Our room was lovely. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The view right on the beach was wonderful and the sunsets spectacular.
There was construction in the lobby area but it really didn’t bother us. The staff was great. We had a couple small issues and they immediately took care of it.

Loved the ocean view and Tiki bar. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Good location. Met a lot of guests who keep coming back every year!
The hotel itself looks old but could not beat the price for an ocean view room!

The staff was very friendly and went out of there to get us wht ever we needed. We were kind of weary at first because of past reviews. We get there and it was nothing like in past comments. Hot water all the time we was in room 601. Very clean nice location oceanview . Love the new color it was just a awesome place. Give island inn resort 20 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ The owner gets thumbsdown👎
I didn't like the fact the owner called and told them whoever was in parking #8 would have to move because they was having a car delivered. The staff told them that guest (us) was parked there the owner said we would have to move like really owner thts how you feel about your guest and after we moved there was no car there as of today when we left like really owner wow😡

The location on the beach was second to none. I specifically picked this hotel because of the balcony facing the ocean and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were helpful. The pool was nice, and it had a bar next to the pool which is always a bonus. It was a really great value, and I would stay here again.
The lobby and elevators looked like they may have been being worked on, but I really didn't care about that. The mixed drinks (pina colada/daiquiri) at the bar were not good. They were made with cheap mixer that I could have made at home. I would recommend upgrading those because I would have spent a lot more money at the bar if the drinks were better.

The view was amazing and the pool and tiki bar were perfect. We loved how quiet this spot was down a bit from the Pass and more residential , less condos! Walking on the sidewalk in the area was much more narrow than up north - so if you have really little kids or use strollers - id stay a bit further up north. Also, the pool was more adult/teen friendly with a nice deep end but lots of action at the bar within it - GREAT for big kids and friends/couples. Lots of locals, and quite a bit of smoking out front but we didnt mind with the ocean breeze. Also, the beach is very narrow so the ocean is really about 50 steps away! LOVED having a stove and nice size fridge! Plus glass dishes and silverware and a great TV.
Smokers, tiny bathrooms, part of the parking lot is under the first floor of rooms so if you are on your balcony you have a few cars parked below you but not loud at all.

We loved the location, on the beach with a pool and tiki bar was perfect. The room was clean and we had a great view of the ocean. We basically didn't need to leave the property! There's a Publix store about a half mile away where you can get all your groceries to stock up for your stay. This place offered all the relaxation we needed. Simple yet necessary. Treasure Island is low key and the beach is not busy at all. The tiki bar and pool was a main staple for us that offered great drinks and great company! And you can bring drinks on the beach! Many restaurants and things to do for everyone in walking distance or a very short ride.
The people in the room above us kept dragging the stool across the floor waking us up every morning at 530-630am. Maybe adding a felt bottom to the chairs would prevent this? The water pressure isn't wonderful and it feels like there is no hot water late at night (just luke warm). Also, the cold and hot was opposite in the sinks in our room. The tiki bar only offers snacks, not a big deal unless you want a full dinner. The elevator was down one side for renovations and the working one was putting in a lot of over time. Not a big deal since it's in the works.

We stayed in room 411 as we have done previously. Great size, facilities and an amazing view straight onto the gulf. Room was clean as usual and bed very comfortable. Staff are great in reception and help instantly with any queries you have. The entrance and building have had a big refurbishment in the last 18months which makes the entrance much brighter and cleaner looking. You walk straight out onto the beach which is very secluded and hardly anybody else on there. The tiki bar at the hotel provides a variety of drinks at good prices and is also a short walk along the beach to caddies which is a favourite beach bar of ours.
I would like a check out time later than 10am but i think this is being picky as the rooms need to be sorted by 3pm for the next guest checking in.

The Staff is excellent as well as the parking, pool, tiki bar, well kept grounds & building. We stayed on Rm#317. Beautiful view & equipped with all that we needed. We had a nice stay :)
The bathroom in Rm#317 could use a little bit of a face-lift. The air conditioner was set on 74° when we arrived in the room. Thinking that it felt a bit warm for 74°after being there for a couple of hours & had the drapes pulled closed...I did set the temp on 72 and it never seemed to get any cooler. We went & got a fan & that seemed to help. Overall we were still very appreciative of everything else :)

Liked the room and how spacious it was. View was ok from its location. Pool was nice and clean, had plenty of chairs. Nice Tiki Bar to enjoy a drink. Towels were supplied at all times. Staff was friendly and courteous.
First appearance of room gave the impression it was under construction. Both headboards weren’t attached to either bed frame, no bedding provided for the pullout bed, stack of picture frames in closet to be hung, inoperable tv left hanging in room, only two hangars in closet, only chairs on one balcony and dining chairs extremely wobbly. Wasn’t worth addressing as no other room available and didn’t want staff in our room affecting our stay.

We were in room 509 and it was perfect! We upgraded when we arrived because we originally booked in the second floor but you couldn’t really see the ocean due to the large dunes in front. There is also parking right at your balcony. Ugh. Room 509 was wonderful! The bed was so comfy, the room was clean, kitchen was stocked with dishes needed. The only drawback was there was limited coffee, Sugar, sweetener but Publix isn’t far away. They have a single use keurig and a standard coffeemaker . There was an igloo cooler to use and beach chairs and umbrellas. The hotel provides beach towels you just let them know your room number each time you pick up and drop off some. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Island Inn is convenient to John’s Pass, Treasure Island, and a short ride to Pass A Grille, all by Freebee the free ride service. We drive over the Skyway bridge to head south and visited Venice and the beaches there where we collected many shark teeth. We also visited the beaches around Fort de Soto Park that were less populated and full of beautiful shells.
They were doing renovations. Things were cluttered around.
