The rooms are good with all you need, great shower, although the double queen room was a bit tight for four (that was our option though). The breakfast was good, and the WiFi great, pool and hot tub were available, and the communal washing facilities for clothes were really useful. The staff were really helpful in general

The plates, cups, knives and forks were all disposed of after breakfast. They should really use reusable or recyclable material, it is an awful waste. For some reason only one bed got made up one day. We reserved this place to go to yellowstone, and it is qute a drive in, but that was on us.

The location to Yellowstone is about 17 miles south, and we stayed for 4 days. The first day, we relaxed around the property, spent 2 days in Yellowstone, and rented an RZR 900/50 for the day. You have to have the 50" to be able to get on the trail going to Two Tops mtn. What a spectacular view. The resort has nice outdoor seating for those who love being outdoors. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great for starting off for a long day in yellowstone.

There is a grocery store across the highway, but be careful that there are no crosswalks or lights to get across. That's not the resorts deal, though.

Location was fairly close to West entrance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and plenty of space. Ice machine was not working but the front desk was able to provide ice. Good size refrigerator. Parking was easy and close to building.

I slept poorly all 5 nights, the beds are just too soft and I stayed on the bottom floor. Footsteps, rolling luggage on laminate floors above me was very loud in the mornings. There were 8 pillows in the room but none felt comfortable. The TV remote control was not easy to use but there are plenty of channels available. The room had wooden blinds but curtains would have been helpful to block out some of the exterior light. I prefer to sleep in really dark rooms.

I liked the size of the room - the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was pretty large (bath was nice!). Breakfast until 10am (so if you want to sleep in during the week, that's possible). Free parking. Good Wifi. Shop close-by.

The hairdryer broke. Whenever my fridge would turn out, the tv would turn off for a few seconds. Some staff providing room service were super nice and did an excellent job - but a few times I came back and the coffee pads weren't replaced nor the bin in the bathroom was emptied.

This hotel was further away than what I had set for my parameters when looking for a place close to Yellowstone Park, however, it was more than worth the drive after spending 12 hours touring Yellowstone. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and overall best place we stayed during our visit to Yellowstone.

Small thing-arrived at night and it wasn't obvious where we were to check in at the front desk, however that may have been because of how tired we were upon arrival after a long day touring.

The continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve had traveling in any hotel. Great selection and delicious. The staff was also great. I will be coming back to Harriman State Park in a few months with our company and will definitely stay here again.

The vending machines are exact change machines. A lot of the hotels we use around the western states are card and give change back. That’s the only thing that i wouldn’t mind changing. But that’s a very minor thing and did not effect my stay!

Very cozy resort hotel nestled in between trees and (at least at the time of us being there, which was mid-May...) huuuge piles of snow still sitting at the roadside. Which was quite a change of pace from where we came from the day of our arrival. The village of Island Park seemed very sleepy (but I think this was still off season), but it's just about half an hour via US-20 to West Yellowstone. Our room was spacious and very clean (daily housekeeping, which isn't standard in most places anymore...) with a great bathroom; it furthermore had a fridge and a microwave. The hotel has an indoor pool, a small gym and an arcade room. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was pretty standard, but we didn't expect much else. Had a great time, would spent a night or two here again if we're ever back this way.

The room was clean & updated. Staff were happy to clean & accommodate. Breakfast was more than enough!! Had variety so when staying several days in a row, you could change it up if you liked. Would have liked fruit but understand.

We slipped in the tub/shower. So for safety, maybe handrail or mat. Next time we will request that.

We chose Sawtelle because it was convenient to get to Yellowstone National Park. We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. The bed was comfortable, the towels fluffy, and our room was a nice size for the two of us. It was also very clean. Housekeeping did a great job of checking our room everyday to make sure we had clean towels and emptied our trash. The breakfast every morning was really good and we loved the coffee! Also the hotel is located in an area with several good restaurants. So after leaving Yellowstone for the day, we knew we could head back to Island Park and find a fun place to eat.

It was a very comfortable place to stay for our trip, but we would not consider it a “resort”.

The decor was rustic with animal fabrics and accessories - very fitting for the location. The bed and pillows were good quality and comfortable. The rooms were less expensive than those closer to the Yellowstone entrance, but we did not mind the 30 minute drive. We really enjoyed the woods surrounding the hotel buildings. The restaurant on-site was casual and also befitting this location. We enjoyed 2 meals there. We would definitely return to this hotel

The breakfast food available was good but the breakfast area was too small for the number of people present. The precautions against Covid were lacking. For example, you had to reach into the plastic bag of bagels to pull one out - not good. More attention needs to be given to this issue.
