Bedroom were amazing and so clean. The Pool area was devine. The Pool Party was fun. Loved the little cakes served at reception areas as we waited in lobby.

Change the Chef in Mary Jane's. Quicker service in the hotel Bar. Main thing to have the bar open at the pool when the pool is open. More rooms with a bath would be nice.

The restaurants and bar. The walkability

The water is the bathroom was extremely hot. Difficult to manage. Very loud on floors at night. Understand it's a party hotel but not on the sleep floors.

Great location right next to the tram and at the entrance of the Gaslamp, not to mention a block away from Petco Park (where the SD Padres play). Could actually hear them practicing the National Anthem for an afternoon game. Check-in was easy, our king suite was spacious, very comfortable, and clean. Liked that they had a cool bar set up in the room where you could actually sit. They offered bottles of Jack, Tequila, and another spirit, which I forget. The Jack was about $48 dollars but you'd probably get 4-5 drinks out of it which would be more expensive at a bar/restaurant with a tip. A great rooftop pool, while small, serves the purpose. Nice expansive rooftop bar and large sitting area with heat lamps. They host Liquid Sunshine Pool Parties every Sat from 12 pm to 6 pm so if you plan on traveling with kids and want to enjoy the pool that day you're out of luck. Of course, it's free for guests but probably not the vibe for a "family" day + you have to be 21. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Nothing really. I thought the charge of $55 for overnight parking was crazy but people pay it. If you are just going to be in the SD area, you can Uber to everything so no real need for a car.

The hotel is located near many restaurants and a short walk to the harbor. I really loved the outside dining on 5th street. The weekend vendors on 5th street had a lot of nice hand crafted items.

I didn’t like the hotel charged me more than what Booking.com stated when I completed my reservation. I believe I didn’t get the room upgrade because I booked my reservation through booking.com. The service desk representative startled me when we checked in because something was coded on my reservation but she never gave me a clear answer on what was going on.

Great check in by Albomor (it may be different but I'm sure you'll know who I am referencing) . She was fantastic, gave us good recommendations for dinner, gave us an early check-in and a room with a bay view. She was just really helpful and friendly. Location is great, facilities are comfortable and it smells nice. Nice expansive rooftop lounge area, although the seating looks likes it's getting tired. Ok size pool. Friendly bartenders and waitstaff at Maude's. Great seating at the 207 sports bar and lots of big TV's. Comfy bed and nice layout of rooms. Good air conditioning, nice bar area in the room, stocked with full size liquor bottles in the suite and smaller ones in the King Studio, premade drinks, soda, snacks, etc Size of room was nice and we didn't feel confined. Great closet with lots of hangers and good lighting. The lotion provided in the bathrooms smells great.

The water facets, the water temperature and the inability to control it for a comfortable setting. Extradorinaly frustrating. At night the water would be scalding and you couldn't find the correct position in the shower. This also happened when we stayed at the hotel last year. Something needs to be done with the boilers or whatever controls the system. The water can be dangerously hot and I really hate the facet in the sink. That too was a hit or miss trying to find the cold water setting. We're not idiots; we know how to use facets but this design is annoying. Also, the hotel places a $100 "incidental" charge per night. They remove it once they confirm you haven't smoked in the room or trashed it. Not a biggie but I also find that annoying.

We got a corner "WOODSTOCK" suite. The view was exceptional! the Balcony was nice and the view was amazing!!! The shower was wonderful with a spout on the ceiling and one mounted on the wall. It was big enough for my fiancé and I. The rom was spacious and comfortable. there were black-out curtains and a sheen privacy curtain so you could really enjoy the Sunlight in the room with some privacy. I really enjoyed it. The Internet was really good and fast!!! I liked the security feature as you needed a room card to use the elevator. The Rock N Roll historical artifacts were awesome, Especially the pay phone from the Famous CBGB in NYC by the back elevator. they even give you discounts for the Mary Jane restaurant and a free drink at the bar. Parking on the street was ample for the time we were there.

Sadly, there were a few things from moderate to serious concern. In the commode, the vents were coated with dust. the fridge has a mini bar but that's all that is in there, no room for anything you bring back. there was no microwave. The doors on the Armoire were cockeyed and did not close properly. and the worst past was my fiancé picked up the complimentary lotion and the safety seal was broken and there was what appeared to be a pube stuck to the lid. It was placed on the tray next to the sink as if it was placed there by cleaning staff. For the level of care advertised, It was lacking. I will stay again because it was a lovely hotel but there needs to be some care taken with presentation.

The room was great! I'm not a Padres fan, but the view of the PetCo Stadium from our room was amazing. Being able to change the temperature of the room was a big help too. Also, checking in was fast and easy. The man who helped us was very personable and even took us into the lounge for check-in. Overall, I would stay again and plan too sometime soon!

The area we stayed in was exactly what we wanted! Being able to leave the room and not have to worry about transportation was what we wanted. Everything was super close and all the restaurants we visited were delicious!

The location was perfect, lots of bars/clubs/restaurants to choose from! I loved that you could easily catch the light rail across the street as well, super convenient! The staff was awesome , the rooms were clean and room service provided me with champagne and a chocolate cake since it was my birthday! I will definitely be staying here when I visit again!!!

Only con is , if there is a event going on you can’t access the pool and jacuzzi unless you pay the price of the event taking place there

Amazing location , walked to all our brunch/dinner reservations & activities.

The room was so dusty it gave my friend terrible allergies, the hot water went out in our room it was fixed promptly & the pool after the daytime pool party was disgusting, a couple was basically having sex right next to us in broad daylight, the security guard kept warning them instead of escorting them out & couldn’t even go for a night swim as the water was murky.

Location is great - walking distance to everything you'd need. Room service menu was expansive and yummy. Rooms were clean.

Walls need a bit of sound proofing. I could hear the person above us walking us all the time. And the guy next door having a bad bathroom day. Couldn't hear any voices though, so not too bad. Mini bar and snacks are way over priced, so actively avoid touching that.
