Comfortable new property in a wonderful location in Midtown, across the street from Sutter's Fort. Staff is helpful and welcoming; location can't be beat as it is an easy walk to many restaurants on J Street. The rooms are large and comfortable with refrigerator. A good breakfast in the Star Lounge is included. And, the Star Lounge is a happening spot for cocktails and dinner.

Bathroom floor could have been cleaner; I wiped up some water from my shower and towel was black. One has to request housekeeping, which I was not told on check-in, so I didn't have clean towels (or a clean floor) when I came back.

One of the standout features for me was that it’s dog-friendly, which made traveling with my dog so much easier. The hotel also offers a fantastic continental breakfast with a variety of options to suit different tastes, which was a great way to start my mornings. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay, always making sure I had everything I needed.

While my stay at the Hyatt House Sacramento was overall pleasant, I was disappointed with a few aspects, especially considering the price of the room. Basic amenities like bottled water and lotion were not provided, which I would expect from a hotel at this price point. These small touches can make a big difference in comfort, and their absence was noticeable during my stay. Hopefully, this is something they can improve in the future.

Staff were so friendly to me the first time I visited I decided to return for my second trip. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and was in an excellent location because I was visiting a family member at Sutter hospital across the street. Would love to return.

I thought the breakfast was minimal effort. No staff were around so I was not sure how to ask for food to be replenished. The water for tea was lukewarm. I visited on the weekend and booked last minute so I could hear all the music from the back parking lot and surrounding businesses. I couldn’t sleep until midnight when it was quieter.

The location, cleanliness and your STAFF esp COSMOS! Hats off to this young man who went extra mile in making my daughter and her fiance's stay stress free ( they drove from LA and heading to Seattle just stopping in Sac for 1 night) . COSMOS made sure their extra luggage was safe ( as we couldn't do valet because they have pick up truck and they couldn't leave it parked along the street with all the valuables ) . He truly emphasize with them and my husband and I could see his genuine care. He is friendly, patient with answering inquiries and always with a smile .

My IT colleagues have stayed at Hyatt House the last few weeks for work and raved about their experience. From the check-in to the entering the clean and tidy hotel room, I could not have asked for more for the value staying on the 6th floor. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Thanks again. We will be back when work requires us to be back in Sacramento. Your hotel location is perfectly close to restaurants, Starbucks, Safeway and healthcare facilities. Star Lounge servers were nice and friendly when we dined for happy hour.

Nothing major. I wanted to sleep without turning the air conditioner, but I wasn't able to do so.

The staff were genuinely friendly and very accommodating which made every interaction with them a pleasant experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the gym and the hygene level was excellent. i would definitely enjoy another stay.

I found although the valet service was good, the price at $40 was very steep though and a hotel of this calibre really should have parking on site as that was the only off putting aspect of my stay. Also the breakfast was decent it really should had more variety for people who do not eat pork. But it was generally good.

No housekeeping. Stayed 6 nights was told on the phone that we have to request housekeeping which we then did and they never arrived for another 2 days, no clean towels or toilet paper, making beds ourselves everyday which is annoying when we paid a lot of money to stay, room didn’t get visited until we called again on our 4th night for them to please come in the morning which they did and we left the following day. Really disappointed as I had to request twice for this, ridiculous

So many things about this property is worthy of mentioning. Located in midtown, driving in and out in any direction was an experience in Sacramento/California history. With the beautifully maintained Victorian buildings lining the streets and their well-manicured landscaping I was enamored by the calm I felt every time I walked outside. I walked several blocks up the street where I passed a variety of shopping options, restaurants, bars, arcades... when I notice Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and State Indian Museum’s were right across the street I checked out the Fort for free,. The property itself is clean and classy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is decent and satisfying. There is a nice and clean laundry room on site and it really is pet friendly. I was sorry to leave this place.

Self Parking was a challenge if I wanted to save the $30/day for valet parking.

This hotel was very nicely updated. Location was perfect for Midtown Sacramento activities. There is no parking available on site, but they do offer valet.

No onsite parking. Valet is available and is convenient, but does come at a cost of $40 per night. I did not see a mention of that in the listing. During our stay, there was a party on the floor above us and even with sound proofed rooms, you could hear it. The music went on past Midnight.

First class facilities with no extra charges, apart from parking. Would use Hyatt again
