Loved the historic architecture of the resort, pool area had many nooks to sit in, fantastic views from room, pool, dining room, everywhere! The staff was excellent.

Resort and rooms really need refurbishing. For the price I paid for the room, the ottoman had a broken leg (and was repaired a few times with gorilla glue), there were band aids taped to the internet sensor to block the light in the room, a light bulb was out, the dark wood stain on the bed frame wasn't finished around a few areas so the plywood construction stood out. The wood front door has some dings. The sink is set back really far on the countertop in the bathroom which is an odd location. The housekeeping staff did a great job, but the resort definitely needs handyman staff to fix up the broken and odd things in the room to match the price for the room.

the pool area is excellent, the hotel is clean, some areas they have updated but still seems to have old feel.

we booked a resort view and was put in a room that overlooked the air conditioning units with a fence outside the main window. The window view from the bathroom was a little better, but looked at a brick wall and part of a roof. I felt that I was in jail the whole time I was in the room. Stay away from room 243 in the Historic building. I am very leery about booking a room with a resort view now. I feel that we paid resort prices for a low rent room.

The rooms are very quiet with little to no noise from neighboring rooms. The hotels pools were well maintained and a nice treat. The beach was not overly crowded. The rooms were cleaned each day. We really enjoyed being right on the beach.

The restaurant in the hotel was overpriced and did not have options that we enjoyed. A shuttle to tourist areas would have been a nice touch. Everything is close, but it's a lot of walking. There was an internet booster in the room that glowed blue all night long.

Clean carpets - we tend to go barefoot indoors but after the first evening could not as our feet were filthy! Never ever have I experienced this before in a time share. At the prices charged you would expect the highest standards, not this time. The unit would benefit from some in depth maintenance to bring it up to an acceptable standard. Also unable to use the veranda has work on roofs opposite was very noisy, we were not forewarned of this! Poor management of this aspect.

Location, food at echo, heated pool and hot tub

Bed, pillow could have been softer, they felt worn. Maintenance in room 237 could be better, the plumbing access under the secondary sink (not bathroom) kept falling off, several broken tiles and a couple felt like they were not even adhered to the ground. The alcohol was not very good and food was priced too high

The resort grounds were very nice, and location was wonderful Parking was easy Meals at the restaurant were very good The balcony was a good size AC worked well and there was a ceiling fan

Unless you book an oceanfront room there is no ocean view King size bed was not comfortable Bathroom layout was good but the toilet was very low and the tub/shower was very high and difficult to get into safely The price was extremely expensive for just a room

Location and convenience! It was great to be able to move from the beach to the pool with ease - especially with kids! We also loved being able to order food from the pool bar! We also loved having two sink areas in our room.

Parking was difficult at times in the designated parking lot that was assigned to our building. We also had issues with the streaming and wifi in our room.

the building we stayed in was one of the older ones of the property and could use some updates. for example, the door to the room was difficult to close, and we found it to actually be left open a couple of times after it was cleaned and a couple of times by us as well (it appeared closed but was not, and nothing was missing)

The location was fantastic! Directly on the beach.

Property was a little dated and could use some renovation. Carpet in rooms was a little old but ok. People saved chairs by the pools which was frustrating. Staff should pick up facility towels on chairs if no one shows up for 30 minutes.

Loved view of ocean and pool from our balcony on 4th floor! Decor and helpful, cheerful staff! Being near elevator. Property location near restaurants and historical sites.

Sometimes hard to reach desk to ask questions ...most questions could have been addressed in information materials in each room.
