Opted for a one bedroom unit which was quite spacious. Very warm - had a gas fireplace and central heating. Fronted the highway but door & window appeared triple glazed so no traffic noise whatsoever. Comfy chairs. Very well stocked with kitchen utensils and such (even an ice machine in the freezer!). There is a leaflet on the coffee table with extra kitchen items you could borrow at no extra cost. (I got a kettle as there was only a coffee machine.) There is a supermarket run at 5.45pm each day but it needs to be requested. Didn't use it but thought I would mention. Bus stop (Vail Run) to ski field just outside which was very convenient. Overall a great, comfortable stay. They valued your privacy and didn't bother you at all.

Not exactly related to Vail Run Resort but there is a pizza place on the bottom floor of the building. Beware they overcharge! (i.e. build in the cost of the tip) so don't bother putting anything in the tip jar. Sorry but we're Australian and like to have the option, but it is America so I guess you have to go with the flow. BTW the pizzas/salads etc are quite good. Enjoy!

Our room was HUGE: it had all the facilities needed, including a full kitchen, 70' Screen TV on the Living Room and also in the bedrooms, comfortable beds in bathrooms with hot shower. Great set up also, with 2 floors overlooking the slopes. The Jacuzzi is a great place to relax and the heated outdoor pool also great to relax and spend time at. All the Staff is awesome, always available and cordial, from the Shuttle Drivers (Juan & Jeremy) to the Front Desk Staff, great people!

Better Blackouts in the Apartment: there is a higher window that would be good to have a black out too, above the Fireplace. If possible also add more options to block the noisy from the I-70: as the property is closer to it, you can hear some of the road traffice noise.

Comfortable, had full kitchen with everything we’d need. Shower was updated and has very nice shower head.

The blind on the bedroom window that faced the interior hallway was placed on the outside of window frame so there was 1.5/2 inches space where light can come in or someone could potentially look in. We put up a blanket to block the opening. A blind installed in this location on a window is basically useless. I would reinstall in the correct location inside the window frame. Parking was odd not having an entrance to the building from the lot and having to walk up the ramp.

Very helpful staff. Ease of checkin and check out. Location

Would have been nice if fireplace had been working but we understand that parts were being ordered.

Wish there was an outside hot tub. The quality of the towels in pool area was not good. The images of the unit were generic and we had no idea there would be three twins in the second bedroom and we didn't know there was only one shower for a unit that potentially slept 8. Loved the extra space in the main living area of the unit. Loved that we would see fireworks from the balcony. Great shuttle service and quality drivers. Very helpful and friendly staff including cleaning staff. They were able to let us in a little early as we got there ahead of our expected time. Good price.

The one-bedroom was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Lots of closet space and hooks and clothes hangers. The shuttle to Lionshead was convenient. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool but they looked nicely maintained. The pizza restaurant on the basement level was really good. Everybody was very friendly. They really make your ski experience easy with the shuttle, ski locker and luggage storage if you ski after checkout.

The shuttle schedule to get back to the apartment wasn’t clear. Apparently the driver and the front desk takes lunch at noon. We found this out from a timeshare owner who was waiting for the shuttle. I guess we were supposed to get information about this, wifi password (?) and pool hours but this wasn’t included in the goody bag. This was just a minor inconvenience and didn’t affect our stay. The detergent used for the sheets and towels was fragrant and we both ended up reacting with nasal allergies.

Spotless property with personality! Very pleasant welcome at check-in with a goody bag including coffee and hot chocolate. Spacious room, tidy and well-maintained, fully stocked kitchen. I love the decor in the common areas, the herbs and tomato plants and statues, skylights, library, pool. The whole vibe is comfortable and a little quirky, in a good way. It feels like a place people return to every year and care about.

I selected a loft apartment, which was fantastic and enormous! But there is no air conditioning, which could be an issue in the summer if it's hot. Windows can be opened and there is a fan to push some cool air up to the loft where the beds are. It was fine in early Sept, night temps in the high 40s, I just opened windows downstairs.

I had a great stay here at the Vail Run Resort, and would definitely return. If you don't mind some outdated aesthetics, want a kitchenette, a pool, and plenty of convenience, this spot is for you. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I loved having access to both the local Vail bus route and the private VRR shuttle. This resort is also very close to Safeway and other shops. For everything that you get from staying here, you can't beat the price in this area.

I love the open concept in the center of this clean resort. The apartment is stocked with supplies and has a fireplace! The resort has a great hot tub, sauna, and swim out pool. The shuttle takes you to Grocery, Lionshead, and Vail Village. The staff was so kind and helpful. Great pizza, yoga, massage, beauty shop, laundry, and game room. If we ever get the chance to go to Vail again, we will definitely stay at Vail Run again.

I can't think of anything.

The resort has all the amenities to have a perfect ski vacation. The rooms are huge and have very comfortable beds. Lots of closet space and well equipped kitchen. The outdoor pool was so fun to use while snowing and the hot tub and sauna were perfect in the evening. Not crowded and plenty of space on the shuttle.

There was a little mishap with the shuttle transportation after regularly scheduled hours. They eventually picked us up where it was needed.
