The location in Helen is great. I paid to park down the road to explain the main village, but could have easily walked instead. The main reason I chose this property was because they were pet friendly, and even better, did not charge extra. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. I spent some time at one of the wineries a few miles away, and then down in the village. My room was clean, water was hot and had strong pressure for the shower, it had a fridge (great for storing all the leftovers), and while I didn’t stay late enough in the morning, was glad I had the option for breakfast.

This doesn’t really have to do with the management or property per se, but I had really noisy neighbors. The walls are thin, so the water from the showers can be heard, the people above me stomped around and the people on the side could be heard through the walls. I just turned on some music/tv and was exhausted so it didn’t bother me that much, but that was my only issue.

Was impressed with the clean, comfortable rooms- not musty smelling at all- bed was not too soft and not too hard. Plenty of room, clean upgraded sink. Bath was super clean. Pool was clean and being cleaned when we were there. There is a small dog run to let your dog potty. Pet friendly. Walkable to downtown but if your mobility impaired it may be too much of a walk. Friendly desk clerk that provided good local info. Only complaint is we stayed on 2nd floor above the office and heard the door open and shut all night. Just needs a whiter door IMO. Breakfast had the basics, cereal, bagels, yogurt, pancakes, coffe, juice, no meat. Overall I would stay again.

The room was comfortable the staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was larger than expected .Lots of plugs for all my devices and an area for the dog..the bathtub was clean I wiped my hand in it to check.

The floor needed mopping. I spilt water in the floor when I wiped it up the rag was black with dirt . Breakfast wasn't anything I would eat except a banana . I don't eat cereal or waffles but I did expect it.

It is a wonderful location. Close enough to walk to pretty much anything yet far enough away to have a mostly quiet stay.

Upon arriving I noticed there was only 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth although I made the reservation for 4 adults. I went to the front office to get more. We put our used towels and washclothes outside our door as instructed but they were never replaced by new ones. We had to keep going to the office to get them. We only had a half of a roll of toilet paper with no replacement. We had to go to the office for that as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean . we had an issue with our TV and the housekeeper fixed it for us. she told us they didn;t have a maintenance man but that she would help, It took her a little bit but she did not stop until she helped us . Very nice lady

when we got to the dining area for breakfast an hour after it opened , most items were not stocked . The guy at the counter acted as if we were bothering him .

support My wife got sick and after about 2 hours after check in and I had to call 911. We stayed in Gainsville, Georgia hospital most of time. Only stayed a short time at the motel. Slept part of one night at the motel. Thanks for the experience of a vacation, but my wife said she was never going on another vacation because of the sickness and going to the hospital.

I didn't use the provided service because I like to go out for a full breakfast on vacation. But the motel's service appeared nice.

The room's flooring was attractive, but in need of a good disinfectant cleaning instead of just a dry dust mop. I wiped up some water my dog splashed out of her bowl, and the rag was totally black. Also, one of the chair's seat cushions was terribly worn with tears and holes. There's nothing more distracting than shabby, worn out furniture in a nice motel room.

Beds in both rooms were very comfy. Rooms were clean. General Manager Mark was very nice. Receptionist upon arrival was very nice to us also. Nice size tub to lay in. Allowing pets was a plus. Coffee in brkfst room was good. Location to things was within walking distance.

Walls to thin. Upstairs a patron was walking around and kept me from sleeping. Need better breakfast. Only one trash can in room. Up hill walk to building bad for patrons with disabilities.

The Pancakes were amazing and the room and bed were comfortable and pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind!

The walls were thin and we heard someone snoring loudly through the walls. Perhaps when the hotel has plenty of vacancies, more attention can be paid to where guests stay. We had 2 young kids and they could hear people being loud through the wall.

The desk clerk was wonderfully accommodating. We needed to change our room, and thankfully it wasn't a problem. Awesome water pressure, comfy bed, and clean. The chair in the room was a little worn, but still comfy.

I wish it had been closer to the town center. Too far for us to walk and on a steep incline to the hotel. Other than that, we were very satisfied. A little updating and this hotel could be perfect.
