Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bedding.

I’m a dog owner, but didn’t like that they allowed pets. When you pay a lot for a four star hotel, you don’t want to hear barking dogs in lobby or get woken up twice in the middle of the night by a barking dog in the room next door, as we did.

The room was very large and had plenty of storage space. It was easy to keep the temperature comfortable. Staff were incredible. The pool and inner courtyard areas were a nice touch. The complimentary fruit water was delicious, and the hotel also offered wine hour every day with a red, white, and rose selection. Location was mostly good but it was a bit of a walk to the most frequented shopping and sightseeing areas. We did not go to the hotel restaurant (Pacci) because the prices were a bit high for us, but it was a beautiful space.

My friends and I felt the beds were hard and uncomfortable. I think the comforter was down-filled or similar, and we frequently found that we were overheating during the night and would have to get up to turn the A/C down. The TV only offered local channels and Pay Per View (with very few, subpar offerings, and cost $20 per movie!!!). It would be nice to have smart TVs, as most modern hotels are changing to these so patrons can log into their own streaming apps and have MANY more options. There was no in-room kettle or coffeemaker. We like to have tea or decaf coffee before bed and had no way to make any. In the mornings, the hotel offered complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, but it only occurred during the morning hours.

Location and staff were wonderful. Breakfast and daily wine social were very nice inclusions. Liked that it was dog friendly even though I left my little love at home. Common areas and pool area were lively, lovely, welcoming, and clean. We had a few little issues with housekeeping which management addressed quickly and compensated for. First time staying at a Kimpton property but would definitely stay again.

No concierge on weekend. Front desk staff was not extremely knowledgeable but were very pleasant. Scatter rug between beds in room was tripped over repeatedly and seemed like an accident waiting to happen.

Our room didn’t get cleaned unless we asked and even then not until 4pm our floor was so dirty as it wasn’t swept, we had to take up our floor mat as it was a trip hazard for me which left the floor dusty, I asked the cleaning lady several times if she’d sweep it, she never did so my feet were constantly dirty. We had to ask for toilet paper constantly.

Chic, well designed, lots of amenities and free activities. There’s a pool, fitness center, they offer free yoga on Saturday mornings, free coffee in the morning and they have a free wine hour. It’s very dog friendly, many people bring their dogs. The rooms are huge! I’ve been to this hotel 3 times and each room I’ve had was so large, they were like studio apartments! Love it here, it’s the only place I stay in Savannah.

Can get busy on the weekends so you may have a hard time getting a hold of staff or the concierge.

The hotel was very updated and very close to River Street.

I was not aware that the restaurant, as well as other things in the hotel, would be closed due to construction. They were also doing construction from early in the morning until late at night, which could be heard from the room. Additionally, there was no microwave in the room, which I knew, but think it would be a good addition. There was no toilet paper in the room at all when I arrived, but the front desk was fast to provide some. Finally, the only parking option the hotel offered was Valet, which of course, was an additional cost on top of the stay each day.

The staff is great. They are friendly and helpful in the restaurant, and even the valet. Love the decor and feel too it.The coffee in the morning is why I stay there. It makes life easy and coffee lovers are appreciative. It is very good as well. There was a water glitch but they comped us a night for the inconvenience. Love the wine happy hour, and the breakfast was great! Best Grits in Savannah. Location is off the main strip near a quiet square. Beautiful hidden garden.

The room had a musty smell but I used a candle and sage. My co-workers room smelled fine.

I had to hunt someone down to have towels brought to our room after leaving a message with guest services that we needed them. Needed the floor swept due to dog hair from previous guests. I understand they were in the middle of remodeling and getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day festivities. The staff was very helpful and accommodating!

The location was Great. The Place would have been Great but…

They were doing Renovations and the place was clustered and a lot of the amenities were non existent due to construction. also the construction workers were unpleasant to my wife and just always in the way also my wife got paint splattered on her new jacket from one of the workers painting inside the elevator

We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Brice Hotel. We really enjoyed the location, walkable to many of Savannah's main sites and attractions. We loved the free social hour and wine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the breakfast at the restaurant too.

If you are not a dog-lover, then this hotel probably is not for you. It is very dog-friendly and there were lots of dogs in the lobby. Otherwise, 5 stars!!!
