Terri was very friendly and a great host

When I booked I had put that there were 2 adults and 3 children, and I booked a 2 room suite, unpon arrival Terri told me that I only booked for 2 audit. Also I try on Wednesday to cancel for our Saturday night stay and the gentleman I spoke with said they don’t do refunds I would have to use it at a later date both my husband and I were sick and I feel 3 day was more than enough days before to cancel

Every morning Terri would prepare and set out a full breakfast. It was wonderful. We sat with 2 other guests which made our experience even more fantastic. We shared our travel/life experiences. This is what life is all about. Terri made sure all of us had a hot meal and coffee to start our day. It was like being in our own home and visiting an old friends. The last morning we sat and talked with Terri over coffee. We miss her already. She made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay the best.

We didn’t like leaving. The house was warm and friendly, beautifully decorated, and very clean. A definite reflection of our hostess. We felt like we were leaving an good friend.

The house was built in the 1800's and from the uneven floors to the original glass it's like stepping back in time with modern conveniences and comforts. The hostess/manager is a jewel and does an exceptional job of making her guests comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

A mirror in the second room of the Hemingway suite would have been nice, but was a very minor inconvenience. Can't think of anything we didn't like.

It was warm and inviting. Felt like we were at home. The host, Terry, was very charming and had breakfast waiting for us every morning. The B & B was close to shopping, restaurants and the Charlevoix Bay, where you can rent boats, jet skis, kayaks or take a cruise on a catamaran. Absolutely had a wonderful time visiting Charlevoix and definately will be back.

The house could really use a good coat of paint on the outside, including the porch and steps to improve curb appeal. A loose floor board going upstairs to the bedrooms needs repaired under the carpeting along with a board on the back steps that guests use to the side entrance of the house. Both feel very unstable. Other than that, I think the place was great!

We were able to easily walk to downtown Charlevoix. The room was perfectly appointed and very spacious. Terry was the best part of the whole stay. She tried to help us with our bags and consistently asked if we need anything else. We woke to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and freshly baked cinnamon rolls. She also had fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese, English muffins, jam and juices. We enjoyed an evening of talking with Terry and another couple (guests) on the front porch. Very relaxed stay and we felt we were leaving a good friend that we found in Terry, so we needed to hug her goodbye. We would recommend this BNB to any and everyone!!!

It was like walking into a warm home. The sweet little lady was amazing. She made sure that every one was good and comfortable. The food that she made was so good ( Breakfast ) Kudos!!!!!!! We will try to come back in the future and have already told so many of our friends about you place. Thank you!!! Amy Davis.

The manager doesn't use salt or pepper when she cooks, which may bother some people. I personally didn't mind at all and found her cooking delicious. Terry is extremely welcoming and chatty and even though I'd never met her before then, it didn't take long before I felt like I'd known her for ages. The house is warm, welcoming, and well-kept, with shiny clean floors, cozy furniture, lots of natural light, and a stone's throw from downtown Charlevoix. The room we stayed in was so cozy and homey that we fell asleep within minutes of snuggling into bed. The sheets were crisp and clean and it was clear that a lot of attention went into the room's upkeep. Staying at the Charlevoix House- The Northside feels less like staying with a stranger and more like staying with family. I highly recommend and will absolutely return there again in the future.

Honestly, the only complaint I had was that the bathroom is a little cramped, which is through no fault on the part of the owner. It's just a feature on the house. Everything was lovely.

Terri was a great host with a superb sense of humour, she made our stay very enjoyable, we felt very welcome and like at home. She also made very good breakfast (we got French toast with blueberries) at any time that was convenient for us. The house itself is very nice, 5 minutes walk from "downtown" Charlevoix with shops and restaurants and very close to both lakes. The Lightouse room itself was not the biggest, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was great value for money, so we knew what we had booked.

I LOVED EVERYTHING, I can't say enough good about this fantastic place. The location, comfort,cost were fantastic, but the reason I will be back is the host Terry. She makes you feel like your visiting a friend at home. I already booked a room for next year's Charlevoix Marathon Weekend. THANK YOU TERRY FOR EVERYTHING.

The hostess was very nice and interesting. Accommodations were thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious! The place was clean and serene. We booked the Hemingway Suite. Our room included a twin bed with a trundle which were surprisingly comfortable! My parents had the King room of the suite, which was also very comfortable.

Decor more in keeping with the age and style of the house would be nice. I would love to see linens upgraded a bit. The bathroom was nicely done, but the clawfoot tub was a challenge for my elderly parents.
