This hotel is only a few minutes away from downtown Dahlonega and a short drive to all the hikes we wanted to do. The staff, especially Bailey, is amazing and friendly and made it easy to extend our stay, which we decided to do after finding our room to be really clean with really comfortable beds. Our room had all the conveniences of a more expensive hotel, including a complimentary breakfast that included hot items such as eggs and sausage and a large assortment of other options as well. We can definitely see staying here again in the future and highly recommend this place!

Not a lot of parking options and right next to a fairly busy road, but all the pluses far outweigh these minor inconveniences.

Every thing about this motel was great. Booking.com screwed up big time. I called and ask that we need to stay 3 nights instead of one. I got an e-mail saying they could not get us 3 nights. When we got to the motel I ask about about the three nights and was told there would have been no problem. I had to pay for Fri. and Sat out of my pocket at a lot higher rate, because booking.com did not do as I ask and book us for Fri Sat. nights I will not be using booking.com in the future.

Family of 8 traveling, had 2 rooms, no issues. Location was great for everywhere we needed to go, it was very close to the main square where other hotels were much more costly. Breakfast had great and had several choices which met everyone's needs, the hotel was very clean and saw management walking around sweeping, and keeping the property neat. Several security cameras were spotted and it felt very safe. Rooms were your standard size motel room but was updated and very clean. My kids enjoyed the pool, the area was also kept neat and clean.

The breakfast area was very small (seats 10 snuggly) but there is also a little lobby area with chairs and a table and you can always bring back to your room.

The staff when I arrived early I went in and asked if by chance we could check in a little earlier? He then tells me yes for a extra $25. Umm Hell no they didn't want to give me extra $25 when we left at 3a for the airport. Also no one at the desk window even after I pushed the bell a few times. My guess was they where asleep or no one was there. HOWEVER all the other staff where nice.

First, the motel was modestly priced. The reviews said it was rated "good". Check-in went smoothly. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and well lit. The shower was very comfortable, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast included everything we wanted. Cereals, waffles, juices, microwaveable omelettes, muffins, etc. This motel was exceptional for the mid range price. We would definitely stay again when in this area.

This is my favorite of Dahlonega's hotels. Check in is always easy. They always put me in the backside of the motel when I request it. The rooms are always spacious and clean. All the devices in the room work.

My only dislikes of this hotel are things that can't be helped like noise from other guests--people clustering outside your door for a noisy chat, someone taking a crying child outside right in front of my door. Hotels cluster people to make work easier for the clean-up crew the next morning. If you are not heavily booked, it would be better to space the guests out with empty rooms between them. The hotel charges higher prices to begin with plus there are these ridiculously high fees that the city of Dahlonega tacks on to the room---it raised my stay by $30.

Breakfast offerings were adequate. Seating however, limited. Hotel was quite full and thankfully we got there just before the rush.

There were limited pool towels. Although no control of QI, our serenity by the pool was interrupted by the travel bus as it started its engine and sat there idling. Perhaps parking farther away as there is adequate space behind the facility.

I was within a great distance from the University for the price. Everything directly in the little town was more expensive and this was about a minute difference and $100 cheaper. Great alternative.

Unfortunately we encountered some roaches in the bathroom, but because it is GA we took that into consideration, and not because the room was dirty.

Location was perfect since it was close to the downtown marketplace as well as to the bicycle marathon starting location at Lumpkin high school. Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Shower curtain didn't quite keep the water out on one side so I put a towel down. Bathroom was a little small but the vanity area was spacious.

we had to go into a two queen room bc we had a pet. then when they moved us to a "pet friendly, non smoking room" the room reeked badly of cigarettes eventho there was a non-smoking sign on the door
