You can tell it was a very beautiful property at one time. It’s conveniently located, and has good food options.

it could’ve used updating, but really the worst part of the stay is that there were panhandlers in front of the doors asking for cash, and people smoking right at the front door so you have to walk through the smoke to get in.

I ended up having to work extra hours.. which sucked on my part.. so when I got back to the hotel I wasn't sure what room we were in and my phone had died I exited the elevator to make sure it wasn't in somebody else's way and saw a plug on the wall which was very convenient to try and charge it I accidentally left my card in the elevator when someone came up in the elevator stopped at that floor there were people waiting to get on and had told them about how my CRS was activated I couldn't remember anything I was one floor off from being able to get back to my room with my friend and the next 2 hours was a bunch of hoo-ha.. because as the elevator was closing I was saying that that's my card the guy was mentioning to the other's house someone had left their card so as he came back up the elevator instead of bringing me back the card the other people took the card to the front desk leaving me stranded because I couldn't go up to the next floor I couldn't call my friend to tell him where I was I couldn't do anything a maintenance man took pity on me and help me get to where I was going and he was I finally got my friend enough battery charge so that my friend could open the door and tell me which room I was in I couldn't believe I was only one floor off front desk was nice enough to grant me an extra hour so I could at least take a shower before getting back on the road I was very grateful tried cleaning room up so it wouldn't leave too much for them housekeeping to do since we had stayed over and basically I was in their way extremely grateful..

there used to be rooms where you had the tub out in the room I like that a lot because you can watch TV kind of talk to somebody else while enjoying a bubble bath the entire time the Jets felt really good on my back especially after traveling a lot and now that I'm suffering from swelling and such I just couldn't picture anything better than one of those rooms and I don't think they have them anymore that makes me sad

Debra from the front desk caught an error with our reservation and took care of it. I initially booked with Priceline but received the same room for $10 less with Booking.com. I asked Debra about my bill because it looked like I was paying the higher rate from Priceline. Debra investigated and sure enough, we were. Even though I received a cancellation number with Priceline, Priceline did not send the cancellation to Bally's, so I had two reservations. Debra canceled the one that should have been canceled and charged the lower rate with Booking.com. I truly appreciate Debra's professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Thank you, Debra! I tried to write this information in the area that asked me to sum up my stay, but I need more room. I want Bally's, formerly Eldorado, to know that I LOVE the character of this hotel. The beautiful ceiling outside, above the driveway area is an indication that I am about to walk into an elegant hotel. First time there, by the way. When I walked through the doors, the floors were beautiful, the reservation area was welcoming with the timeless wooden front, topped with the elegant granite or marble, and the lighting was very attractive. I loved seeing the valet area, which is fading away at most of the family style hotels. The bedroom was gorgeous and spacious, and the bathroom was lovely. The marble flooring, granite or marble countertops, and the material used in the shower were beautiful. The exquisite, large, light-changing ceiling fixture in between the escalators was breath-taking! Every employee we made eye contact with were friendly, helpful, and attentive. This includes Debra and the other employees at the reservation counter, the security staff members, the ladies at the casino customer service window, the young lady at the front restaurant "to-go area", and the friendly and helpful young man in the gift shop on Sunday morning!!!

The bathroom remodel is very nice but it is now time for maintenance to go back and re-touch the remodeled items to make them look new again. For example, we were in room 1635... The bedroom was nice, smelled good, spacious, and overall beautiful. The bathroom had a dirty area in the crevice of the outside shower wall near the floor, the wallpaper was crinkled near the wall phone, and the beautiful lamps over the sink area had chipped areas on the pole underneath the shade. There was a dead spider in the bathtub, but the spider could have died after the bathroom was cleaned. The above areas that need to be re-touched are handled by maintenance, in collaboration with housekeeping.

It was a great value. Hotel was very clean. Staff was very pleasant although not very knowledgeable. Not crowded. Nice amenities. Casino personnel were very nice.

Small stuff. No drinking glasses in the room. No body wash/ liquid soap. Ice makers on all floors not working. Wanted to have an adult beverage with dinner-bartender took the keys home so no drinks for anybody. Hotel staff was unaware of casino operations. Just weird little stuff. Everything needed a good oiling; escalator, outside doors, room doors, elevators.

It was a great overall stay. The meal was very good. Skipped on breakfast here. Casino was good. A good time here. Overall, it was nice stay.

The steak dinner was very good except for the asparagus was partially burned, not chard. And the mashed potatoes were over salted. Albeit the steak was perfect and the main point of the meal, at $75.00, the vegetables should have been better. The smell of smoke in the casino, it's till be expected, while some casinos have closed rooms for smoking.

This was a great stay. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but it was really nice. I really liked the deep garden tub, very relaxing and peaceful. Had a refrigerator and the beds were really comfortable. New towels and sheets. Coffee maker and small water bottles ....

They can at least have a microwave in the rooms but I get it, they want people to go to the restaurants for food purposes. 😊 I couldn't reheat my restaurant food lol

Room was clean, staff for hotel was great and friendly, good location for things to do ,room had good view..

Website said smoking or no smoking option, but their is not ,not a big deal but expected to be able too if gave me a option again not a problem.. when staying with no microwave they should have vending machines with food option as we were so hungry later in day would have to leave property to get anything their are soda vending but 9th floor wasn't working.. went to bed without drink first night. The biggest problem was dealers at table just not friendly and didn't want to talk really. Guess that's ok but not for me i like a friendly face and act like they like their job I would of played the tables more but after first table and her attitude got me to get up and play only slots rest of my stay..

The scenery of the river and boardwalk from my window was amazing.

The comfort of the bed was a little too firm for my comfort, it didn’t have enough covers on the bed so it was cold, the slamming of the neighbors doors late at night and the main thing is I had to go downstairs to the restaurant and ask the cashier to warm my food up then go back upstairs to eat. I think for the price ir should have microwaves in some of the rooms. Plus the biggest surprise was the $50 per night fee I know it said some fees apply separately but I wasn’t expected to pay $100 extra I’m so glad I had it available in my card.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy check in/check out. Great location and easy in and out with perfectly located parking which is FREE! The casino look fabulous, walkways and lobby areas smelled amazing. The was very roomy, comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was huge!! but needs updating.

The room was dusty….all flat surfaces looked as if they haven’t been wiped down lately. The cabinet that held the mini fridge hasn’t been wiped down in months!!! The bottom of the garden tub hasn’t been wiped down recently. Although the bed was really comfortable….the pillows were not. All 4 pillows were hard and standard size rather than king which would better fit the bed.

The room was clean, I liked the large screen TV, and it swiveled. Large room for the price. Huge bathroom with a separate bathtub. The water was super hot! Really enjoyed my stay.

The Casino adds a strong fragrance to the air-conditioning. I really didn't like it! I had to turn the air-conditioning off in my room. I stayed on a Tuesday night, and the restaurants and convenience stores were closed. They are open Wednesday thru Sunday.
