Location was perfect walkable to everything in Dahlonega. The room was a good size and very comfortable. There is an elevator which we didn’t expect. You get your own private parking which is great on busy weekends.

I would’ve liked turn down service and a cleanup each day like a typical hotel does. Maybe have it as an option that you can pay for extra each day. We did a three day stay and had no hotel cleaning service while we were there. It wasn’t a big deal because we were only there a couple of days and the room was impeccably clean, but it’s just a nice extra to have your trash taken out etc.

Before the stay, the hotel gave clear and comprehensive instructions and information about how to navigate to the hotel, check in, and how to access the building and room itself. Once there, the room had clear instructions and information about how to use the thermostat and nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel was quiet, in an excellent location, and very clean. The room was also very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice.

I would have liked to have had a safe in the room itself and a way to watch our streaming services without logging into our personal accounts on the hotel's roku.

It was located in walking distance to all restaurants and downtown. It has that bed and breakfast charm but lots of modern updates. My daughter and I loved it and I will use them again when I'm back in Dahlonega! They communicated with me before coming and gave me codes to enter the inn and my room and it was so easy! They even text me when we left to let us know we left our pillow.

Nothing, everything was great! No complaints whatsoever. I'm not sure what anyone could complain about here!

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring downtown Dahlonega or traveling to nearby wineries. The hotel was very well maintained and convenient to restaurants and shopping. We walked everywhere in nearby Dahlonega Square.

The only disappointment was the coffee machine in the lobby was not maintained and was out of milk for 2 days. I didn't request help because it wasn't that important, but it would have been nice to have a latte or cappuccino.

The location can't be beat, and the staff was absolutely lovely. We loved the wine tasting experience, as well. It was so nice drinking our wine in the beautiful lobby while we played cards and chatted. It was wonderful being such a short walk to the square, and it was very easy going in and out after hours. Also, everything--even the hallways and stairwell--smells fresh and clean, which is so appreciated!

In an ideal world, the rooms would have a little more character and feel more like the lobby, which is so beautiful.

It was a quaint little inn. It was all decorated with beautiful antique furniture. Even the bathroom vanity was a beautiful piece of furniture made into the vanity sink. It had wine tasting on site along with front porch rocking chairs right off the square. You could walk to everything. I’ve already booked my next stay. My son goes to school at UNG so we’ve stayed at the Smithhouse, Holiday inn and Barefoot hills. This by far was our favorite!

Loved everything

The charm. The relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The location And I love seeing “Ghost” the resident outdoor cat 🐱

Nothing hotel could’ve done. We’ve stayed there 4 years in a row. However … this year we were on the odd numbered side of the hall 🥹 so I didn’t get my window view of the square with the Christmas lights. Our view was a parking lot. And I always looked forward to leaving the blinds open all night so I can see the lights.

We parked our car on Friday and didn’t move it until we checked out on Sunday. Everything downtown was within walking distance. A cozy retreat.😊

Minor issue: When I got ready to dry my hair, I stepped out of the bathroom, so my husband could shower. I looked for a plug by a mirror in the bedroom. The only one available blew a fuse when I turned on my dryer. I switched to the other side of the room, but had no mirror.

Loved the location and quaintness of the hotel. Rooms were roomy, decorated so cute, and very clean. Loved the lobby area and the decor throughout. Wine tasting was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ghost the kitty was so cute and a big hit with our family!

The mattresses could use an upgrade. Also, extra blankets in the rooms would be useful. Wish the lobby area was open longer as it was nice to sit and enjoy. Possibly coffee in the lobby.... know coffee available in rooms, but not the same. 😥 Snacks in vending area???

Location is excellent within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff is fantastic. This is a family owned hotel and it is evident as the staff is very helpful and responsive. They have EV chargers which is great for us.

Two bars of soap in the bathroom would have been nice. They do have shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower but I prefer bar soap.
