. Please know that our room was very clean. We'll be back.

The nice server was quick to take care of my request for orange juice and brought it to my table. The food selection was simple but good. I would have preferred bacon over the small sausage links but they were good in their own right.

I realized that my scented deodorant would cause problems for a colleague who was attending the same seminar. I asked the nice gentleman at the desk if they had any. They didn't have any at all, not complimentary or for sale. I would have happily paid. Perhaps that could be added to their stock?

Perfect location. Pool view rooms are very convenient. Russel checked me in and he was very accommodating. I love staying here. I usually stay here when I come to Redding for softball or anything else.

There was a bunch of hair in the shower on the floor, sides and shower curtain. Kind of grossed me out but I just cleaned it up.

Clean facility

Similar hotel chains offer a complimentary breakfast while you charge 8.99 for the same breakfast. Not a deal breaker but a bit disappointing. The small bars of soap. I understand that is to reduce waste but if you would at least leave more than one bar of soap.

Have stayed here twice now as we were moving from the north to the south so this was halfway point on trip. First time it was two of us and a dog second time was just myself. Staff, rooms and accessibility to everything convenient. Plenty of parking for our big moving truck.

Property is a bit dated. Elevators I never could easily find so stairs were more convenient to use (which is only one flight but had I had a large suitcase, that would have been a pain.) The walk to some of the rooms on the property is a bit far from the lobby.
