I stayed here with my husband and two small children. The place was beautiful, the view from our room was amazing and the pool was alot of fun for the kids and us alike. Very peaceful and the area was well lit and secured. The fire pits were a wonderful touch as well. Overall definitely staying again.

Upon arrival a little after 4pm the two young ladies up front at reception a young african american woman and a tall slender white woman were not welcoming in the least. They were very serious and kept it extremely short, I felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to get my key and leave. The place is beautiful but some customer service would go a long way! A simple smile and a Hello would be nice especially after some have been traveling long distances.

The hotel staff are great! The property is clean. I really enjoyed the room service menu, and the restaurant that's adjacent to the resort. So many things to like.

We've stayed at this resort before, but this time we had an issue with our neighbors. Our neighbors were part of a wedding and decided to have 30+ people in the cabin for celebration. Their patio is adjacent to one of the rooms. It was so loud. The hotel manager took a little bit to get involved but in the end was able to shut down the party with security. Something for us to consider in the future when booking a 2 bedroom as I think there are a decent amount of weddings at this location. It's beautiful.

My son got married that weekend and all of our friends, family and the wedding party stayed there. The staff was wonderful to us. There was plenty of room at the pool for impromptu get togethers, hanging out at night roasting smores, it was a perfect setting. We had a couple of wonderful dinners at the Italian restaurant on the site. We had a cocktail party for all of our guests next to gold course which was a great location. We also had the rehearsal lunch catered onsite. It was one of the most memorable three days of my life.

We had to wait a while for our room, but the staff was apologetic about it.

I've been going here since the "Quail Inn Days;' what a world of difference in a great modern way! Hands down, the 'Staff' were the best part of our stay making it unique and special!! 👏 Also, we loved that you can get a free bucket of balls for the driving range, plus free bike rides, paddle boats, and use of the tennis courts; this is great for outdoor type people. Smore packages were a nice touch as well! =)

If you don't have a 'lakefront' view you are pretty much looking at buildings. Not a lot of privacy for the balconies, especially for those on the ground floors around the pool where others can just walk into your space. Rooms are not very teched out/tech friendly. Would have been nice to have that building of comradery via a daily 'happy hour,' highlighting local nibbles and libations from the community like the Kimptons, Embassy Suites....offer! Location is also a bit 'in the middle of nowhere.'

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, pillows were not great but bed itself comfortable. The only complaint I have is a dog was left in the room next door and every time his family left the doggie would bark consistently. That becomes annoying after 30 mins. I was visiting family so I was gone a lot not sure if I could of tolerated had I been n the room more. The resort in all is very nice.

Comfortable bed and clean spacious room. Nice balcony. Convenient location right on Lake San Marcos

The pool area was a free for all combat zone. Many lounge chairs taken with towels covering. Entitled young couples with kids taking large stacks of towels so none were left. Noisy children at pool. The pool experience is not really a solo traveler friendly relaxed experience

The grass area and the fitness centre is well taken care of. We attended a concert by the lake and it was a beautiful day and evening. The housekeeping were accommodating and the staff in general are friendly and helpful.

The pool area was very busy and loud with kids running around without much adult supervision so decided not to use the pool area. The room next to us had a bunch of kids running up and down the corridor at 6:40 in the morning.

Staff is great! kind and friendly. Location is very relaxing, room was very clean and roomy with a comfortable bed. We tried the restaurant next door and food was delicious. Pools are very clean and heated pool was good temp. We also rented a boat from the Marina and had a blast!. Great place for Solo travel or Families.

There was a dog barking consistently next door. I was gone most of the day or this would of drove me nuts.

Great location near the lake! Rooms and bathroom are spacious. Love the pool area with firepits. Nice that you can walk to the restaurant right next door. Also like that we could rent pedal boats to go out on the lake.

There was a piece of lettuce on phone. Shower drained slowly. Hot tub needs to be resurfaced.

There was no need to leave the property! Excellent customer service. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Unlimited number of activities and things to do. Beautiful location!

The lighting in the room is very dim!!! A ceiling fan or some type of fan would help with air flow. Some of the furniture in the room was broken or damaged. The bathroom and coffee bar trays were broken and chipped.
