What a beautiful hotel! We loved our corner suite! The views were amazing, the room was clean and luxurious, the free breakfast was great (and made to order) and the free dinner reception was a nice perk. The restaurant had great food. It was also great that the hotel was so close to the Children's Museum and the Natural History Museum (both of which were amazing!).

Parking is a bit tricky having to use the public pay lots (free on weekends though). The pool was chilly (the pool room was not heated and they didn't stock enough pool towels for everyone), but the hot tub was nice.

Love the history behind this hotel and how they have preserved some of the original architecture. The view of the riverfront was really nice. We found all the staff to be very friendly from the front desk to the staff serving up breakfast. Top notch !! You will definitely enjoy the breakfast set up & the coffee shop across the hall is added bonus.

We came with a group of adults with children. We were disappointed in the pool area. I believe there were only 4 tables total. Many families had to place their bags and clothes/ towels, ect. on the floor.

This hotel is gorgeous and well maintained. I love the industrial style and couldn’t be happier with our room accommodations. The pool and hot tub was good. the kids had a blast. The staff is top notch and kept everyone safe and calm during a tornado watch situation. The breakfast was excellent. Armando in breakfast area was a literal angel making multiple to go plates for my kiddos and helping me get everything to my room on the 7th floor! Will happily stay here again!

Very cool building that the hotel was in . The river is a great feature. Our room was clean fresh and very comfortable. The food and drinks in the hotel were.very good too.

Really I liked everything. The city is in the process of revitalization, so there are some buildings that are abandoned, but I see a lot of good creative plans in the works.

It’s much nicer than most Embassy Suites. Loved that it is in a historic building along the river in dowtown Rockford. Loved the HUGE windows in the rooms. And really enjoyed having three on-site restaurants.

The rooms are starting to feel a little worn (but still good). Updating the bathrooms would be high impact.

Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was very clean, ready when we arrived. Complimentary drinks and snacks every night. Pool area was clean and stocked. Wonderful, wonderful experience!!

For access to the better Internet there was a fee. I did not like that...

Very nice decor, comfortable bed, spacious one bedroom king suite and wonderful breakfast.

Having to maneuver around an employee at the coffee station while he was looking at his phone. I had to say excuse me several times as I trying to get a cup, my coffee and then a lid. Very rude!

Free drinks! Golf Sim (which was closed). Mini Game Room (which was also closed). Pool & hot tub. Nice sized TV’s. Restaurant was just ok but good if your too cold to go anywhere else or don’t want to lose your parking spot for the night.

They gotta do something about the parking situation. We were told to park in “lot 35” but that doesn’t belong to them so we had a parking ticket waiting for us upon checkout. Also, that’s a TINY lot, one time I had to sit in my car nearly 20 mins waiting for someone to leave because there was no parking and I didn’t know where else to park. The sign says 2 hour parking after 8AM, so does that mean I need to go out into the freezing cold every two hours to play musical parking spots?

i love that the game room is now open and something else to do.

It was a little busy i wanted to eat before hitting up the pool and waited for a to go order a long time. i got the chef board and salmon blt but the sandwich was really greasy when i bit into it. other than that perfect.

Loved everything about this place. Cool design, so much history behind this building. The cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, from the entrance, lobby, elevators, restaurant, bar, to our suite spotless. Can not say enough good things about this place, the food, the atmosphere, & the outstanding staff. Oh and what a beautiful view at night. Definitely will be back.
