Location to Cambridge and family destinations

No dislikes

One, I was allowed to check in earlier than the check in time. Two, the proximity to TD garden wasn’t very far, even walkable if you’re a walking type person. Last, breakfast at this property was wonderful ( scrambled eggs, sausage links, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cereals/oatmeal, fruits and etc ). Also if you need to shop, there’s a couple of malls/shopping centers nearby this stay which was again the best part of this stay.

WiFi can be better but luckily I had good phone service.

Comfortable hotel. Clean and with all the basics that you need. Rooms are super spacious. It is well located for when I travel for business and near Cambridge Street with a lot of restaurants and services. It’s well located to access the city center from there too. I will definitively stay here again!

Breakfast is ok but could be a bit more diverse in variety (specifically there is not enough fruit options). But you also have great places to have breakfast in the city, so it’s a nice excuse to go out.

The hotel has excellent location in terms of access to metro/subway Lechmere station which brings you to the downtown area or transfer to any of the other metro lines. It also has bus service to Harvard - which is also very convenient. The room was a standard Holiday Inn Express rooms - so no surprises there. Breakfast was excellent, as always. And there is a large supermarket nearby - if you need it.

Although not a big deal, the view we got was on the main road which has some construction sites and a lot of traffic. I presume the other side - overlooking the neighborhood would be more pleasant. The price was unexpectedly high - I guess it was the season, as all other hotels were within that range - this is just an advice if you can plan your trip around different dates.

Clean. Close to grocery & fast food. Awesome 4 story antique shop a couple blocks away. We loved the breakfast fitattas. Yum! Also the pancake machine. The staff was friendly, helpful, and hard working. Our room was very clean every day…we left a good tip for housekeepers. Love the tiny dove soap bar for handwashing & the bottles of dove in the shower. We will stay here again:).

I was hot the entire time. The air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own & only ran on low. Also, housekeeping did not have any fans, which would have helped. The bacon was delicious, but undercooked for my taste every time. The elevators are crazy slow & one makes a loud clunk around the third floor. Could use some ventilation in the elevators.

We all liked the Room; very comfy for a party of Four (2 adults and two teenagers) Despite not having a pool or gym, the facility has a lovely dining area inviting guests to access the food and beverages easily! I didn't realize the express meant not a full hot breakfast. However, some days we got bacon and hashbrowns, which is a plus The housekeeping staff was great (A1), the room was always cleaned at the time we returned after all day of staying out The Kitchen/dining staff was also great (A1), their attitude was always happy, and even at rush hour we never missed any food/beverages

The front desk staff could be more service-oriented/communicative. We spent six days, and we passed through the front desk at least three times during the day (2 shifts), and not even one time we got greetings from the person at the front desk! The only feedback we got was whenever I greeted them.

The hotel was clean and well kept up. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good for hotel buffet style type of breakfast. They had plenty of parking during my stay.

I reserved a room with a king bed but was given a room with two queen beds. Maybe because I checked in early? I did not ask to change. After the first night the cleaning service did not make our bed, or change our sheets, maybe because I somewhat made the bed myself?

This hotel was reasonably priced. And the location was perfect. We walked to the museum of science and into the city. We rented a car as we were visiting family outside the city as well. We were able to park at the hotel no problem and the parking fee was included in our room pricing. Breakfast was very convenient and had plenty to choose from. Staff was very pleasant.

I lived in NY. I came Boston with my son for his educational trip. I love Boston city, nice and clean. People are very polite, educated and helpful. I set up my mind tha my son will try to get admission at MIT or Harvard university. I stayed at Holliday inn hotel. I loved it, nice and properly clean. This hotel is inside the city. Restaurant, Park, university everything are near, not far. If I go again Boston I will stay this hotel.. Thank you ❤️

I like everything. Nothing dislike me.

The reception staff were excellent, particularly Tyler! They were all so friendly and helpful. We were there for the marathon and there were so many other runners there too. The room was bigger than expected and was quiet - we actually even heard birdsong in the mornings! The shower was massive and the room was really clean. It was less than 5 mins walk to Lechmere station and if you take the exit where you walk through the bus station it is really quick. You can actually see the hotel from the train platform. It is easy to get into town and to the airport from the hotel too. It was only a few stops from Park St where you could have a lovely walk through Boston Common and the Public Garden into town if you wanted to get outside! Breakfast changed every day and there was a decent choice. It is not gourmet, and there are paper plates and plastic forks, but when it is included in the price I can't complain. The hotel is on a main road and a very short walk to a bunch of shops like Marshalls and a supermarket to the left of the entrance. We also ordered pizza from Arams and collected it which was 3 mins walk away! It is on Cambridge St and there are a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops and even a bus that can take you to Harvard there. It is also a 15 min walk to a shopping mall near the station which had so many shops if that is your thing. If you are staying a few days I totally recommend you get the $22.50 Charlie Card to travel around. We used it on buses and trains and it made it so easy to travel around.

I liked it all. But, being marathon weekend the hotel was VERY expensive. But ALL hotels in Boston were expensive which is just how it is over that weekend. If I was being really picky, real plates and cutlery at breakfast would be great, but I can see how that adds to having to have someone clean them all rather than just throwing the paper plates and plastic forks away. But it would help the environment a bit!
