I went in with zero expectations, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how beautifully maintained this property is. It seems like it had just been rehabbed. Freshly painted, very modern looking interiors, very tastefully done up guest rooms (portraits and colors matching each other really well, brand new furniture, very modern bathroom, again spotlessly clean, gorgeous led lit mirror, mini fridge and a microwave! In the room). The entire hotel was spotless clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and inviting with large, broad smiles, welcoming you every time you walked into the door. The check in process was flawless and quick. The free breakfast they offered was pretty good and the breakfast seating area was really spacious and bright and sunny. I would stay here over and over.

Pillows were too soft. Perhaps need a couple that are firmer for neck support.

This hotel is in the very final stages of a complete refresh, so it felt like a brand new hotel! They are still working on it but at this moment it is probably 95% complete. I say they are working on it because the big dumpster and storage containers are still there, but inside there was no evidence of a remodel. Our room and floor were already 100% complete, as was the lobby and breakfast area. I paid about 1/3 less than other hotels I looked at, and my expectation was that it was going to be in disrepair, with the classic signs of an older hotel: peeling wallpaper, fixtures loose in the bathroom, scratches & dents on the furniture, etc. These are things that happen with use but don't really affect the hotel experience as much (my priorities are quiet, dark, and a comfortable bed, and it met all of these with 5 stars). So I came in with low expectations because of the lower price, and left doubly surprised and pleased. Indeed, I can only expect that once this refresh is complete and the dust is cleared away, the price will probably climb up to par with the other hotels in its class in this area. I got lucky... a GREAT place to stay at a much lower price than I expected.

the outside doesn't look tht great in fact it looks rather beat up but the inside was clean, well maintained and I loved my stay. Great breakfast too.

the fact that I wasn't told about breakfast at check in so I didn't even know they had it until my last day there. Also, they were doing repairs or something on a couple of the rooms near me and they were banging on the walls or whatever they were banging on. It sounded like a hammer nailing and it was loud and it was after I got off work, and while I was studying that was my only complaint, but I will say that they were respectful in the fact that they stopped maintenance around 7 PM I believe so it wasn't late into the night that they were doing that

Great front desk and housekeeping staff were professional and inviting.Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was basic but satisfying. It is not far from downtown Normal or Bloomington (10-15 mins at most) Convenient and has lots of shopping,restaurants and grocery stores nearby. For the price it’s definitely a great value if you’re on a budget and need a good night rest is your main priority. I’d recommend it for sure.

Everything was good. Had a few ants I noticed periodically but wasn’t a big issue .

Decent location, staff was friendly. I did not eat, but the breakfast smelled great and plenty of people were eating in the morning there, which is a good sign.

Queen Mattress/Bed leaned on the left as you are looking at the beds leans toward the nightstand. Pillows were a bit too squishy/feathery for my liking, I definitely respect the eco-friendliness of them, however. Beggars can’t be choosers. The “Arc” shower rod installation was botched in room 309, it leans downward forcing the shower curtain to open on the ends, all hotel rooms have that door draft, so it gets chilly when you want to steam your stress of the drive/flight away.

The staff was extremely polite and friendly, bo matter the time of day or if the were working the desk, dining room, or cleaning/room care staff. Even the workers who were performing renovations were polite and friendly. My room/suite was near theory and elevator, but the noise level was minimal, which I appreciated.

I tried to use the microwave in my room (114) towards the end of my stay, and it ran but didn't heat my food, even after several attempts. I forgot to mention that when I checked out,.

I loved the room size and having a separate bedroom area. The hotel was exactly the location we needed as we were visiting friends close by. Breakfast was decent. I enjoyed the indoor pool for my daily workout. The room was serviced every day even though they said every 3rd day.

I felt like the hotel was in need of many repairs. Some of the gym equipment did not work properly. The luggage cart was coming apart. It just felt old. The hand sanitizer dispensers were usually empty. The keys are blank and it was impossible to know which side was the one that worked.

It was a nice get a way for the weekend, I loved that it had a washer and dryer I was able to use. Friendly Staff, my room was serviced daily. Will definitely stay here again.

I wasn't able to enjoy the breakfast but that's only cause I didn't wake up in time. Lol. The view to the room could have been better, but that isn't really controllable. If there was something I didn't like was my room was right in front of the elevator so if I was in the living room area I can hear the people getting on and off. But from the bedroom it was perfect, i wasnt able to hear anything.

I loved the location. It was close to restaurants and stores. They offered full cable channels as well.The hotel is being renovated on one level but it didn't interrupt our stay. They weren't loud at the time. I would definitely stay here again. Great price for the value.

doing some renovation and there were a few things lacking, specifically in the bathroom. no place to hang towels, the hair dryer and picture needed to be wiped down from the dust, no do not disturb sign so housekeeping came in every day, which wasn’t necessary
