I booked with Home2 Suites because of the curtain so our daughter could nap, but I underestimated how convenient the kitchenette would be with a toddler! The sink, utensils, plates, etc. all came in handy. For transportation, the red line is only a five minute walk, and there are two bus lines which go right by the hotel. This made it so easy to get out to activities but get back quickly for naptime or bedtime. Highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling with small children!

The floors were dirty both in the hall and in the room. Not a huge deal if you don't have small kids; I never really expect hotel floors to be especially clean.

The room was beautiful, well equipped and all the amenities we needed. The front desk was vey helpful and let us do an early check in almost 4 hours before. They also let us leave our luggage between check out and our departing time. Location is good, walking distance (15-20 mins) to almost every main attraction and the train station coming from the O’Hare airport. Breakfast is good enough, they have a couple of options, but I feel that after 2 days, you might get tired of eating the same, but cannot complain! The room comes with a fridge and microwave in case you want to get some delivery or leftovers, and also have basic silverware. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, very nice staff. The breakfast was great as well and there was lots of selection. The rooms are very spacious and nice and are good value for money given the location.

I had some issues with my plane so I couldn't arrive on the date I had booked. The hotel has a policy that they class you as a no-show and cancel your booking but do not refund you. Luckily I got in touch with booking.com to sort this out (they checked me in early even though I didn't arrive until a day later). This was good on behalf of the hotel (fair enough about not being refunded) and it is my fault for not reading the small print, but just a warning to whoever else might have this issue!

Breakfast was more than prepackaged Danish and dry cereal. The building was clean and we'll cared for. The room had a little kitchenette, allowing us more flexibility with our meals. The location was excellent!

The elevators often took a long time in getting to you. Parking was nonexistent (but was stated clearly ahead of time). The hotel's system and WiFi was down several times during our stay (inconvenient but handled well by staff).

Lovely, spacious room. You can adjust desks, table, sofa etc according to your needs. Wifi was perfect and the shower was fine. For this kind of apart-hotel, amenities are good. I really liked iron and coffee maker. Breakfast is basic American one but I was happy with their waffles, biscuits, bananas and coffee. Staffs were helpful and friendly. The walking route to Chicago central is pleasant and safe.

A kettle would have been a nice addition. They lent me a pot and electric cooker, but just a small kettle would be fine. Other than that, I have no major complaint.

Counter staff were extremely friendly, helpful and assisted me in having a great experience here. Breakfast was really tasty, the milk, breads and waffles were all good options I tried! Oatmeal was actually surprisingly good with raisins and other ingredients. The room I was given was very spacious, the TV had great selection of genres, was able to watch UEFA champions league during my stay which was such a delight. Great that they have laundry service too. The hotel also provides a great discount for food delivery with GrubHub if you feel peckish. The mart had nice and useful items if you are willing to pay. Loved that I could grab tea/coffee 24/7 especially on cold nights.

The microwave in the kitchen still smelled of old food heated in the past so I didn't really use it. The work table/desk was great but had another table below it with rolling wheels that I felt was a bit unnecessary - it wouldn't fit inside wholly and we couldn't pull it out properly so it just blocked the way. The pumps for the hair shower gel and body wash had covers that would fall off a bit easy when you press them.

Great location 10 /15 mins walk into magnificent mile. Facilities suited our needs perfectly. Breakfast ample -apples, yogurt, toast/waffles (make your own), bagels, porridge, bran flakes & breakfast muffins with burger type meat and egg or cheese, juices teas coffee. Didn’t find breakfast area overcrowded. Hotel secure, very friendly staff especially doorman. Didn’t use exercise machines or laundry but were available to use.

I generally enjoyed my stay. We spent there 2 weeks. I think it's in a convenient location, close to trains&buses and shops like Target / McDonald's. For us the most important thing was that there was a kitchen with pots & cutlery and induction hob/burner. We bought our own stuff and cooked for the whole stay. The breakfast was included in the price. There were computers & printers for use downstairs. The room was big enough for us 3, and it was clean.

The hotel didn't warn me that they'd charge us on the 7th day of our stay which resulted in my card being put on hold by my irish bank (I was sure I have paid the full amount with the card on the arrival). That should have been explained at the arrival as not everyone is familiar with the American card system... especially people that live outside US. They might find it as unusual as I did.

Odd off-putting smell in the ground floor and in the lobby. This is not welcoming. I don’t know if it comes from the AC or the chemical used for cleaning but this should get addressed. Very average breakfast.

Really great location, a short walk from Michigan Avenue. The neighbourhood is very lively, full of restaurants and animation, yet it is quiet enough to get a good night sleep. Feels very safe, too.

The breakfast is the weakest link on a otherwise very nice hotel. It is comprised by pre-packed junk food (fritatas, hamburguers, omeletes), waffles, some porridge and basic bread. Only butter and jam, no cheese, no ham, sometimes they had milk and yougurts but not always. The food is in a very narrow and busy corridor. The juices were also awful. Basically, nothing is fresh.
