The gentleman making the breakfast is exceptional. So friendly and the food was great. Unique experience with a breakfast which was a nice change. The staff were so friendly and helpful at all times and so easy to approach. The beds were comfortable as well (a bit tight sleeping two on a double)

The rooms were OK but may need a bit of a update. The rooms were clean just needing a refresh! A new couch in the sitting room area may help and the pocket door would not close very well.

The staff is truly exceptional in many good ways: friendliness, knowledge, helpfulness, and professionalism. The room was large and well designed for our needs. Breakfast was great.... largely because of Crazy Tom and Charlie. Please let them know that Kenny & Little Otto send their best regards! The hotel is spacious and super dog friendly... in a safe and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood.

The HVAC was a bit noisy in 224.... but functional... and we have experienced much worse.

Hot breakfast - bacon, eggs, waffles etc. Way better than a lot of hotels offer any more. Staff was very friendly. Chatted with the chef as he put my breakfast together. The other helper was friendly and on top of keeping the coffee filled up. A couple of free drinks in the dining area in the early evening. Nice touch. The server was friendly. Large room and the bed was comfortable.

The building is getting tired. But it appeared well cared for. The same applied to the room, particularly the bath tub/shower. Not enough to deter me. I'm sure I will be back when I need to stay in Lansing again.

The breakfast was great. So fresh and hot and the cook was amazing. The facility in itself was big and clean and very impressive.

I hated the fact that the pictures on the internet did not match the room we were placed in. I would’ve preferred a room with a sink in the bathroom for privacy reasons. Also the bathroom was filthy. I’m talking about ring in the tub, dirty baseboards and floor. With monkey pox and Covid still lingering around the staff should be diligent about cleaning thoroughly. The heating/cooling system was extremely noisy. I did not sleep well at all. So I knocked 2 stars off.

Breakfast was good, cooked right in front of you. Fruit, yogurt, waffles, toast, etc. Room was excellent - more than we expected. Setting room plus bedroom. Was downstairs on bottom floor - never hear a sound. Parking lot had great overhead lighting and provided one with safe feeling about this location. Very near was modern apts and senior center - good for walking.

No issues. Checked in at 12:45pm or so due to late MSU football game. Clerk was very friendly for this late hour - a positive note for late arrival !!!

Convenient location, good parking, large room with nice sitting area, lovely lobby and breakfast area; excellent breakfast!

Small detail - we had a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, plus a second sink outside the bathroom. There was only one bar of soap, but maybe it was an oversight. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Mercedes at the front desk during check-in was amazing. She was so nice and welcoming. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The room far exceed my expectations. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast from Thomas in the morning topped it all off.

I don't have anything we didn't like about our stay.

The room was comfortable and spacious. They decor was a bit dated, but we didn't mind that. The hotel was conveniently located by restaurants, even within walking distance. Breakfast was the best part!

The room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke to me, although my partner didn't notice.

Beautiful hotel, love the rooms and the atmosphere of the hotel as a while, feels welcoming. We love the flexibility the rim allows with two separate rooms. I don’t have to stay up late because hubby can’t sleep!

Pillows were all flat! Air conditioner was very noisy!

as always, we love the hotel. we stay at the hotel just about every year for the boys HS basketball tourney in E Lansing. it snowed at night, but by the time we arrived at our car, the sidewalks were salted and cleared. again, we love this hotel.

our room was not up to the normal standards. we were placed on a handicap room. the carpet was stained in a couple places, the divider door was broken. when trying to shut the slider it was extremely difficult and loud. great breakfast.
