It was fine. The bed was comfortable and everything looked fine.

There was some confusion with housekeeping as I was told several times that they would only clean my room every third day. Imagine my surprise when on my first day I came out of the shower and ran into housekeeping. They were in my room everyday. There was no hot tub. The first day I tried the breakfast there was no orange juice and no coffee. I was told there was coffee by the young lady and when I showed her that the coffee was empty she directed me to the decaf. I also enjoy a late afternoon coffee and while there was a coffee dispenser, the coffee was room temperature at best.

The location was convenient for a traveler coming off a long highway trip. It was relatively easy to find, and close to cafes/places where I could quickly find coffee and gas. This was particularly helpful given the limited breakfast hours. I appreciated the cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom, the ample amount of towels and soaps, and the comfortable bed.

It would be nice if the breakfast hours were longer - ending at 9 AM is a bit too early. Also, the morning that I left, it seemed that the cleaning crew was coming by the rooms a bit early as well - before 11 AM, when I imagine many people would still be packing up.

Friendly staff and an easy check-in. Modern look and feel. Spacious and clean room. A very nice breakfast spread. Wish we could have spent a little more time at the hotel rather than arriving to sleep and leaving after breakfast.

We could hear a dripping/water noise from time to time. Might have been from pipes in the walls/ceiling? Also, we could hear the people in the room above us quite late at night.

Everything. Obviously this isn’t a 5* hotel but it felt like it. It was clean, my room (208) was massive. It could have fit another king bed in it and maybe a twin. The staff was great. I was thoroughly impressed. The breakfast was good (juice, yogurt, muffins, cereal, make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage).

I actually had zero complaints. One could say “oh there was a chip in the bathtub” but if you judge a hotel down to that tiny piece of foolishness I hope your home is absolutely perfect.

The location was easy to access and was close to our relatives' home. The breakfast was good, comparable to most motel continental breakfasts. The manager was excellent, very friendly, was clearly visible around the building when he wasn't working the desk. I think this was reflected in the other staff. The maid who asked if we wanted our room serviced was also very friendly. We were in town for a wedding so we didn't spend a lot of time at the motel but the staff is what set this location apart for me.

You have to access the location from a service road so a sign at the traffic light at the intersection of Empire St (the main road) and Eastport Ct (the access road) might be nice. We intuitively figured out that we needed to use Eastport Ct but I grew up in the area and am familiar with most of the roads.

Hotel is in a good location with plenty of parking, and easy to find for someone not familiar with the area. Hotel and room were both clean, and the couple staff members I dealt with were all very nice and helpful. Room and bathroom were both good size. Plenty of outlets (both socket and USB), a microwave, and a mini fridge.

No real downsides. If you plan on using Uber, the hotel is close enough to the airport that rides from the hotel will cost more (for instance trip downtown non-busy cost $35, ride back only cost $8). Other than that, despite having an HD tv, the service is through coax cable, so the tv picture quality is pretty bad. Again, not really any big downsides, just a couple nitpicks.

I went in with zero expectations, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how beautifully maintained this property is. It seems like it had just been rehabbed. Freshly painted, very modern looking interiors, very tastefully done up guest rooms (portraits and colors matching each other really well, brand new furniture, very modern bathroom, again spotlessly clean, gorgeous led lit mirror, mini fridge and a microwave! In the room). The entire hotel was spotless clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and inviting with large, broad smiles, welcoming you every time you walked into the door. The check in process was flawless and quick. The free breakfast they offered was pretty good and the breakfast seating area was really spacious and bright and sunny. I would stay here over and over.

Pillows were too soft. Perhaps need a couple that are firmer for neck support.

This hotel is in the very final stages of a complete refresh, so it felt like a brand new hotel! They are still working on it but at this moment it is probably 95% complete. I say they are working on it because the big dumpster and storage containers are still there, but inside there was no evidence of a remodel. Our room and floor were already 100% complete, as was the lobby and breakfast area. I paid about 1/3 less than other hotels I looked at, and my expectation was that it was going to be in disrepair, with the classic signs of an older hotel: peeling wallpaper, fixtures loose in the bathroom, scratches & dents on the furniture, etc. These are things that happen with use but don't really affect the hotel experience as much (my priorities are quiet, dark, and a comfortable bed, and it met all of these with 5 stars). So I came in with low expectations because of the lower price, and left doubly surprised and pleased. Indeed, I can only expect that once this refresh is complete and the dust is cleared away, the price will probably climb up to par with the other hotels in its class in this area. I got lucky... a GREAT place to stay at a much lower price than I expected.

The location was great, close to so many food choices. Safe. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We asked if we could upgrade to a larger unit because of space and they did it for free- on a Saturday night. Rooms were great. Clean. The rooms were modern, the bathroom was pretty. The shower had pretty wall tile and penny tile for floor. It was so reasonably priced. I would have been satisfied if we paid double. The one bedroom was amazing.

We arrived a few minutes before normal check-in time, and the front reception was not ready for us, so we ended up waiting quite a while, while she tried to resolve some issue, but we were tired having traveled since 4:00 a.m. So we didn’t get off to a good start, but otherwise it was fine, and the breakfast and its staff were good.
