Great location close to the gaslamp district and minutes to the freeway when needed., Very comfortable balcony room with great views. Very friendly staff. Nice gro8nds with a large pooñ and two hot spas.

The resort fees ($30) are annoying, as you pay for a room in a hotel, which obviously incudes a gym, pool, etc. And the justification for that charge is that one can use all these in the hotel while they stay there....also includes wifi....seriously? this is the 21st century, wifi is like providing water and electricity..... Parking fee $40 a night?? Again, parking should be provided to hotel guests, just like parking provided in other business. Its not my first ba b q, I am an avid traveler, both domestic and International, and those charges are still annoying. Just add to the daily rate, which will be more of an honest price, rather then playing the game of a lower room rate, but here are some additives.....I am sure the marketing team will reply with Dream On.....

First of all, the location is great! We went a concert at the Rady Shell, it was within walking distance, GREAT!! The staff who checked us in (Gordon) was very, helpful, patient and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return, although it was a little out of our budget 😀

The drop off and getting your car from valet could be better. My suggestion is to use the number 1 lane (closet to the building) strictly for Ubers, taxis, etc. The second lane should be for checking in only, and the next to the last lane should be for picking your vehicle up from valet. And finally the last lane (furthest from the entry way should be a pass through lane ONLY!! Other than that, everything was incredible.

They charged us an extra $500 in 2 separate charges 3 days after we checked out! And when I called they admitted it was a mistake and that it was for incidentals and I “should” get it back in 5-7 days and that I need to check and call then if I don’t get it back. Now I work at the Marriott and I have to be checking that they refund my stolen money???!!! How about you charge me instantly take my money, why don’t you instantly put it back!!! I bet they do this often and if customers don’t notice they just keep your money! So incredibly shady. Bad customer service when I called to handle it.

[1] Breakfast is enough good for one-week-stay especially the on-site egg-cooking is very nice. [2] The room order that was "bay-view" & "two double beds" were properly filled (sometimes these orders are forgotten). [3] Stuffs including restaurant and shops are well trained and competent. [4] Location is excellent because the convention center is next, Trolly station is in front of the hotel. and bay-side walk easy access to activities such as kayaking, shopping and sightseeing.

[1] The amenity system is little bit difficult for non-customed guests. [2] Room-keeping service comes random time (sometimes they come about 8 AM!!) and sometimes forget orders such as "need additional towel" even we hand tips. And detailed cleanings are not perfect: for example dusts in the withdraws are remained or wipe of sink is sometimed bypassed. [3] I think that some facilities are old and should be updated/repaired. In our room. Tap for bath was loosen.

Beautiful facility, a bit pricey, fabulous location. Unfortunately, too cold for the pool the days we were there. Good food available on site, close enough to many desired locations to walk. Clean and safe. Very pretty and stylish. Check in and check out staff very friendly.

A bit pricey for the amenities... lots of extra fees racked the rate up over 550 per night. The only other complaint was unfriendly waitress and a very rude woman at the Exchange pantry. We also inquired about transportation and staff didn't seem too interested in being helpful.

The entire hotel is beautiful. Everything there was well kept and the staff is amazing!

Disagree with paying for parking which is $40 a day for self parking or $55 a day for valet. With the amount of money your paying for a stay then parking should be free.

This is a great hotel, great location, ample services and options. We really felt like we were on a vacation. It has a feel of a resort. There is so much to do inside the hotel, that it was hard to even leave. However, it is centrally located, in a beautiful area of San diego. It is pricey but definitely worth it. I would come here over and over again. A great location near the Marina as well. Too much to do....

I was dissapointed that they could not get us rooms closes together, but honestly...This is a great hotel. This is a nice vacation area. Would go back multiple times.

Loved the breakfast!!! Breakfast was included with my booking and I'm a pancake eater so I enjoyed the pancakes everyday of my stay. Also the omelet station was amazing. Our room was on the 19th floor facing the ocean so can't go wrong with that. Views of Coronado and the bridge was very nice. Swimming pool was fun too. Have to get out there early to grab the shaded areas as it gets hot in the afternoon. Even with a packed pool, we still enjoyed ourselves.

The ELEVATORS!!!! My room was in the north tower and even with 6 working elevators, it struggled to accommodate the volume of people. Coming down was also time consuming having to stop at every floor just to let peoples hopes down because our elevator has been full from the 19th floor. Starbucks closes at noon?! Most of the time I needed coffee later in the afternoon for a pick me up. I know there are other options but it would have been great to have Starbucks as an option throughout the day

Room and view were beautiful and very clean. Bar tender was very nice and helpful. The bell hops and Valet guys were very helpful and polite.

There was only an over-priced breakfast buffet. No ability to order breakfast off the menu. My wife and I are at an age where we simply can't eat a big breakfast. We awoke excited to go down to the beautiful restaurant and have a nice breakfast but we were not going to pay $31 each for food we could not eat so we just left. Please give customers the option of ordering breakfast off a normal menu! Valet parking was very over-priced.
