Hotel's location is great. The utilization of the high school building is fun and interesting. My room was very spacious and well equipped. Hotel was exceptionally quiet/empty during my stay.

The front desk staff doesn't arrive until 8. Coffee is available all the time but the "grab-n-go" breakfast leaves something to be desired. No fruit, only pre-wrapped plain bagels (no jam, jelly, peanut butter or cream cheese), and pre-wrapped muffins. The "market" has some options but is locked until the staff arrives. For those on a schedule, there are no good breakfast options. Rooms on the street can get loud. My 001 room was partially underground and street facing. I wasn't able to open the shades as the foot traffic is at eye level - people can look right in.

Never made it to breakfast on time. We loved the hotel location, it was closed to everything, room was very nice and cozy, and staff was awesome.

There was nothing that we didn’t like at this hotel.. Everything was great. Had an excellent experience there and will rent there again.. I can’t say anything bad about the place, room or staff.

The location was great for where I needed to go.

There weren't enough trash cans and kleenex holders. The lobby could have been cleaned up from day to day. I noticed trash laying around, sweeping should have been done, the counter should have been wiped off and the front desk ladies didn't do any of this. Too many staff sitting behind the desk and doing nothing.

Loved the room decor, it was inviting and homie. It felt like we were in a studio apartment that was equipped with everything we needed. Bonus!

The bed had sink holes on both side. I slept in the middle of the king size bed while my husband stayed in the sink hole. The King sz mattress had certainly run its course and was in need of replacing in room 204.

The hotel was unique with historic charm. The rooms were spacious with tall ceilings, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and nice amenities, including a Keurig machine and a full sized fridge. It was clean and tastefully decorated.

The floors were a little creaky (which could be expected in an old building, but a little annoying nonetheless). The rooms could have used a little more sound-proofing.

I was visiting the prison and you were 5 minutes away so really convenient. The price was nice. I really liked the idea of redoing school to hotel and it was cool.

There was an odd smell in the room. Maybe an air freshener would help. Housekeeping left a windex bottle in the room so I sprayed that around and that helped a little.

Great location in the heart of the city. Walking distance to all the shops. We were there for Z&M Twisted Vines Winery specifically and could walk there.

It is dog friendly which is great, but it might be helpful if doggy bags were provided outside because there were dog droppings all over the grassy areas. I have a dog and always brought a bag, but people do forget to bring a bag sometimes.

I love this place we will be back we love it! Simple and nice! I was able to set up a romantic dinner in our room it was just enough space!

One of the staff members told me I wasn’t allowed in a certain area as it was guest, mind you we had our luggage and room key. She said she didn’t know we were guest. So that was little off putting and how she said it was slightly rude!

The property was in a great location and the room was a GREAT size to my surprise. There were nooks and and different areas within the hotel to just sit down and unwind.

I thought the no elevator would be difficult since I was traveling with an older family member but the parking around the building and access to the doors around the building made it a lot easier than we expected.

We liked the unique atmosphere. The room size was good. There were several activities available.

The couch was uncomfortable and was the only place to sit and watch TV. There was no TV in the bedroom. The breakfast was not good. We knew it was a continental breakfast, but it was very poor quality with very limited choices.
