Room was modest: no telephone, no tv. But it was perfectly clean, and it had "What a View!!," which is why we were there. The room has a private, covered patio which opens onto a larger shared patio which is, in turn, part of the extended wharf. There is a shared indoor space with sofas and the like (which we did not use), and a kitchen where coffee was available. The Inn is connected--physically and commercially--to a nice restaurant, open for breakfast through dinner--good, filling meals. It is a short walk to another Inn with a restaurant, and on week ends the nearby brewery is available.

Very nice place. Dark room at night. Beautiful view of the water.

The smell in the room. I wasn't told that the rooms had been recently painted. I found out that the floor in my room had just been redone so that might have been the smell I was getting. I have a very sensitive nose and got all stuffed up and a headache. Was given the opportunity to move rooms my second night stay after 6pm. I said I was OK to stay. Having to move rooms that late was inconvenient. I asked if there was anything they could to for my next stay and didn't hear back. If it wasn't for that my stay wild have been 100% perfect.

Location and view were perfect and the kitchen and restaurant on site, sunrise, sunset were also wonderful. Each room has a sitting area by the water. The windows open for fresh air. Whale watch tours and the town are within walking distance. Dolphins and bald eagles came right by our room. The price was great. It's not fancy, but it was my favorite place to stay on this trip. I stayed at a +400/night mansion in town Bar Harbor but this was WAY better to me. You can visit Campobello Island, Canada, Eastport ME and there's a nice state park nearby too. If your an adult that likes nature and less populated areas, then you would like this too!

Thin walls. Thus wasn't a problem at all for me and my husband, but here is no A/C or TV. Neither were missed! It's cool enough. Windows open and the view beats TV any day! In fact, it was our second day there when I realized we didn't have a TV in the room. Lol! The view was all we needed!

The rooms were comfortable and the building itself was pretty cool - it looked like it had been an old fish/seafood processing facility that had been converted, with lots of the original beams & structure. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent (fantastic seafood, good selection of local beers) and they let us park our motorcycles in the secured barn overnight. It's a cute little hotel that creates a really friendly vibe. Excellent for a couples getaway or (like us, and another group we met in the hotel's common room) a group of motorcyclists out on a tour.

It's a very nice little apartment. The first thing I noticed was the huge windows looking out to the ocean. What a view! With your own privacy balcony to enjoy the scenery. I also noticed that the drapes were see-through white. So, you will be up with the sunrise. There was plenty of room. It was very nice to have a full-size kitchen. It was all around comfortable. A huge closet, with plenty of extras. Check in was super easy. We never saw anybody, just went by messages that were sent to us by the owner.

I tip toed around because the floors make a real lot of noise, and I felt bad for the people below us. The water had a dark tint to it. But it was fine, just noticeable. Very limited TV channels, especially kid type channels. And the kitchen really was a life saver, because unless you have a passport to get into Canada, in the off-season, there is no where near by for dining. We were ok with it, but surprised.

Location was perfect, with the most breathtaking, unbelievable views. It is located walking distance into the very cute, quaint little town of Lubec and also offers a delicious restaurant located on the working fisherman's pier.

Our room was located at the end of the walk, so take note if bringing big or heavy luggage because it might be a bit of a walk. The shop had so many cute items inside and the restaurant had so much yummy food, I didn't want to spend the money, but I did! :)

This hotel has two different room styles. I thought I was booking a room in the old sardine factory not a room in one of the houses up the hill based on the pictures. I did not get the room I booked. Was quite disappointed will not book this hotel through booking.com again! Room was nice but not what I wanted.

The room location I wanted to be in the sardine factory not in one of the houses up the hill! Room was fine except for the stairs and the distance from the restaurant.

This was a unique stay due to the hotel being made out of an old sardine processing plant. The rooms are long and narrow, very large space with seating area towards the wharf. Part of the building is a restaurant with delicious, decently priced food. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the little town of Lubec so much we were daydreaming of selling everything and moving there. Had an awesome time.

I was hoping for the room with the deck outside. My fault for not checking first.

The location is wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The meals at the restaurant were very good.

In our room there was a combination hardwood floor and a tile floor . Where the floors came together there was a two to three inch lip. I tripped on the lip and went down hard on the tile floor. I didn't get hurt but that situation might need some attention. The clientele was older while we were there and my concern is that someone might get hurt tripping on the floor like I did. The refrigerator froze everything we put in it. I couldn't find the control to change the temperature.

The location on the warf in Lubec is perfect. The room is luminous, fairly spacious and the bed comfortable. There is a convenient room and kitchen where you can keep food and have breakfast or a light meal. The restaurant is good and fair priced. Lubec is charming and the Campobello Park is not to be missed, take time to visit the whole island.

We had the Tides room at the end of the corridor, close to the public terrace and it was noisy at meal times, fortunately the restaurant closed early. We will ask for another room if ever we go back.
