That the maids were literally laying on the bed in the room across us while cleaning it. Why would maids use the room to eat and then make the bed then lay on it. It clean or was. And these maids aren’t quiet or respectful to your guest. I came this day bec I booked same day I stayed the first night the week before and then couldn’t get a refund bec there are no refunds but would have after the first stay and being woke up at 6;30am.

The location is perfect across the beach. Parking garage is also very convenient especially how crowded the area can be during the afternoon. Room was also very clean with an upgraded bathroom.

You will not get cell reception at your room. The wifi is very bad especially when you laid down in your bed.

The room was a great size and layout, felt comfortable.

Maintenance issues of paint touchup on all wood trim and bathroom door; as well as large plaster chips on the largest window sill. Need chest of drawers and hanging area for clothing in Casida Clemente room. Gate lock needs adjustment so it doesn't take several minutes of wiggling the key, and multiple tries to unlock it.

Room/bathroom recently fully updated. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Good amenities. Perfect for two. Location hard to beat. Staff helpful and available.

Travelers should be aware that steps/stairs (and no elevator) make access to this hotel somewhat limiting.

Room 1, Estrella, on 2nd floor ocean front was lovely. No kitchen, but refrigerator. Common balcony area, but we had it to ourselves. Location is ideal for beach, walking into town, etc., directly across the street from the Pier and Amtrak station. Comfy bed. We used the $10/day off site parking just down the hill in a separate garage which was definitely worth it as limited parking on the street. As we arrived early, front desk nice enough to let us check in as our room was ready.

Shower had poor water pressure and handle difficult to manage hot/cold/off. A little noisy in the AM as room faced the street, but that is common for this area.

Fantastic location! Room was clean and well appointed. Bed was really comfortable. The room looked like it had a recent renovation. Staff was really friendly.

Bath/shower towels were really small and thin…not a deal breaker though.

It was at great location surrounded by many restaurants and cafe. The hotel was also right by the pier and had beach access.

The bathroom was a little dated, I mean by it just needed little repairs to make it not seem like it’s old. There was a cracked tile and the bathtub had cracks in it too.

View and proximity to beach and restaurants. Very comfortable bed.

The small table on the balcony was extremely dirty/dusty. Didn't realize the trains across the street ran throughout the night, waking us up often.

Extremely friendly staff, gorgeous location and the rooms were very clean. Also loved the patio area on each floor, even if you do not have an ocean view room you can access the patio. Lovely!

A little outdated overall- some small updates (bathrooms, paint) would go a long way! Also the common areas need work, some of them look like they started renovations and never finished… Rooms could be a bit noisy, but nothing extreme.

Location is amazing! Views stunning and very quaint. Very relaxing and comfortable bed.

They do have a lot of flies on the patios and it’s a bit dingy in the common areas but, the rooms and views make up for it.
