I like staying at the Suites by Marriott when I travel because you basically know what to expect. I like pillows, and a lot of them. The spacious rooms are a plus, breakfast included is always appreciated, and they are clean.

The hotel must have had renovations to the bathroom configuration. I was fine for two out of the four nights, however, a couple stayed in the suite next to mine and I could hear EVERY word they were saying in the connecting bathrooms. I closed both doors in hopes of not sharing in their conversation. I'm sure this was a one-time situation, if not, I would suggest a little more of a noise barrier between suites.

Breakfast was good. TV channel options were good. We liked the separate toilet and shower area. Modern hotel. Clean, nice and well-located. Traveled with friends with a small child so having the suite set up was nice. I slept on the sleeper sofa in the sitting area.

We used the sleeper sofa...would have appreciated having pillows in the room without having to call for them. Also the sheet for the sleeper sofa didn't fit it so that was awkward. and the blanket was a bit paltry and thin. I would suggest putting a sturdier blanket in the closet.

Location & Breakfast

The rooms were noisy - Street noise, homeless talking loudly all night from outside. Hard to find the front door which is located under the drive through parking. Walked the perimeter of the building until we found it.

I really love the unique design of the rooms.

They should have disclosed the $11 plus tax fee for parking. I figure if I am paying $200 for a room, parking should be free, and if it isn’t, please let me know when I check in. I also wished there were stairs which gave access to the lobby so I didn’t need to take the elevator every time.

First time in Grand Junction and I planned to do more sightseeing. However, after two days of lots of driving, I wasn’t feeling great. The hotel’s location made any more driving unnecessary! Located along a cute stretch of shops and restaurants and surrounded by public art, the hotel was a great home base, and I enjoyed Grand Junction a different way than planned! Note: some shops and restaurants weren’t open on Sundays, at least not during the pandemic.

Great location, walking distance from many fun places downtown. Comfortable bed and nice room layout.

Lobby a tad off-smelling… not sure what it was… but it was subtle and ignorable.

The bed and pillows were comfortable; in room coffee very drinkable; good separation of sofa bed, if needed.

It would have been nice to have real creamer in the room, but I snagged some from downstairs, so all was good. The main thing I didn't like was the streetlight in the parking lot that was incredibly bright and cast it's light into my room. I'm not a fan of blackout curtains, as it makes it harder to wake in the morning, but those were provided.

We like the "feel" of the hotel.

The hot food selection at breakfast was a little disappointing. It was better last year.

I really like how this hotel is updated, clean and comfortable. It was so easy to walk in the room and immediately feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, I liked how the employees from the front desk to the breakfast attendant were all very polite and helpful.

I loved everything.

The hotel and rooms are well designed, it is on Main St with great shops and restaurants. The desk in the room was used for a half day of work and Zoom meetings and it was spacious and well lit. Staff is cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was very good except for plastic cutlery which breaks. Go back to stainless and real plates. The parking is safe and reasonable at $7 a night. Very, very clean hotel.
