Ignore the over the top American bad comments here. The photos are exactly what it is like!! The rooms are a perfect size (large). Large beds. The staff are over the top friendly which is so nice, but would you expect in anything less in Orlando. The location is perfect. A regular free shuttle from the door of hotel to city walk is perfect. It is also a gorgeous 20min walk along the water to the resort. Rooftop bar is a nice touch to watch sunset and storms. We were on the 14th floor and could see all the rollercoaster rides. loved it and will return.

Clean, friendly, great location for what we wanted. Parking. Modern. Lovely staff, I will mention especially Stefanie at check in and later Greg at reception. Proper hairdryer in the room 👍 Fab views from the rooftop at night. Quick elevators. Free & easy transport to Universal Citywalk and parks. We had a room on top floor so had great view across to the parks. Felt nice and spacious and no problem getting a bed around the pool.

Not really our hotel, but mentioning it as guests are able to use the neighbouring facilities at sister hotels : If we had been told that it costs $15pp to rent a rubber ring to use the lazy river across at The Cabana resort, we would not have bothered wasting time walking there. Ok, ring maybe not needed for everyone but in a 3ft pool it would have been a better experience. The pool area at Aventura was much nicer and more relaxing in our opinion. Aventura: Separate lighting for the sink area would be good. Breakfast was a bit confusing so took a bit to figure out how it works but food in general was good. Had a problem with keycards not working but Greg called maintenance who sorted it. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would have been happy to stay longer.

Really a great option if you want to stay on the Universal Studios property and get early park admission (which was one of the big reasons we looked at hotels on the property). It was much cheaper than the hotels closer to the park entrance, and only a short shuttle bus or water taxi ride to the parks (we liked the water taxi, which goes to the Sapphire hotel next door). The room was very clean, hip and comfortable; the pool was excellent and not too crowded (and the hot tub felt great after a long day at the parks); and the breakfast and food options were just right. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I really don't have much to complain about - maybe add some Orlando-area beer options at the Bar Sol?

This was the perfect hotel for our first Universal experience. It was a reasonable price for the facilities offered. It gave us easy access to the parks and all the perks, such as early access to the parks , water taxi access and being able to pool hop around the other hotel pools. And we loved the city walk to and from the parks, when we didn’t take the water taxi. It was modern and cleaning looking. The pool area was lovely too but some of the sun loungers looked broken and there wasn’t enough shade. We liked the text service we got from reception.

The amount of wastage - paper cups, plates, cutlery, pizza boxes etc was alarming. We had new paper cups every day in the room for a morning coffee. And every morning we had to open them out of plastic and then open another amount of plastic, paper to get a single stirrer to remove tea/coffee bags from our cups. If we had known we would have brought our own. The lifts always had big queues in the afternoons/early evening - 2 were broken most of the time we were there. There wasn’t enough storage space for 3 adults - we were staying 11 nights. Why do the bedside tables have only 1 very small draw? Also not enough space to hang swim wear to dry out - needed double the space.

The hotel is very modern, complete with little service robots! It was close to the parks and accessible to the other hotels facilities which was a big bonus! The Aventuras on-site restaurant served delicious noodles. The roof top bar was lovely although a little expensive for drinks (good for a treat though). The panoramic views were fab! The shuttle bus outside the hotel is free and frequent - another bonus. The water taxi is offered to Aventura guests from the hotel next door (again free of charge) There were less children staying at the Aventura as nearby hotels seemed to offered more in the way of facilities to them. Overall a great hotel - would recommend and would stay there again.

There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like about my stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel suited us really well.

Location easy to get to the parks buses were frequent. Volcano Bay was less than a five min walk. The roof top bar offered a nice place to eat and drink DJ at weekends with excellent views and no age restrictions for entry. Eating facilities in the lobby were good too.

A small issue not enough hooks to hang wet towels, swimwear. Also paid for a view of the three parks but our room was only on floor 7 so not such a good view. Get a higher floor to get a better view but you may be disturbed by the roof top party at weekends. Would definitely stay there again.

Modern clean rooms, pool area, close to Volcano bay. Next door to Sapphire Falls for the water taxi to City Walk. Good selection of food, refillable mugs available. Free bus transportation to City Walk.

Can’t think of any negative points for this resort. We had a 7 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Check in staff at the front desk, Lisa was very friendly and helpful. Blue Bus from hotel to Universal studio was a big plus for families with younger children. Luggage was well taken care of by Michael who was also so friendly.

Was granted a conjunction room by the front desk first, but ended up with rooms crossed. I was not aware until I knocked on the conjunction door to find my neighbor was other guests. Whoever assigned the rooms for us ought to know that even or odd # of rooms will be connected. Not the serial numbers. 😂. I didn't ask to change rooms because we are all very tired from rides in Universal Studios..

I liked the late hours for the Pantry. We used in 2-3 times when returning from the convention center. I liked being able to purchase tickets for Universal on site. I liked being able to text to ask quick questions. I liked walking across the street to catch the water taxi and taking the shuttle to the park. It was all clean and efficient. The parking garage felt secure since it locked and unlocked with a room key. I would stay at this hotel again and have already recommended it to my friends.

Would like a continental breakfast option.

Loved the food court set up. The pool was great and a great poolside bar. Room was modern and just about everything could be controlled by a iPad that is in the room. Casting to the TV was a great option as well.

Ideas told there would be a fan on property as I need white noise to sleep and a box fan is what is use. I called customer service a week prior to getting there and they confirmed it would be there as they had plenty on property. They did rectify the problem after getting a manager involved. Left my pillow in the room somehow disappeared but it was an old feather pillow so not sure how that happened. Eventually inrecieved a credit for the pillow.
