the location is amazing and surrounded by fun things to do and great places to eat. beach staff is amazing and work their butts off.

we arrived at 11am after being told we could check in early. we drove 12 hours straight. we got there and Booking.com messed up our reservation so we didn’t have a room available. the staff kindly got us a room booked but we never got to check in until 4:30 which is 30 minutes later than regular check in. they wouldn’t discount anything or comp a breakfast or anything for the inconvenience. the girls at the front desk were very nice and sweet and really tried to make the best of it for us. I’ve stayed there twice now and am never disappointed so I will definitely come back.

Right on the beach. Beautiful peaceful relaxing from the hotel room to the walk through garden and jacuzzi pool. And 35$ for the reclining beach chairs and umbrella for the whole day well worth it.

They would not let us check in early. My spouse has medical issues and needed to rest. I offered to pay extra and they said nope! It was his last chance to see the ocean before his transplant surgery. I wish it wasn't such a rocky start to our trip. I know a lot of people ask to check in early but I feel you could have let us pay an extra fee instead we sat in the car for 4 hours. That's not ok. Also the front desk staff were just plain rude.

The beach was not crowded due to the location. You could look a little way down the beach where the hotels are closer and the beach and water was extremely crowded. Also liked the close proximity to the pier. The facility is definitely older but our room looked like it had been updated fairly recently, and was very clean.

I don't know if it's like this at other hotels, but there was no free continental breakfast. There was a breakfast buffet for $15 a person. We didn't ever go in and eat it because it was annoying that a free breakfast wasn't offered. Also, the chairs and umbrellas that were set up daily for rent....I think it would be better if they did 2 rows rather than take up the majority of the beach, since those of us that bring our own equipment aren't allowed to set up in front of those chairs. There was definitely a language barrier with the housekeeping staff we encountered, so that made things tricky. They did a good job, just wish they knew a few basic words to help communication.

The location was perfect! Near the pier with a section of beach not taken up by rows of rentable chairs & umbrellas (the cost of those, I understand were $35 a day - reasonable; but too close together for my tastes). We brought a beach tent which we set up in the open area & had more privacy.

The rooms weren't super clean. Going barefoot in the rooms made our feet black. Also, there was no fitted sheet on the beds which meant every morning the covers were a mess.

Loved the beach access, pools, courtyard area and the close proximity to almost everything! The room had plenty of space and the walk in closet was an awesome surprise! The lobby staff and bartender were terrific.

The only downside was the length of time it took housekeeping to bring us anything. We asked for an extra blanket.. it took 3 hours. We asked for towels bc we were out of clean towels and we were already sleeping when they finally brought them.

The location on the beach by the pier was awesome! Easy and close access to beach from hotel. The breakfast buffet was always delicious and had a good variety of food.. Rooms were clean and beds were extremely comfortable.

The restaurant was not serving lunch or dinner during our stay. The pool was hardly used. The water was to cold and not enough lounge chairs. Beach towels were suppose to be available but they never had them out.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms in the beach tower have an amazing view. The two restaurants were very good, although pricy. Beach access was great!

The two pools and the hot tub were always packed with kids. Better for families than couples. When the hot tub was vacant, it looked too dirty to use.The worst part was breakfast, $19 a person for a very small buffet of mid food. Skip the breakfast and go to Dempsey's or the outdoor bar.
