The room was clean, but the bathroom seemed tired. It was close to Mesa Verde and restaurants. The staff was friendly. If you're use to a 5-star hotel, then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a place to stay with a friendly staff, clean rooms and a low price, then this is it.

Bathroom was a bit tired. The bathroom window was cracked. There were band-aids over the crack. Not sure if they were there to secure the crack or some lazy customer couldn't put them in the trash. Either way, the band-aids should be removed and, perhaps, the window replaced or, at least, transparent tape placed over the crack.

thumbs up: new flooring, new paint, new bedding.

thumbs down: only one luggage rack for 2 guests, no closet or place to hang clothing, jackets, etc., no place to put luggage or bags except on the floor, no place to hang towels. new blinds do not fit window and let in light from the new flood light that is lighting the parking area all night - need curtains. also, old property management used to provide rags for use for odd needs, those are gone and should be brought back.

This place has been updated in a “lodge” style and it’s cute. A little slapdash around the corners but the price of your stay is commiserate with the facilities. Folks were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of super soft towels in the bathroom and the hot water is plentiful. Walls are a bit thin but that’s a motel for you. Overall it’s exactly what I expected. Check out the Mexican place a couple doors down it’s great!

Good location, close to Mesa Verde. Quiet and walking distance to exceptional Mexican food restaurant. Good value for the price. Good, comfortable beds and decent place to stay. Staff honest and helpful.

Emailed ahead of time for a roll-away ( as advertised on the booking.com website) as added guests. Booking. com was supposed to answer but no one did so got a big surprise that there are no roll aways. So had to book another room. Thankfully, there were vacancies but it was an added cost i wasn't prepared for.

Good price, everything was clean, friendly staff. Overall nice stay! Got to experience Mesa Verde, so it was a great opportunity.

Around 2am someone came in w their truck and honked very loudly several times. The second night at 4am people were speaking loudly outside our room.

This was a clean and comfortable place to stay and a very good value motel. The desk clerk was very friendly and the owner was super nice, even offering me a free breakfast at her other hotel just up the road. I would definitely stay there again.

First of all the price for the room. The room is clean and the bed was comfortable. Also the room was nice and warm when I got there and it was late in the evening. It cute place. Oh. I didn't realize the front office close early in the evening I was still on the road at 9 pm, forget front desk clerk name, but she was nice enough to call me and of where she going to put my room key w/code number. If due have any issue just go to room 1. Thank you to her.

Was to happy with TV or cable. It was a little blurry. Beside I really didn't watch TV anyway, It was late and I was tried from all day driving.

I have stayed here several times before and it has always been a good value. Recently, they have given the property a bit of a face-lift and it feels very clean and fresh. Also, the coffee was excellent.

I prefer to sleep in a cool room and thought that would be no problem with outside temps near freezing. But the room was quite warm. Luckily there was also a cooling unit in the room, which helped.

This was like home, a true MOTEL, like ones I've stayed in, in years past. Clean, everything worked, & I still REALLY like being able to back my car up outside my own door. Hotel manager was great, and everything was just NICE. A total PLEASURE.
