5-star treatment by all of the staff, from the front desk hostess who warmly greeted us, to the breakfast staff who were genuinely friendly and professional, to the cleaning and maintenance staff and the welcoming lady who treated us to a complimentary glass of wine our first evening there. It seems people thoroughly enjoy working there because they all seemed happy. We love to see that. So whatever management is doing, keep it up!

This is actually more of a "What we found exceptional": Original room smelled like smoke. We reported this to the front desk and hostess right away. She IMMEDIATELY responded with us to the room and promptly, got us settled into a nearby room with the help of one of your maintenance crew members.

The property was gorgeous, and the grounds and room were clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful, and even found us a room for an additional night, which lucky for us was probably the best room in the hotel! From a free glass of wine at happy hour to lovely service at their restaurants and super friendly, helpful staff, I can’t say enough about out how relaxing and wonderful this place was. We already want to return!

The only thing I can find to say is it would have been great if there was a gluten free option at breakfast. But hey-free breakfast also so can’t complain. My husband loved it!

IT WAS REALLY HOT.....so having a pool is great. They were redoing the hot tub, so getting by the hot tub construction was difficult. The rooms were nice, very old fashioned traditional décor, but quiet and clean. We found the air-conditioner a bit loud, but it worked great. Breakfast was good, since there are very few options in Palisade, this is a really nice thing to have in the hotel. We went to Grand River Concert on Saturday night to see Hazel Miller...and it was wonderful! Having the hotel right next door was fantastic. Will go back again.

Our room was quiet and comfortable with great bed, and chairs for sitting, fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. It was easily accessible to the main lobby and breakfast room. The lovely courtyard with beautiful pool was a great spot for morning coffee or breakfast or afternoon visiting, with wicker sofas and rocking chairs. The hotel breakfast was unusually good for an included hotel breakfast, with a different special dish each morning and plenty of fresh fruit, and the coffee was very good!

The attached restaurant, Caroline's, was disappointing. Two of our four entrees, which were the same, were very good but the others were marginal. The service was very poor. It seems that the wait staff is needing some training, The ambiance of the room is not warm and inviting as one would hope. The acoustics of the room are poor and comfortable dinner conversation at our table for four was difficult.

Everything was delightful! The staff, especially Liam and Dakota were extremely helpful and friendly! The breakfasts that we ate there were incredible! Can't rave about this hotel enough, the scenery was awe-inspiring, great location with easy access to the freeway and main street in Palisade, CO. Just a delightful place to rest and recuperate after the beautiful drives through the Colorado "western slope" countryside. Nothing is perfect but the Wine Country Inn comes as close to it as I've ever experienced. Definitely recommend.

Can't think of a thing!

The property was beautiful! Surrounded by grapevines, roses and beautiful well maintained flowers. The pool was clean and covered at night. The breakfast was delicious, the staff pleasant. The wine bar at 5 PM was also wonderful. After getting a glass of wine you would sit outside and relax while enjoying the beautiful flowers and pool.

There was nothing to dislike.. staff was great! Property beautiful.

The breakfast was very good. I had the burrito and scrambled eggs with vegetables, tomato and spinach. I also had fresh fruit, pineapple. Front desk staff was especially helpful. One of the workers, Brooke went above and beyond by helping my friend reset his new Apple IPhone. Also loved the location and the surrounding bluffs. The bed was very comfortable.

The air conditioning was too cold and the thermostat wasn’t as user friendly as others I’ve used.

property is often described as luxury at an affordable price and this probably sums it up pretty well. very comfortable spacious room with one of the most comfortable beds ( super king I think) that we have encountered in a hotel in a long time. Really nice public areas, pretty gardens and a super central pool area. Food and wine offerings were very good and reasonably priced for the quality. Complimentary glass of house wine was a nice touch. Staff all very friendly and professional. The hotel is right by the Interstate, very easy to access but it’s very clever design and layout means that yo7 never know how close the road is. Fantastic views and easy access to the town.

I know it is trying to be faithful to the “old country inn” look but perhaps the interior could go for a lighter style of decor without compromising on this worthy aim.

The room was large and comfortable, the hotel is spotless, the pool is cleaned every morning. The front desk staff are knowledge about the area and the goings on in town they had great recommendations. Breakfast is pretty good too.

The pillows are small and square. My room didn't have a safe. The black out curtains don't block the sun out. You have to sign a form that says you can NOT smoke Mary Jane anywhere on the property. Or be fined. So we would have to take a long walk. I didn't like the menu at Caroline's restaurant on property

Staff was wonderful - very welcoming and helpful. Beds were comfortable. View of the mesa was amazing! Location was great, right off the freeway on our way west to Utah. Two restaurants available was a nice bonus, so we didn't have to leave after checking in that evening. Free breakfast was terrific and definitely added to the value of our experience! We would certainly stay at the Wine Country Inn again.

The furniture and decor is perhaps a little dated, but it fits with the age and vibe of the inn.
