The free parking! It's rare to find a hotel with onsite parking nevermind free parking! So to come across a reasonably priced hotel in a downtown location with free covered parking is a rare find! As it was a Motel 6, you set your expectations accordingly. The room was large, with 2 queen beds, tiny fridge, LCD TV, and hangers. There wasn't much of a view, not that it mattered. Most importantly, the room was clean and quiet. There were quite a lot of homeless people around the hotel but I never felt unsafe. Besides, it's San Francisco so encountering homeless people in downtown area is common.

No microwave in the room but not important.

They have double king options! My tall friends appreciated it. There was a good-sized fridge in the room, the room was clean, and the AC worked. It was a great price and at a great location to walk to Japan or China town. They have a under ground garage, no gate but no mischief had been had.

I personally didn't mind it, but it's in a tougher area where drug use and poverty are abundant. Considering I was visiting outside of the general neighborhood, I didn't mind driving or walking through. They didn't have a microwave in the room :(

I really enjoyed the easy check in, it was very smooth, everyone was very helpful. It was an easy location to get to and from places, we used Uber mostly, I’d stay here again it was a rough location but it was a great price and the hotel is pretty clean you can tell they actually care. Housekeeping is awesome too our room was tidy and clean.I liked that they cared enough to say something when they saw our car windows down. I really appreciated them looking out for us. I would absolutely come back.

Location was pretty gross. However, I felt safe. The people around the location don’t bug you or talk to you, there’s a liquor store across both streets. However one had expired stuff and there’s a dope dominoes too for late night munchies(use their app and go pick up)

Easy check in friendly staff free coffee in the morning they were even kind enough to allow me to keep my car there for a little bit while I got something to eat before my drive home I do appreciate that that's a big plus kudos

The coffee in the morning was great but it will also be nice if they had some bagels and cream cheese or a nice little setup for breakfast

Friendly staff: when I was checking in with my friend and pet, the staff asked me whether I want to change to two queen size beds (I booked a King size bed, because my friend haven’t decided to come with me when I book the motel.) Clean room: it’s pet friendly motel, but the room is very clean! Comfortable bed: the bed is comfortable! Good soundproof: there are no noises at all. The room is quiet and peaceful. Big room: the room is big enough for me and my friend with luggages and bags and pet. Pet friendly: no need to pay extra for pet.

Bad location: The motel is located in a street which has a lot of homeless people. But as long as you ignore, that’s fine.

centric location, near to most of the main attractions, the room service, Dish network tv service with premium channels, free wifi service, and cleaning service every day with clean towels and new soap every day we stayed.

Ice machines didn't work on most of the floors only one worked out of 3, the hallways were stinky with different types of smog in nonsmoking areas. the street was full of homeless sleeping on the sidewalk by the registration office, and the parking lot,

The was a nice size room was very clean, hallway to the room was also clean the whole place looked clean. The area was not the best not the best part of San Francisco, but I knew this when I booked my room. It did have a under ground parking which was safe. I felt safe at the motel. Walking during the day is ok, but at night be aware.

Great location, really awesome staff, large rooms, and they have smoking rooms as well! Surprisingly great shower too!

The beds were kinda spring-y…not the most comfy. But you can’t beat the price, the fact they have smoking rooms, and the ample sized rooms.

huge room with two king beds in a very central location. great service from the cleaners with fresh towels, cleaned room, and beds made and turned down.

fairly rough area is a bit disconcerting for some anxious travellers but our car was safe and secure and the place was really quiet.

room was clean, was a little slow checking in this time. I have stayed here many of times. Location is a little questionable but I never had any problems, and they have a parking garage with cameras. No bugs or outside noise.
