The rooms were clean, well-appointed (for a reasonably priced motor inn) and comfortable. We weren't expecting luxury at this price so we were pleasantly surprised with the overall quality. We've stayed in a lot worse places for more money, so this one's an obvious choice for a return visit, next time we're riding through the area. The beds were decent, the mini-fridge was pretty spacious, and there was plenty of space in the room. Check in was easy - they texted me the access codes for the rooms early in the afternoon on check-in day, and because I'd paid in advance we didn't need to check out, we just got on the bikes and rode away. Plenty of parking, and the building is set well back from the busy Route 1 so road noise wasn't a problem. Easy access to fast food, shopping, gas and coffee. Downtown Ellsworth was also an easy half-mile / 15 minute walk. If you stay here, definitely check out Airline Brewing on Main Street!

Cleanliness. Very clean with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom has been updated with a modern shower (no tub in my room, which is fine for me). It is within walking distance of two supermarkets, multiple stores, and several restaurants. The price, for in-season, is very fair. This place is great for a single traveler.

While the bathroom is big, the other room is extremely small and dark; only two small windows. Stairs (I was on the second story) are a bit slippery in the rain BE CAREFUL! I was alone, but if my girlfriend had been with me, this room is too small.

There was no continental breakfast, but the hotel provided muffins and orange juice in the room’s mini fridge. Water bottles and candy were also provided in the room. The Check In and check out processes were very efficient. The shower was huge and the room was well decorated. Also, A nice central location to restaurants and shopping. Easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

The vending machine didn’t work. Also, not the hotel’s fault, But there are no cross walks nearby.

When we walked into the room they had just cleaned and the smell of bleach was in the air so we knew it was clean! Absolutely loved the modern faucet in the bathroom. Decor was beautiful.

The fact that contact was only… via text. What happens if someone doesn’t have a cell phone or forgot to bring it? There was a sign on the office door that they weren’t here but we could call. ( It was 2:45 pm — check in at 3 pm/ we had requested to check in at 2 pm).

there was plenty of shopping and we were very close to Acadia National Park.

There was no one at the establishment to view my ID or give me a key or code for the room. apparently the property is under construction? this was not information conveyed by booking. we had to call the phone number on the office door to find out where we were staying. this took extra time and effort, when all we needed was a place to rest without the hassle of placing a phone call to find out what was going on and why no one was there to greet us.

Rooms were updated inside, very nice. Little snacks, muffins, juice, bottled water and coffee maker were available. Easy check-in, no key, just a code to get in the door.

I would have preferred something that had a little property around it. It was right in the middle of a commercial district. But the inn itself was fine.

clean, comfortable room recently updated. great shower. on the road to Acadia with lots of stores nearby (and downtown Ellsworth about a mile away. we had room 27 which (along with 37 upstairs) was furthest from the High St so fairly quiet. would stay here again

Very efficient check in and check out process. Complimentary candy and water bottles were a nice touch.

Hair dryer could have been higher quality, and the overall room lighting could have been brighter in the corners. These are nitpicky items. Overall, very satisfied.

No breakfast

Poor bathroom design. Shelf over toilet is asking to have something drop in toilet and it did. Soap dispenser should be on either front or back shower wall. It is on side wall wear you bump it with your shoulder. The overhead light didn't work. The room was very clean which was great and the parking area was clean and spacious. The bed mattress was superb!!!

Updated bathroom was great. Beds were comfortable. Microwave and frig were available. Loved the little table and patio chairs outside the room.

My son found traces of hair under the top sheet if I had known I would have said something and I'm sure the situation would have been corrected. Refrigerator wasn't that cold.
