Everything was clean

The hotel said it would give certain amenities (popcorn & s mores) then when you ask them at the front desk the person said no & they can't count how many wash clothes to give when you ask for them. There is no room service like cleaning the room unless you stay more than 3 nights but at least give us the number of clean wash clothes we ask for. I say don't mention that on the brochure in the room if you are not going to give it. This is as honest you can get about this hotel. By no means I say this is a bad place to stay but I am just stating what happened & my experience there.

A clean and comfortable room, friendly front desk staff, fast and convenient check-in and check-out. The location and environment are also at my expectation. It sits outside downtown Bar Harbor and is separated from the seashore by ME route 3. Some people may prefer staying in downtown for convenience but I really enjoyed its quietness and safety here. It also has an on-site swimming pool and I saw a few people enjoyed it in the late afternoon. Parking lots right in front of the guestroom are very convenient to anyone who drives a car for trip into Acadia National Park.

Not really anything significant but it would be helpful to have a small guest parking area in the front. Also, it would be great to have more variety on the breakfast food bar. Maybe things will change when the true tourist season arrives in June to September.

We chose this location because of its proximity to the entrance of the National park, and that was wonderful. the room was clean and well-equipped it’s towels. We stayed in the king suite, and our children loved their own little room with separate beds so they weren’t keeping each other up all night (huge when they are hiking and busy all day). The beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good, too! Honestly, it was perfect for our needs.

My older son didn’t like the eggs. That is the only complaint from our stay.

Deluxe king room was exactly what was advertised - with sitting areas, huge bed, fridge, microwave and separate space for clothes / luggage. Outside decked sitting area very pleasant. Complimentary tea / coffee with biscuits in Lobby area - very welcoming. Outside appearance does not do this property justice - very pleasantly surprised when we got to our room.

Reception staff were not particularly welcoming. Breakfast was adequate - but not great.

The website makes it look much more elegant than it is, but it's decent. Very friendly staff . Very nice breakfast is included - they nailed this feature. Strong WiFi. Has a nice outdoor pool. Big parking lots, many buildings. Dark light blocking window shades.

$375 direct, I paid $450 through booking.com. These places are so overpriced. If you just come to the area you'll find lots of mom and pops that don't advertise online and charge less than half. Right up and down the same street.

Check in after hours was seamless- just as he hotel promised, everything was ready for us, even though we arrived after check in hours had ended. Breakfast was very nice - we had small children with us, and it was really good not to have to go far in search of breakfast in the morning. The room had plenty of lights and outlets, bathroom had a tub and plenty of towels. The room had a mini-fridge, microwave and a safe. There was also a small coffee maker that ew didn't end up using, since the lobby had coffee for the taking. There was a small playground right outside our room. Once it stopped raining, it provided a great way to entertain our kids. The location was great. The staff at the front desk were very knowledgable about Acadia National Park and where to get started.

As with all hotels nowadays, we had clean our room and take out our own trash every day. Considering the price we paid for our stay, having to clean your own room stings.

We loved the cleanliness and the location of the property. There was plenty of room to to unpack and it was easy to store food and drinks in the small refrigerator. It was conveniently located to the park and the town without having to deal with the hassle of the traffic in the park or town. If I come back, I would definitely check here first.

The parking situation was beyond frustrating. We could only get parking close to our room if we had to run back during the day. The hotel could add more spaces or enforce a 1 spot to 1 room policy. Also, the breakfast was lackluster at best but it was calories for a long day of hiking.

Room was clean and in a convenient location.

My credit card was billed one week before my trip. I sent a message to the property three days before arrival asking to shorten my reservation by one day. The desk associate stated she checks the messages everyday and never saw anything and would not shorten my stay. I paid for two days but was only able to stay for one.

It was a great choice! Clean and close to everything! Minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. The room was clean. It's just a nice place to relax. Nice seating area out back with a firepit and volleyball area.

Breakfast was ok, just don't expect gourmet. It filled the hole with lots of variety. Cereals, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, toast, eggs, muffins.

Location is 7 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Room was clean and refreshing. Breakfast had all of the normals (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, juices). Did not swim in the outdoor pool (due to lack of time) but did enjoy the lawn chairs most evenings as we relaxed from a long day of hiking and sightseeing. All in all, it was a great stay.

The only 2 things that could have been better: would have enjoyed a set of fresh towels on our 3rd day. Yes we got them at the front desk, but a switch out of towels would have been nice on the third or fourth day of the stay. The other was the trash cans around the property. Most days they were overfilled by noon and were not emptied till late night. Very minor items if I am being honest.
