The Hayes Mansion is a beautiful property with an historic feel. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, swimming in the pool, and reading and relaxing in many lovely sitting areas. We explored the mansion and read about the history in a small exhibit in the hotel for guests. There is a large park adjacent to the hotel with trails and a large playground. The Mansion is in a quiet neighborhood in San Jose.

Some of the public areas could use a little TLC.

Overall a very nice property! The main building is historic and has been beautifully restored and it is fun to wander through seeing how the very rich of the past lived in comfort. Our room was in another newer building, the room was comfortable and VERY clean. A microwave would have really been nice to have... Great location, easy access to freeways, NO traffic noise on the property, we were on the ground floor and did not hear a peep from another room. Such a peaceful place in the middle of the busy Santa Clara valley. Breakfast in the restaurant was a well appointed buffet that like all buffets made me eat way more than I needed but, the park right next to the hotel was a great place to walk off the meals.

- The newly renovated room had something in it that started to affect our sinus allergies after 2 nights - no idea what it could have been. - There was plenty of parking, seemed crazy to have to pay $15 extra per day to park

Kelsey from the Front Desk was amazing. Cullan the bartender was good.The first night qaa ruff as the guest next to us were up all night. Kept us up most of the night. The pillows were so unconfortable the first night they were totally flat. It was not a good rest. The second night was way better as we got extra pillows and tjere was no noise at all so we were well rested.

The restraunt food. My food was to over fried(burn). Taste bitter.

Beautiful hotel, an old historic building. Our room was clean, comfy, spacious. Bathroom was great, everything we needed was supplied. Lovely grounds with seating in a central area. We relaxed in the evening on the couches with the patio fire beside us. It was a calm and peaceful setting. The staff were very nice, the security guys moved the heater nearer to us without us even requesting it.

No room service, but we ordered uber eats and had it delivered to the patio area. Parking a little limited at the weekend.

The hotel was absolutely stunning and had so much character and charm. It was wonderful reading about the history of the place and then experiencing it as you walked around. The room itself was sparklingly clean and beautifully appointed. I was extremely impressed.

The woman at the front desk upon check-in was a bit brusque. However, the woman who handled our check-out process thoroughly made up for it.

The staff were all nice and professional. The dinner we had was very good and not too pricy.

There were about 6-8 drunk guests in the pool in the early hours of the morning that woke up my 2 kids and I up for a couple hours. Did not see any attempt from staff to tell them to leave so that was a little frustrating.

The rooms and lobby of this place are so well decorated, very cute and very clean. The staff was so kind and cherry upon checkin. We went to the pool and it was nice to have a pool where you can actually sit in the chairs and not have to pay for them like some of the other hotels. 10/10 stay here again

Nice room and bath room. Clean and modern.

Only had two kurig pods for coffee and tea! Wish there were several to chose from! Also ceramic mugs would have been nicer than cheap plastic cups! Bathroom: no accessories like shower cap, etc Free Bottled waters in room would have been nice! Heater in room did not work

It was easy to find as it was a really nice building. The place looked beautiful. I also liked the restaurant that’s in the middle of the property I highly recommend the ember burger!!

I was a little confused when I first got there I did not know where the check in would be.

I loved the location and just the environment of this building because it is in a nice neighborhood I almost thought I got lost because it was between houses/apartments.

we came in from the side so the entrance was a lil hard to find . I honestly didn’t see any directions or maps for main office but I did find it eventually.
