Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly.

A few months before our vacation, I had to move our dates, checking-in on Friday one week later and unfortunately, booking.com changed it to a Thursday check-in. We ended up paying for an extra night that we did not need. Hotel staff was able to book us in their last available room, but were unable to credit us for the extra night. They told us that would need to be done through booking.com. We tried to call, but after being on hold for 30 min, the system disconnected. If someone can pls contact me, that would be great!

helpfulness of breakfast staff room was warm when we first entered

as I checked in I asked for a luggage cart and was told I had to walk down to the second entrance to get it coldness of breakfast room in the evening went to the second entrance two fans blowing cold air. moved the table to get out of the coldness then told needed to move suggested to go downstairs. perfect temperature but could find the light switch moved the table and chairs by the Christmas tree. to get better lighting to play games

We were a group of 8. We were able to eat together at breakfast and the staff told us about the meeting room in the basement where we were able to snack and play cards both nights until around midnight without disturbing anyone. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

One of our group sleeps in a recliner for several medical reasons and so she was quite uncomfortable and unable to sleep. I didn't use the pool but noticed it was quite cloudy. One set of our group thought they booked directly with VanBuren and were charged outrageous Tax Recovery fees, over $70 a night. The desk clerk said she had booked through Expedia and there was nothing they could or would do. No where in her paperwork was there anything to back up that claim.

We always need a wheelchair accessible room. For once, somebody got this right. Bathroom was perfect, roll in shower, accessible door, width and sink was accessible for a wheelchair. It was accessible..AND compliant. Well done

Minus point for the door into the room. Easy to get in, but very hard to get out, if you're in a wheelchair. Door had a hydraulic assist, to slowly close. Needs a pushbutton Door to open and close automatically. It can be done, we've seen it elsewhere.

LOVED EVERYTHING - THE WELCOME WE RECEIVED AT CHECK IN WAS LIKE WE WERE FAMILY - EVEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES FREE AT CHECK IN. THE ENTIRE HOTEL IS SO CLEAN AND WELL APPOINTED WITH BEAUTIFUL FUNISHINGS VERY COUNTRY/AMISH FEEL - MANY AMISH WOMEN CLEANING AND TAKING CARE OF THE FACILITY AND IT WAS SPOTLESS. THE ROOM WAS WONDERFUL LARGE AND COMFORTABLE - SO WORTH THE LITTLE EXTRA MONEY WE PAID

THE REFRIGERATOR WAS VERY SMALL FOR THE SIZE OF THE ROOM - IF STAYING MORE THAN 1 OR 2 NITES AND WANTED TO HAVE SOME PERISHABLE ITEMS IT WASNT LARGE ENOUGH THAT WOULD BE MY ONLY COMPLAINT

Great breakfast, nice pool. Very clean

We stopped a little early, 1230 pm. Just wanted them to know we were in the area. We didn't need our room then. Manager said can't do that until 1 pm. We shopped and came back after 5. They said sorry your on the second floor because you are checking in now. The manager ( man) was abrupt and matter of fact. They lady checking us in later was very sweet and said sorry your on the second floor

Location was great, it is close to everything. Breakfast was excellent..items were restocked as needed, tables were cleaned promptly. The rooms are amazingly clean and well appointed. I've honestly never stayed in a cleaner hotel. We will definitely return next time we visit . Check in was easy and can mostly be done online. Check out can be done completely online. I highly recommend this hotel.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Our room was comfortable and very clean. Appreciated the separate living area from the bedroom. When we had noise from a running/jumping child over us, we called after a couple hours to ask for help as it was after 11:00 and we needed it more quiet for sleep. Certainly understand children running out some energy and hated to complain, but we felt it was time for quiet. Its was handled quietly and quickly. Got very quiet and we were able to sleep well!

Would have liked double sinks in the bathroom. Area was a bit small for two people to get ready, but we managed okay. This just would have been a preference, not a need to stay again.

Clean Facilities, Large Comfortable Room, Great Breakfast We needed a last minute place to stay while traveling late and ended up with a King Suite as a result. This room was massive, exceptionally clean, but most importantly an amazing rest with how comfortable the bed was. Bathroom was very large and very clean. Didn't dip in the pool but it was a nice swim area. Last but not least, breakfast tasted home made and delicious.

Pet Policy Price A $50 pet fee for an overnight is very excessive compared to everywhere else. I rated our stay honestly based on my experience, but if our drive was not another five hours away, we never would have stayed on the pet fee alone.

The hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. The staff was sweet, and when we had an issue with our hot tub handle leaking all over the floor, the front desk immediately helped us. We also have never stayed at a hotel that was so quiet and peaceful- it was lovely. The pool was amazing-very warm and clean. Overall, such a wonderful hotel!

The only thing I didn't really care for was breakfast. I felt there was not a big selection of warm foods, and the area itself was a bit small with so many people in there.
