Great location, friendly staff, clean room, nice pool. Accomodating when I needed to adjust the dates last minute, due to standby travel issues I ran into.

The room I received (569) was very close to a neighboring building that had a very noisy rooftop. Not sure if they are A/C units or some type of ventilation, but it made the lanai not enjoyable to be out on, so I rarely used it (still heard with the doors closed but not as loud). My stay here last year, I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade to my room, which overlooked the pool. Understand the price difference between the two rooms, but the lanai overlooking the pool (and without the noise) really elevated last year's trip vs this years.

elevators were either not working or extremely slow. we are allowed to use the service elevator our breakfast was 90 dollars for two eggs and two mimosas. quite outrageous if you want to keep your guests in your hotel to also eat there. we could go next door for half that price. maybe offer a discount for guests?

The location was great. The size of room was clean. The beach is nearby. We could do laundry services at hotel. The staffs were very nice. The 1st night, we arrived, I found the A/C was not working. After contacting front desk, they sent an engineer onsite within 10 minutes. He fixed the A/C issue. However, it was not working again after half an hour. After I contacted them again, they sent couple engineers onsite and replaced the A/C control panel. Then A/C worked great during our stay. House keeping staffs were nice as well. They provided few bottles of water during this hot summer! My family likes this hotel.

The room was a bit outdated. The provided shampoo/conditioner/show gel made our skins a bit dried. The provided lotion was not good enough. Thus, we needed to buy our own ones to use.

We are repeated guests so we know what to expect. We noticed rooms and public areas are much cleaner. Was so nice its was not crowded. We always enjoy the professional staff and location - close to everything! Extended check out time for free, was great... we were able to enjoy the last day without being rushed.

The independent tax driver, your staff hired for us to go to the airport 9/27 was horrible. He told us "cash only," and didn't have change when arrived. He was threatening and almost grabbed our $100 for $38 fare. After we got change to $20 bills, he grabbed $60. Good thing we were able to get $20 back...so he got $40. So scary when the airport was sparse for the late night flight. He was muttering some Chinese? Korean? We do not want future guests to be threatened and bullied.

The hotel location was amazing. We could walk out of the main doors or through the pool area and be just steps from Waikiki Beach. There were also plenty of great shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.

It was a bit challenging to access the hotel lobby from several floors of the parking garage. Also, the pool deck would get extremely hot during the day so make sure you wear flip flops and keep them right by the pool. The only other thing negative was that there was not a hot tub available on the property.

We loved the location, the staff, the Splash Bar, the Hawaiian guys that sang and the lady that danced. Our servers at the bar and the pool they were all wonderful, shout out to Vanessa! The ABC stores had everything we needed. Great location to the beach in the mornings and then we came back and enjoyed the pool area in the afternoon. It was my friends 40th birthday celebration trip, and she can't wait to go back. Thank you SPK for making our stay so great!

I can't think of anything, the elevators were fast the room was clean the view was fabulous. 10/10

Princess Kaiulani has changed since our last stay. Still excellent facilities, a bit old, but suited our needs. Beach is across the road. It's right in the middle of the action on main street. Close to ABC shops (haha). Big pool area with plenty of lounges and unbrellas. We picked a pool view room and were'nt disapointed. Our view was across the pool area and over to the surf and beach. Love the old ice machines on each level, able to fill up our esky and enjoy the cheap beer from said ABC Stores by the pool. Would definately stay again, good location and fair price.

I have been returning to this property for over 30 years. I enjoy the location and mostly the friendliness of the staff. However in the past as I have stayed so many times at this property management has appreciated my returning and even sent a fresh fruit welcome plate to my room. I miss that little touch! I am a condo renter on the Big Island and always have a little something special for my returning guest to show my apprciation for their business. It really set's you apart from other properties.

I do miss the buffet breakfast. That was alway special for myself and my friends when we stayed at the PK>

Location was great, bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We were also provided with a room upgrade and drink voucher upon our arrival as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Our room was upgraded which we we're appreciative of but the room itself was next to the service elevators, which we heard all night and on one day there was drilling work being done at 7am! Also for the cost of the room we would have expected there to have been bodywash included in the bathroom.
