We liked the cool guy who checked us in quickly. We liked the room size and the daily clean towels. We especially liked the two sinks, one in and one outside the bathroom door. We enjoyed the hot tub in the gazebo. We appreciate the enclosed patio pool and were were glad to have a balcony inside the enclosed pool since the weekend was rainy and cold. In nice weather I am not so sure we'd appreciate the first or second level. We enjoyed the hot tub especially because the beach was not an option due to the weather.

The first night several inconsiderate people got in the pool from 1am to 2 am. And the loud, echoing bang of the gate each time a person went through it sounded like construction or deconstruction was going on. I realized what the sound was the next day when I went through the gate. We didn't like that coffee is not provided in the room. We waited for the Kafe to open to buy cups of coffee and juice. We overlooked the coffee available in the lobby. Only noticed it was there when checking out. 🤪 The last morning we noticed a gasping hole the hot tub seat, creating a geiser. It was not like that the previous day we had used it. This will need to be inspected/repaired! Also, the knob had been pulled off one the right side timer.

So we booked through booking.com, we didn't know they had economy rooms. We got there late but the ladies are so nice in the office the very next morning she upgraded our room. Not sure that would happen late June or July because of vacancy. She was awesome and I know how to book next time. Would go back knowing how to book next time.

No outdoor pool, no hot tub and no slide but hey it's early in the season and they were working on it and kept all the facilities clean and took care of us with no problems. I will Def go back! Everyone was friendly!

Room 125 was quiet and great by the indoor pool and kafe (when it was open...only able to use it for breakfast Saturday morning...and it was delicious). Thank you for the towel gift...my grandson loved it...I like that everyone you talked to have been coming back to revisit the Lodge for many years...I too have been back and will continue...Love your strict policies...thank you very much Phil Mikalik

It didn't seem like the floor was swept very good...the room and sheets were very nice...bed was comfortable...I think I killed one little spider and another type bug...don't know what it was... I don't like that coffee is not available in lobby earlier...I am an early riser

Sun Viking Lodge is located right on the beach. Beautiful view with quick access to Florida's beach. The hotel had both a hot tub and a heated swimming pool. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and grocery centers.

This is my favorite place to stay while on vacation in Daytona. The only thing I don’t particularly like about the hotel is how thin the walls are. You can hear your neighbors talking. However, it is not super bad.

Location was great! It was on the beach with access close by. There were several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff and other guests were extremely friendly and even though it was race week before the 500, it wasn't crazy!!!

I wish there were coffee pots in the room instead of having to go to the office for the community pot. It would have been thoughtful if management or Booking had let people know the pool and direct beach access had been destroyed by the hurricanes.

The room was very spacious and offered everything that we needed. The View from the balcony was excellent. I liked it that it had a cafe on the premise although they closed up earlier than was stated on their menu.

The only disappointment was that the outdoor pool was empty when we arrived and we were not made aware of that through the third party that booked our room. There was, however , a very nice indoor pool

The property is great we are a group that are regulars at the sunviking but I guess the new management don’t like to return messages

Management doesn’t return calls and is not honoring us as a group of many stays is raising the price of stay ridiculously

Clean,spacious very accommodating wonderful staff an close to everything. Kids loved the play area an basketball area also. Kitchenette was bouns!!! Parking was amazing compared to where other family members stayed. Again amazing place staff is even more amazing !!!

Price !!! But was expected with a local huge event (Rockville) that week. Was a last minute emergency booking to get away from Roach motel (literally) !!! Place is amazing wish we would of found this before we booked Roach motel. Again major event they had the room an was worth it.

The Staff was very friendly, Desiree was so very kind and helpful to me and my family. The room we booked had so much room to spare, the accommodations were more than I would have expected at home. The pools were great. The hot tub was outstanding. The hotel was right on the beach, it wasn't crowded. We had a fantastic stay. Will come again soon.

Great location, wonderful views, clean and comfortable room, option for family room which many places don't offer Awesome to have a heated indoor pool and a hot tub, both operational while they fix the hurricane damaged pool and slide

Bit tired and dated overall Nothing on website about pool and slide not being operational. Totally understand why it's broken and common along the beach here with sever storm damage, but some other resorts state the damage on their website so you know what you're coming to
