It was close to everything therefore we could walk to most places we wanted to go to. The room was really nice. I liked the layout of the room. Staff was nice too. Glad to get Breakfast too.

I did not like the fact that I couldn't get the fireplace to work. There was no remote to it that I seen. It was plugged in. There was a timer of some sort on the wall, but it didn't work it either. The TV remotes were also a little crazy. There was 2 TV's and only one remote worked. I asked the desk clerk about the fireplace and the TV remotes. She said she didn't know about it, and that she would report the concern to maintenance to look at. I never heard back from them. It would have been nice to have used the fireplace...for warmth and romance.

Hotel location was excellent, had a good nights sleep due to very quiet guests, away from street traffic and lights and decent bedding. The A/C worked great and produced the desired room temperature without running constantly as the case in most hotel/motel accommodations. The breakfast was more than adequate and offered a variety of breakfast items. The coffee was excellent. A great treat was the half off value of mini golf offered to guests. The course was excellent and nearby. It also offered a beautiful overlook of the city of Helen.

The rooms were a little dated. The TV went in and out, but it was not the fault of the hotel. The staff quickly responded to correct the TV outage. The breakfast area could be a little larger to accommodate guests during peak hours between 7 to 8 AM.

The location in Helen is great. I paid to park down the road to explain the main village, but could have easily walked instead. The main reason I chose this property was because they were pet friendly, and even better, did not charge extra. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. I spent some time at one of the wineries a few miles away, and then down in the village. My room was clean, water was hot and had strong pressure for the shower, it had a fridge (great for storing all the leftovers), and while I didn’t stay late enough in the morning, was glad I had the option for breakfast.

This doesn’t really have to do with the management or property per se, but I had really noisy neighbors. The walls are thin, so the water from the showers can be heard, the people above me stomped around and the people on the side could be heard through the walls. I just turned on some music/tv and was exhausted so it didn’t bother me that much, but that was my only issue.

Was disappointed Sunday went to get pancakes at 8:40 machine said change bag staff said to late we end breakfast at 9 Very disappointing 4 other people ahead of me were disappointed as well

Dog park fenced in area was disgusting worse part of stay would not dare take my dog in. It has not been cleaned up in forever Please make that a teachable situation with the staff

Was impressed with the clean, comfortable rooms- not musty smelling at all- bed was not too soft and not too hard. Plenty of room, clean upgraded sink. Bath was super clean. Pool was clean and being cleaned when we were there. There is a small dog run to let your dog potty. Pet friendly. Walkable to downtown but if your mobility impaired it may be too much of a walk. Friendly desk clerk that provided good local info. Only complaint is we stayed on 2nd floor above the office and heard the door open and shut all night. Just needs a whiter door IMO. Breakfast had the basics, cereal, bagels, yogurt, pancakes, coffe, juice, no meat. Overall I would stay again.

The dark haired woman who worked nights was very kind and attentive to me. Gave good tip ideas and I was thankful to have another woman to talk to on my long trip. My dog and I were treated wonderfully by her!

Maintenance guy was stuck to his cell phone, texting away while front office staff was busy with check in and he was leaning against wall BUSY doing his thing everytime I saw him. Useless and to be honest, time to watch your surveillance cameras and replace those that are taking advantage of payroll.

The room was comfortable the staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was larger than expected .Lots of plugs for all my devices and an area for the dog..the bathtub was clean I wiped my hand in it to check.

The floor needed mopping. I spilt water in the floor when I wiped it up the rag was black with dirt . Breakfast wasn't anything I would eat except a banana . I don't eat cereal or waffles but I did expect it.

The rooms were clean. The fact that they were pet-friendly made it even better! Amanda in the front office was very sweet and attentive, she recommended some restaurants near the hotel. The location of this hotel was perfect, we had the view of the mountains from across the street which was a plus.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean . we had an issue with our TV and the housekeeper fixed it for us. she told us they didn;t have a maintenance man but that she would help, It took her a little bit but she did not stop until she helped us . Very nice lady

when we got to the dining area for breakfast an hour after it opened , most items were not stocked . The guy at the counter acted as if we were bothering him .

The jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very good coffee.....I enjoyed the continental breakfast

Lots of Water was on the floor coming from the air conditioner. The maintenance department came into care of the issue. However,the walls are very, very thin.You can hear whomever walking on the second floor throughout the day and night
