Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The layout was excellent, from a shower and toilet separated from the vanity by a door, to the room itself with a full-size couch, dinette/desk table for two, attractive area rugs, and other well-designed furniture, to the large balcony with a glass outer wall, two chairs (one a rocker) and a small cocktail table for enjoying the view, especially sunsets over the water. The property is a medium-sized resort with all the large resort amenities: pool, beach, water sports, spa, evening flame-lit fire pits and torches, etc. There were hundreds of lounge chairs, and extensive shade provided by umbrellas and tiki huts. The restaurants were superb- food, decor and views. The menu choices and presentation and taste of the food were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night, four-day mini-vacation.

Room 401 was excellent, size and cleanliness. However, the water pressure wasn’t that good. The waterfront view was outstanding. Loved the pool; Flippers cafe, (Carlos was great). Dined twice at Gus’s Grille; much better food than the “high end” Calusa’s. Gus’s should go on ‘Open Table’ to get its name in the mix. Front desk was always courteous and helpful; Luz was Ms. Efficiency. Jessica was excellent. Lulu was the best housekeeper my wife and I ever had.

I mentioned the low water pressure. We ordered one breakfast in the room. It came late, and cold. Some of the parking spaces were difficult to navigate.

We went here for our 34th wedding anniversary. You never have to leave the resort unless you want too. Its a small beach but all beaches are small on the keys. Large property with plenty to do. Water sports activities right on location. Lunch at the pool with a pina colada is what relaxing is all about.

Its not cheap. Only issue with staff was a rude older woman at the Grill restaurant Thursday morning. She was the hostess and told us not to expect fast service as soon as she saw us. When we waited for a while after we ate to leave my wife simply asked her, "are we good to go? Did you get our room number?" She yelled out loud, "where do you think you can go and not pay?" Then yelled to the waiter that we were going to leave without paying. Does not ruin the trip but not all should be in the hospitality business.

Gorgeous beachfront layout with plenty of pool & beach chairs and lots of clusters of chairs/hammocks for little family gatherings. Especially lovely at night/sunset, with the strung lights and gas lamps and firepits! Kind & helpful staff! Had a stellar massage at the spa! In-room coffeemaker was appreciated! Food at Gus’ was good to great—lobster bisque & conch fritters were dreamy! Thank you for the kids menu for our picky eater! And basketball & volleyball for the kids. Bar service at pool was also fabulous! We loved our stay!!

One bathroom hook?! It was laughable. We were a family of 4 with 4 shower towels and wet swimwear with nowhere to hang it every day. Please install 4+ hooks!

The views were beautiful & easy access to everything because it was a smaller scale resort. Food was fantastic everywhere we ordered!!!! All of the serving staff was friendly & helpful!

The prices for food & drinks was crazy high. Did not expect that. Check in was noisy & clerk talked too fast & room was not ready for hours (and I gave them my ETA, per their request)! Shower could use more pressure, but room was very nice & clean otherwise. Bathrooms poolside were messy & 1 door did not lock!

Room was comfortable In the pool the service was good

The cleaning of exteriors is regular, the doors of the room are dirty, the floor of the corridors are dirty; also for the price of the hotel, the cleaning of the restaurant where we have breakfast is bad; the doors, windows, tables , and floors were dirty. The handle to open the room does not work, more than 10 minutes to be able to enter the room, finally I had to go to the front desk for solution.

We loved the view, we could admire every morning the bay view from our room. The staff is very polite and very efficient, minimal intrusion and interference, the pleasure of vacation is henceforth enhanced. Multiple choices to spend your time, fitness room, games area, beach sports, pool, various rentals.

The prices of food are surprinsingly high, that puts some pressure on the budget.

Overall vibe is great, with the pool being the center focus. Very clean, always loads of fresh towels, and even though the place was quite full, there was always plenty of space around the pool. We basically camped out there, had our meals there, etc. The beachfront is right there, making the sunsets beautiful every single night.

The place offers sheltered parking, but the underground level is very small, very hard to get in and out of the parking unless you're in a mini. You can simply park outside, it's much easier but the car will be in the sun for the entire day.

The staff was excellent, Carlos and Miguel (bartenders at the pool) were PHENOMENAL!The pool and beach access was perfect, best of both worlds... we could sit and relax by the pool and take a dip in the ocean within minutes. Accommodating for children and adults! Perfect resort!

All of the restaurants on the resort campus had the same menu for the most part, just wish there were different options. But honestly, this was to be expected. Cannot complain!

Loved everything: very clean room, great view, beach is small but functional, free covered parking, food at the restaurant is excellent, staff is great, the room key bracelets are so convenient. Marlon, a server at Gus’ Grill was friendly and very pleasant.

One server at Gus’ Grill named Floyd was extremely rude and scolded me for not tipping him enough. Pointing it out that it should be at least 18%. He is not even professional, we saw him talking down to his fellow employees.
