Friendly staff, clean facility. The complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby is much nicer than those dingy machines most hotels have in the room. Great water pressure in the shower.

The walls in the room are paper thin. We heard our neighbours talking and watching tv..etc. We were very aware that they could hear us as well, which made me uneasy. Incredibly slow service both in room and in restaurant. Our signature drink took half an hour to get to our table, and they were both missing key ingredients. The naughty snowman had no fugde rim, and the almond joyful was practically a shot (in volume). The glass was nearly empty like it had spilled or been drunk. They were very disappointing for $14 drinks. Dinner took an hour and a half, and the restaurant had 5 tables.

We stay here quite a bit and always love our stays. even with the construction going on everything was great and as clean as can be. everyone you deal with is extremely friendly and helpful. the newer arcade and prize area are amazing, and the kids loved the rope climbing set up, it would be nice for a better price for that though. our only complaint we have about Bavarian Inn is the beds. they need an upgrade for sure. When charging the rates they do i should expect a good night's sleep on a comfy bed. other than that, we are pleased as always and will most certainly be back in the future.

Beds

Everything was so close with plenty of sidewalks, etc to get everywhere. Huge selection of stores for shopping, places to eat. The Golden Ticket Trolley was wonderful and the guide was just Fabulous! So much fun. The shops inside the Bavarian Inn Lodge had a huge variety of items, I was able to get a couple of Christmas gifts there. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the tower part which was right beside where they are building the huge waterpark, so it was quite dusty and noisy from that (hotel gave us earplugs). And not enough parking space due to construction. It will be wonderful for families after it is finished, which is supposed to be yet i

Loved the comfortable king sized bed and the theme of the hotel. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to covered bridge and downtown. Educational bits on the television was extremely informative. Enjoyed the spa and the pool.

Small bathroom, body wash by sink outside the shower to use to wash hands, Brochure stated that arcade was free for one hour each day only to find out that you had to buy a card for a dollar to play. Wasn't stated anywhere, had to find out from another hotel guest. Towels by hot tub would have been nice. Parking lot was full on a Thursday evening. Wish hot cocoa was offered along with the coffee bar for those of us that don't drink coffee.

The room was exceptionally clean! (The management is to be commended on the cleanliness and start training other hotel managers!) The bed was super comfortable with high quality sheets. Because we were there on a Sunday night, the construction crews were not present till the next morning. Dinner was just okay, in my opinion, due to just fast food downstairs. Monday morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Signage! Lack of sign directing me to the office. I had to ask other travelers where the office was. I then had to walk from one entrance to the office entrance with my cane. Distances inside the hotel to the restaurant from where our room was was in the wing near the Water Park were substantial with a number of corners.

Lots of activities for children. We didn’t have any with us but still enjoyed our stay. The location is superb, grounds are lovely, decor great and staff was pleasant. Rooms were large. Breakfast in Oma’s restaurant was good but a little pricey.

Please put a Keurig type coffee maker in each room! It is not enough to have one microwave on a floor with a line each morning to heat water. I appreciate the free coffee and tea in the lobby however I would have loved a cup while getting ready in my room and I’m not interested in going to the lobby after rolling out of bed in the morning. Lorelei Lounge could use some updating.

There was no complimentary breakfast, but there are 2 restaurants in the hotel. Kids really enjoyed the mini- golf and heated shallow pools. The location was very close to the shopping area in Frankenmuth. Lots of great shopping in the Frankenmuth area.

I wasn't fond of the size of the arcade. It was too big, very loud, too bright and sensory overload, and my least favorite part of the hotel. Would have preferred to have an indoor climbing structure. It was very busy over the long weekend. Hot tubs and pools were crowded Might try going midweek or perhaps if they have off season times, or for a birthday getaway of my child's choosing.

We really loved the mini golf and arcade. We used to bring our kids to the Bavarian Inn when they were small and had just as much fun with grown kids! It was nice having the pools and hot tubs as well. We loved the great location and being able to walk downtown and to all of the great shops in Frankenmuth. The rooms were comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge in the room too.

We had a view of the construction site and the sliding door in our room didn't work well but other than that everything was great! (And we totally understand about the construction and look forward to seeing the place when all is finished.)

We really enjoy the Bavarian Inn. This was our fourth time back as a family. The whole facility was very clean and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We loved the discount arcade gaming in the morning. Our favorites are skeeball and the coin games. The new was prize room was great! Breakfast at the Ratskellar was very good. Coffee stations were nice and coffee was also good. Our kids love the hot tubs and pools, especially the smaller ones with the waterfall. The whole town is cute and so much to do within walking distance. We always enjoy a meal at Frankenmuth Brewery and this year we tried TDubs, which we loved! Compared to other hotels with water slides/extra amenities, Bavarian Inn is by far the best value. We hope this continues after the new water park is built!

While I like the idea of switching to hand pumps for bathroom liquids, their pumps were very difficult to get the soap out. You had to push really hard. It almost felt like they were empty several times how much you had to press them. Bathroom was separated (sink outside of door with toilet and tub in one room) and quite small and dated, but still clean.

Nice hotel, clean comfortable rooms, excellent location. It was a nice bonus to have unlimited free water, tea and coffee on the corridor. Also, you may find a microwave here. The water park is open until 10:30p.m., so you can spend your day in the city and after relax in the jacuzzi or pool. Also, we had a small refrigerator in the room and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom.

Too soft mattress. If you have any problems with your back- can be painful sleeping.
