The location of the hotel was great. It overlooks Lake Superior and is close to the docks that all the tourist boats use. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers gourmet dishes. The staff of the restaurant and the hotel staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Check in and check out are efficiently done.

This hotel had coffee available, no breakfast foods. There was not a microwave in the room and no cooking was permitted in guest rooms. This was not a big deal for us, we had our car, and a great breakfast place was located about 1 mile from the hotel.

The view from our balcony was great! The room was exceptional! The restaurant's food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful!

The noise from the restaurant was alittle loud, but not terrible. I think if there was a door at the top of the stairs from the restaurant it might not have been as loud as it was. Also, with it only being one way up and down from the 2nd floor was a bit concerning, there really needs to be another way down.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was remarkably comfortable and well designed, with balcony views of Lake Superior. We were upgraded to one of their suites because we were celebrating our anniversary (and I’m sure it helped that it was still the off-season). The best restaurant in town is in the same property, and their food is SO good. It’s just a short drive or walk to downtown as well as easy access to Pictured Rocks. We highly recommend the Roam Inn!

Overall very comfortable stay. Lots of room to spread out our collection of ski trip clothing and gear. They provided us a free upgrade as well since there were few guests and a cancelation. Beautifully decorated with large photo murals of local outdoor scenes in room and hallways.

The dual heating units were an issue we didn't figure out. We tried setting the one in the living area at about 68 and the one in the bedroom at 60 for sleeping and it seemed to still be too warm in bedroom. It was as though the bedroom unit was tied to the living area unit. If this is the case, there should only be a single control panel to adjust. Another idea would be to have a few electrical outlets in the parking area for diesel vehicles such as our pickup truck. Engine warmers can be crucial with starting in very cold weather.

They advertise that breakfast is snacks and coffee. We were expecting Granola bars. When breakfast was actually a bowl of fresh berries,fresh fruit,amazing muffins,cereal, yogurt, and a few other things. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, clean, and the service was exceptional.

A game-changing establishment for Munising. By far the best lodgings the town has ever had, by a mile!! Raises the bar to an entirely new level in a town traditionally bereft of decent lodging. Tracey's, the hotel restaurant, was excellent. The locals dig it as much as tourists do. The service was fantastic. The room was spotless as was the entire property. The details (music, lighting, wall decor) were spot on. Erin and the team were great.

Roam Inn is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The decor and comfort of the rooms are unbeatable. They really pay attention to details. I had one of the best nights of sleep in a bed that’s not my own there at Roam Inn, and I also had the best meal I’ve ever had at their restaurant, Tracey’s. It’s just a wonderful place, and I would not want to stay anywhere else if Roam Inn were always an option.

Bed is very comfortable, room was really nice.

Restaurant was not so good. Took 44 to get a drink, food an hour and it was extremely overpriced. Did not have staff come to check on us but maybe one time. Food options were poor and rather odd.

This property was smartly decorated with comfort a top priority! We appreciated our spacious accessible room which was divided into 3 areas: the sitting room, bathroom, and bedroom. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful.

It’s on a busy street, but that’s good for the hotel and restaurant business. And it really wasn’t a problem.

The staff was very personable and helpful. Breakfast and coffee were very nice to have available in the morning. The relaxed and friendly environment (and classy) was much better than a big name corporate hotel.

There is nothing that comes to mind that I did not like. If I really have to think of something then it would be that the breakfast could have had a little more plant based options but that's really reaching.
