The staff was very nice and efficient. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and several people were enjoying it. The kids enjoyed the workout room. Parking spaces are easy to find

There was no hot coffee upon check-in, which the ad states is available. The spa water was not very hot and the water was dirty and gray the desk clerk stated a lot of people had been it. When I changed my clothes, I found a candy wrapper, other trash, and grass in my bathing suit.The breakfast bar: the eggs and the biscuits were cold.

Breakfast was great! And the pool and hot tub felt nice each evening after walking around town. Staff was polite and courteous and the rooms were clean and smelled as if they clean with bleach. Bleach kills germs and it wasn’t an over powering smell smelled nice and clean!

The pool needs some updating and staff said that is planned for the future but it was nice and clean as well as the hot tub.

Comfy, Homey, loved the Breakfast. Friendly staff: however they need to work on check in times, I know his says 3:00; we arrived as a few other travelers did between 2:30 & 3:00. One room was ready by 2:45 but the other not until 3:15. Most places I have ever stayed at always have the room ready 1 hour before check in time (this is when we usually go). But at least be ready by proposed check-in time, and it definitely shouldn’t be moved to later than 3:00 p.m.

The room was comfortable. Pool was nice and warm. Staff was nice, Especially the breakfast attendant! Whatever she is being paid, I'd be for sure isn't enough! She went above and beyond to make sure people had what they wanted or needed! Location was great. For people that do not know, there is a little German Village like tourist town within walking distance from this hotel. It is quite cool!

The room could have been a little cleaner. The wifi was not great. Not the hotels fault, but we had a fire alarm go off right after my crew had all just gotten in the pool. We all had to go stand in the cold wet until the building was cleared by firemen and police.

large room, had like 2 rooms together

as in most places it needed some work done to it. lock part in the door was loose, needed more hooks to hang wet towels. windows (2) were off their tracks. they could be open and May have been force open at some time. was on second floor. a second chair would have been nice. At nights you could here people talking or kids running up and down the halls after 11. swimming pool was on the first floor under our room . could hear people talking in there.

The front desk people were friendly. The breakfast was good. There were waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy for your biscuits. I think they should add warm boiled eggs or omelette to the weekend menu. I enjoyed the town for convenient shopping and restaurants. The food was amazing at the Mexican restaurant and Big Daddy’s. The hotel is located about an hour and a half from Blue Ridge Mountain for the train ride and the same distance to visit Atlanta.

The shower curtain needed cleaning because it was dirty at the bottom. The carpet on the staircase needed vacuuming. I never saw a cleaning person while I was there visiting. Another thing is that you can hear the closing of door and people talking in the hallway. Late at night it was not bad.

Breakfast on the first day was outstanding. Day two was not so hot. Believe different care takers. Close to town, everything was within walking distance great because we did not have to pay for parking. Not a bad place to stay for the price.

Old, dirty and maintenance was highly needed. Pool dirty and needs new liner. Hot tub out of order. Hall going toward room was scratched and needed paint everywhere. Needed to request towels for room twice.

Good location as it was close to everything in Helen. Breakfast was a hit with the kids and staff was awesome about getting our cart for luggage when we arrived. The kids also enjoyed having a swimming pool available.

The facility is a little outdated. It looks as if renovations have occurred in a few areas but the pool (especially) needs A LOT of work (paint peeling, etc.) The rooms and carpets could use some additional updates as well.

Everything was great. All the staff were wonderful, polite , helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel's not brand new but you can see that they've been upgrading. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I noticed was a repair to the tub. And I can't say that was a dislike it was just visible.

The breakfast was great. The guy working in the breakfast area worked really hard. The room was very clean. The location was great for us.

Check in was very slow. There was a line to check in & our rooms weren't ready. The pool area needs to be refreshed. I didn't see any pool towels and the sign said to shower but I didn't see a shower. The area around the pool was old & not the cleanest, but it was ok for a weekend visit.
