Jeff provided the amazing history of the building and fun facts about the area itself which was an added bonus for this lovely property. Our room was immaculate and well appointed, we controlled the heat and air and the staff was eager to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We loved the fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast yet so many other patrons, as well as ourselves would have loved to have eggs and/or a variety of healthy alternatives for breakfast so we could hit the day without trying to find a meal that could hold us over. This would not keep us from coming again as the positives outweighed this small inconvenience.

Interesting decor and furniture, period character of the building. Very clean and welcoming. Coffee, cookies and several other treats available even after 9pm at night. Brenda was very welcoming and informative, Jeff in the morning was equally as pleasant, informative and welcoming.

Surprised that it was only a continental breakfast. Having said that, the self service buffet was perfectly well presented, varied and very nice. The roses growing around the sign to the property need pruning.

Ashley was amazing as our room was on the 3rd floor and we were on a long trip (and at the end of the trip) and wanted a lower floor as too much luggage. She helped us to our room with our luggage as she said we booked the best room in the property. She was right. it was gorgeous. Also we had stayed there back in 2017 and it was a bit ...off...Now newly renovated and tastefully done.

No Refrigerator in the room. Always like a small refrigerator in the room, especially for Tanglewood.

Beautiful place. Lovely lounge and tavern area. Staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was solid. Bed very comfy. Fluffy towels and washclothes.

Water just warm in the shower. Decided to book a slightly more expensive room (Deluxe King) because it had a fancy little parlor area in the picture, but our room didn't have it :/. No big deal, I get not all rooms are the same in an old inn like that. It just was a bit of an 'Aw man. Where's the little parlor area I was excited about?.' Place was still nice though :)

I loved the décor and the breakfast room. Breakfast was continental with bagels, muffins, cream cheese ,granola, yogurt, coffee in a quaint cozy fireplace room. The largest raspberries I've ever seen. The grounds are large and lovely with places to sit and enjoy. The bed was comfortable , Bathroom was large . The house is not new and has creaky floors which adds so much to its character. Also enjoyed touring Edith Wharton's home The Mount

Perfect location with free parking, very close to the shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely property and beautifully decorated throughout. The lounge to socialise in was great too. Our room was great and the roll top bath was a real treat.

We had an issue with the plumbing which was noisy all night. I tried 3 times to find staff at the desk when it was supposed to be manned but there was no one there. When I was able to report this a staff member came to look at the issue immediately. Just one of those things really!

The Inn is an authentic treasure and glimpse at the past in the heart of Lenox. In the evening I enjoyed sipping tea in the parlour next to the baby grand, while settling in on the sofa with a book. In the morning, a wonderful assorted continental breakfast in the cozy, intimate tea room. And my room! A claw-foot tub! Spindle bed! Duvet! Best sleep in a long time! The evening Manager Ron was especially kind and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I can't wait to return!

Excellent staff, informative, responsive to questions and requests promptly. Breakfast though no hot food is the best we’ve had with a great selection of whole healthy foods, entire building clean and historically appointed. Will visit their property again!

Needs better instructions for Apple TV, the instructions are outdated and don’t work. Yikes. Stairs and more with my broken toe.

Great central location to the town center of Lenox. Wonderful staff, especially Jeff who knows the area very well. Satisfying continental breakfast each morning with a lovely dining room or several inviting porch or yard areas to eat at. Very comfortable, immaculate rooms.

Location is great, In town, easily walkable, but off the Main Street so still quiet. Comfy beds. Good price.

Breakfast was disappointing (tho free).. Plastic wrapped muffins, granola bars. Bagels and butter. Even if they can’t manage to bake something fresh there are great bakeries in town who could provide. I guess for the price it’s hard to complain. Room was drafty but the heat worked well. Had to crank it to counter the draft.
