- location (close to the beach, groceries, public transportation) - staff friendliness and helpfulness - rooms/bathrooms clean and comfy - beach equipment (sunbeds, towels) available free of charge

- rooms in front of the street very noisy - breakfasts monotonous and with little choice - not to many restaurants in the area - smell of damp (the carpets?)

I actually at stayed at the VENEZIA HOTEL @ 3865 Indian Creek Drive (see "didn't like" comment) so my review is about the VENEZIA Hotel rather than the L Hotel. Beautifully decorated, clean hotel with friendly and professional staff. I appreciated the ample towels, comfortable bed and quietness for night time sleeping. I had a corner room with double windows which gave me the sunshine that I like. The complimentary breakfast was perfect as I sat outside under an umbrella table to enjoy the breezes. There is also rooftop deck where one can chill and/or work remotely. The WIFI was great too. A bus stop and trolley stop (free) is across the street so that one could visit South Beach or the Miami area.

I actually stayed at the VENEZIA HOTEL!!! Upon arrival to the L Hotel I read a sign dated 7/13/2022 that the hotel was CLOSED under renovation and to go to their sister property, Venezia Hotel, about 3 blocks away. Walking in that searing sunshine with my luggage was something that I had not mentally prepared for. Venezia Hotel staff were nice and professional as they told me the property had notified its third party bookers mid July so that it could be communicated to customers. I never received a Booking.com notice re the change whereby advance notice would have appreciated. There is only a bathroom mirror in the room which isn't enough. Floor length mirrors line the hallway when they should have been placed inside the rooms instead.

The location was very good. 2 blocks from the beach, near open air restaurants, close to the Fountainbleau Hotel which has many great restaurants and easy public transportation such as buses and a series of free trolleys. The Hotel is a small boutique hotel and the owners are very nice as well. The bed was very comfortable.

The rooms are a bit small but we figured out how to maximize. It would have been nice to have a bureau or piece of furniture with drawers for our clothes. The furniture that was in the room was wide and had a very nice TV on top but only have 4 drawers across - hardly enough for 2 people to use for their clothing. The closet was also small for 2 guests. Also - the room was made up every 2 days not the usual every day but that was not a problem for us.

Our stay at L Hotel was pretty good. The resort fee covers beach towels, and vouchers for chairs and umbrellas at the beach. The breakfast was okay (no eggs, though), but service was great. No complains about the room.

The breakfast is a little limited. There was a humid smell at times in the second floor, likely because of the carpet getting wet. Due to the amount of items in the mini-bar, there was not a lot of space to store other items. No microwave.

A nice very clean hotel really close to the beach with kind employees (at front desk and breakfast counter)

Beware of the rooms on the ground floor as they can be sometimes noisy due to people coming in and out. After having that experience on the first night I asked for a change of rooms and the receptionist did not hesitate to find me another one, much better placed on the third floor overlooking Ocean Creek Dr.// As a tip to the hotel a full full length mirror in the room would have been useful.

The location was great and near Miami Beach. They lent us beach towels, and we had access to chairs and umbrellas at the beach (so nice!). The room was very modern and comfortable. The staff was kind. Also, greatly appreciated the courtesy water in the lobby and the breakfast with coffee was tasty. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Miami.

The walls were a bit thin, and we had some noisy neighbors come in at 6 am (although we know the noisy neighbors are not the fault of the hotel).

We only stayed one night at the property before flying out the next morning. I thought it was very clean and the staff were friendly. Providing access to beach towels, chairs and an umbrella was a nice touch in the price.

There was no parking on site so we had to pay separately for that and walk a bit to get it. The room was nice but we were only provided with a sheet on our bed (very thin sheet) so I was freezing in the night. Yes, it’s Miami, but hotels rooms get cold so having a blanket is still welcomed, even if in the closet in case it’s needed. I thought it was also a bit over priced for what it was when there are other properties nearby for only a little bit more that offer a ton of amenities like a pool and many bars and dining options directly on the property.

The hotel is near the beach. Two chairs and one umbrella for staying at the beach is included.

1. There is not much choice for the breakfast. 2. The power of the hair dryer is not enough. (extremely weak and take hours for hair to be dried.) We check the labels on the hair dryer and find out it is suitable for 220V and the plug is not even American plug. That hair dryer looks directly take from China. It has Chinese plug. Although 220V electronics can be used by 110-120V (American voltage) without explosion, the power of it cannot reach its maximum. The hotel really should consider buying the hair dryers that can accommodate the American voltage (110-120V)!! It’s not that expensive.

We had a corner room very spacious nice kitchenette, fridge and sink. Room had been redone recently painted carpeted and bathroom tiles were new mostly the grey motif Staff was nice. We got free towels and chairs and umbrellas at the beach so convenient. Great area. Little garden out on the side shady. Soap was rose scented very lovely. Breakfast was fine. This hotel is only 3 floors good if one doesn’t use elevator on Shabbos. Coffee, tea, apple sauce, peanut butter and cornflakes were kosher.

A microwave in our room would’ve been nice

Nice and clean hotel. Room had a decent size. Staff was mostly friendly. Good location in mid beach but a 5 minute walk to the beach and they provide you with towels and a voucher for sun loungers with umbrella that was definitely a big plus.

Breakfast was very disappointing, in general but even more so for us as vegans. Staff didn’t really know what was in the bagels, etc.
