Really enjoyed our stay here! The room was much larger than we thought! It was extremely clean. The view was amazing! The entire marsh was right at our window.

They closed the pool and restaurant on Sunday after 4p for their staffs end of the summer party. Normally, we wouldn't have had a problem with this but no one told us this was going to happen. When you have to get kids around and go to a pool to find it closed it isn't a good thing. Please communicate better if the amenities will not be accessible.

The property was very nice and the rooms were updated and upscale. The cleanliness of the rooms was superb. The toiletries in the room were high end as were the towels. The room also had a great view of the marshes. I enjoyed my stay.

The only concern I had and I did not say anything when I was there was that when I was loading my car to leave around 6:30 am, there was a guy in sitting in a gray car backed into a parking spot across from me diaganoly. As I was organizing my bags I heard a car door open and he just stood there a minute. I felt very uneasy and rushed back to my room. I looked out a couple times and he was still standing by his car. I didn’t come back out until daylight and the car was still there. I rushed to my car and left. I really didn’t have a good feeling about the situation.

The queen room was super spacious and very neat and clean. The modern updates were a plus and loved the screened in balcony.

As first time guests we didn’t know where to check in. There was a sign for SAGO and a sign for the conference center but saw no sign for check in. Cars were lined up in front of the building, but we didn’t know what that was for. Need clearer signage for people. Also, the service for Saturday breakfast was terrible. Waited too long to be served and checked out. I recommend not having the Saturday breakfast if you can’t properly staff it. Made reservations for the Sunday brunch but cancelled after the horrible service for Saturday breakfast.

It was a great place to watch the tides come in and out. We watched the birds feast in the middle of the day and fish jump in the evening. We road electric bikes and saw the local attractions.

The beaches were great for younger children. If you want to swim in waves or surf, this was not the location for you. The Sea Palms golf course was disappointing. We golfed for 1/2 price ($60/ person). There wasn't a map of the course. The workers were a little rude.

The location was good. The room was very nice, it had everything we needed and some. The view of the marsh was very beautiful! The room was clean and it was a nice and quiet facility despite being full.

I was disappointed in the pool. It was said to be heated but it was not. I asked them if it was not working right now and they said it was 80 degrees, but it definitely was not. I would prefer they just be honest about it. This was a big reason I choose this place bc I wanted to be able to swim with my daughter for our spring break. Also they hardly ever had any clean towels out. There was so many people, but no towels. They brought out 12 for a crowd of about 40. Other than that the pool was nice.

When I was a child, we were very poor. I come from a family of nine siblings, so a family vacation was something we never could afford. But from time to time, my dad would surprise us by taking us to a local hotel in our hometown of Charlotte. We always stayed at the cheapest family-friendly hotels that offered a swimming pool. These occasional hometown hotel getaways are some of the fondest memories from my childhood, and they fostered in me a love for hotels that I carry to this day. Never then would I have dreamed that I would ever be able to spend one night, much less a week in a place as upscale as Sea Palms Resort. This is not hyperbole. This truly is affordable luxury. The staff is always very helpful, friendly, and professional. The golf course is beautiful, the pool is fantastic, the views of the marsh are breathtaking and teeming with wildlife. We have stayed in the regular king room and the deluxe king suite. Both offered very comfortable beds and roomy showers. We live in Georgia near Savannah, but our favorite place in the state is St. Simon's Island. And our favorite place to stay, by far, is Sea Palms Resort.

I cannot think of one thing we did not like.

The room we were originally assigned to had air conditioning issues, so we were immediately upgraded to another room. The room was gorgeous, had a beautiful view of the marsh, and had a bathroom that was fantastic. The restaurant had delicious food, and the staff were awesome.

The room needed vacuuming, but they had just removed the carpet, and we needed a new room. It was fine for a few days, and I am sure if I had asked, they would have had someone there right away.

The room was very nice and we loved the view over the marshes. Air conditioner worked great. Bathroom was spacious. Mini fridge, sink, microwave, and coffee pot were very convenient with staying for a whole week.

The resort was in the middle of some outdoor renovations while we were there (repaving the parking lots, putting up a fence, etc.) and that left the parking lot a bit of a mess. When arrived on a Sunday and the resort was quiet and empty, which was really nice. However, by Thursday or Friday, the resort was full and we heard people out and about late into the night. The way the room is set up, you enter one door and then there are two doors to two separate units. Once there is someone in the other unit, you can hear them coming and going all the time.

Room was very clean, updated. Pretty view. Nice shower. Bed was very comfortable.

Very confusing to find our room. We were not told that door to 318B was behind the door that said 318. Another couple was looking for 318 and they were lost as well. We were all standing in the hallway outside of elevator, clueless. Their key card didn't work to outer door. Also, spouse had to make 3 trips to office at 5 am to get his keycard for the gym door to work.

The room was very clean and updated nicely. The view of the marsh is so peaceful. Didn't know there was breakfast available but next time I'll definitely check it out. My oldest daughter was with me and told them it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with a gorgeous cake and wine! They let us know there is still a some construction going on but we were never even aware or heard any noise. The location is great, nothing is too far away... less than 15 minutes to St Simons pier. We drove to Brunswick and Jekyll Island in no time.

The bed mattresses was too soft for us and we did wake up with a backache but I also didn't think to ask if there was a firmer option.
